I mean you just click once and heal for 90% of gameplay. The music is all intense when the guy is clicking every 30 seconds like he did something and not just stare at his screen watching numbers pop up.
This is why F2P pvp will always be king. You're able to shit talk while fighting. Meanwhile on member worlds: *gets clapped during the time it takes to blink once*
@@YOIMMIKEThat's no excuse the British empire conquered more than any other and gave it back, we're the only ones in history to do that. Your English better be perfect when we come to visit.
F2p pking is best done with no armor. Too many zeros otherwise and very little possibility of a KO. Used to do it back in the day, anyone who wasn't a pure just wore monks robes.
The hill giant club is a two-handed melee weapon requiring 40 Attack to equip. It is currently the best-in-slot weapon for crush bonuses in free-to-play, possessing very similar stats to a rune 2h sword but with the slash and crush bonuses swapped, though the rune 2h sword has a slightly higher slash bonus than the crush bonus of the club.
"First ever" most definitely not first ever considering these boots have been out well over a year, and I've been hit with a 26 with a rune scim on my pure.
@@MonsterFtwGaming sorry, playing on mobile rn since wifi is getting changed, glad u found me anyways, appreciate it a lot dude, was expecting like 500k, u savage king 👑
It's honestly usually pretty dead. This is why I find it funny that some people are claiming that this wasn't the first 26 with Rune Scimitar. F2P PvP was completely dead besides like several players at GE at the moment of CW Boots release and I checked all spots prior. Nobody else was wearing or even knew about the boots. When F2P PvP is dead I typically hop around from lumby altar pvp world, GE, I'll check edge 308 and Ferox Enclave but yeah sometimes you just have to wait. It's good to have alts sometimes because if you can't find anyone your cb level, you can always for example check to see if there's any low level pures at edge 308.
@@IHUNTMAINS Ye i dont doubt the 26 scim, im a veteran oldschooler, i remember we even had rune gauntlets(?) at some point if you remember them and we were hitting 26s scim in f2p, this was back in the days. I found that lumby is pretty active for the 60-90 bracket in f2p which was nice to see.
@@Baselbarf8787 Part of the reason I've been uploading shorts despite not playing recently is I'm hoping to encourage others to give F2P pking a go, maybe I'll see you there when I start playing again, good luck!
@@BasicCat Oh yes i remember that shield aswell, those were the hype days, ive been trying every keyword possible but cant find pk videos from that time, if im not wrong we were hitting 27s scim with the shield aswell lol.
It depends on the time of day and what level your account is etc, but I don't have much trouble finding fights usually ^^ I read on your bio you make websites, are you any good and if so can I ask you about it because I've had an idea I've been sitting on for a while but don't know much about making sites myself >_>
@@SuperKinahead if you are stating RuneScape rounds up then think logically: Assume null hypothesis: RuneScape rounds up dmg calculation. Given: maximum dmg is 26 at 111 str(including str pot). This means from lvl 1 to lvl 111, we only need to do 13 dmgs. Given2: at lvl 1 with rune scimmy + amulet str+ ultimate str, the dmg is 2. This means for 110 lvls, you only need to increment dmg (13-2)=11 in total. So on avg every 10 lvls you deal 1 more dmg. Does increase 1 damage every 10 lvl in f2p makes sense to you? No there exists a case where you increase 2 dmg within 10 lvls (between lvl 7 and lvl 17). Therefore null hypothesis is rejected.
We had rune berserker shields and rune gaunts from Fist of Guthix that both had strength bonuses. We also had corrupt dragon long swords from bh we could use in f2p before RS2 went to shit with evolution of combat. Hit way higher then 26's lol.
Listen very carefully to what I'm about to tell you. At W308 Edgeville, you'll mainly find low level pures. Higher levels at Lumbridge Altar, Grand Exchange & Ferox Enclave in PvP worlds. But at any of these places, at any given moment, you can find me. And if you do.. You'll receive a beating so bad that you'll be changing your RU-vid handle to "LimitedLandon" after the vegetable-like state I'll put you in from clubbing you with my ... club.
Man this just reminds me how much better casual, slow paced pvp is for the average player. There would be a lot less tele spam and running away if pvp were more casual and pvmers had a real chance to fight back without uber gear
A lot of people don’t consider that to be fun though, hence why this type of pvp is dead I’d even argue that having no KO potential means people will run a lot more
@@chiggy2206 idk.. after doing 25 or so wildy tasks and getting pked non stop has taught me one thing. TELE BLOCK FREEEEEZZZZEEEEEE I think the current style of open world pvp on osrs could use some major changes. I mean 90% of it is people running around with the same strat as everyone else, killing people like me who are literally just dropping food and MAYBE a rune drop
@@KenGroth-ts6ge okay but what you’re comparing to it is even less variable, f2p pking is afk and occasionally heal. Also there’s a reason everyone uses this strat, because it’s effective, it’s a meta strat for a reason. Pvp could definitely use some changes but I can say for certain that f2p pking isn’t fun to the majority or it would be more populated
@@tubstv2393 damn bruh. i hope you eventually fill us in on your secret location hidden in F2P PvP that wasn't completely dead at the time boots were released!
I hit a 26 on someone December 2020 the day the cw boots released. I’m pretty sure I was the first one to hit a 26 scim in f2p sorry your a few years off
The clip isn’t new, it’s from the moment of release as I am constantly checking on upcoming F2P updates. Nobody else at the time had the boots. Lumb and edge were empty so I went to GE which was still mostly dead. This is the first 26 with Rune Scimitar, which I was excited to hit because to me it’s historic since my max had been 25 for so many years and thousands of fights.
@@IHUNTMAINS hell yea bro those were fun times - I ended up hearing about it only a week before release and was fortunate enough to have the full yellow gear I could trade in for the boots. I wasnt doing it as much I must of missed ya haha sorry
It definitely was the first *without any doubt whatsoever.* F2P PvP was completely dead at the time of update's release, as per usual. I was aware of the update beforehand, highly anticipating it's release because I only make F2P content. Already had the tickets ready. Checked every spot (all of which were basically empty besides edgeville which had a couple of low level pures) and not a single person was using the boots. Years later and 98% of people still don't use the boots. Not to mention that there were only about 10 players (If that) pking at the only spot that was barely active at the time, the grand exchange, so there isn't any doubt at all. It was the first 26. And when I say there wasn't any doubt, I'm not saying that I was 99.99% sure. I'm saying that I am 100% sure. I've had a couple of comments from people saying it wasn't the first lol but if you were actually there yourself at time for release, the reality was that you only needed to look at about 8 other players and see that nobody else was wearing the boots.
Pay 2 win?? lmao that's a first, no, the account required 30,000 pest control points to complete without killing any NPCs, so it was 30k pc points of manually repairing barricades. There's nothing p2w about it, I don't even understand what you mean. You can't be posting comments with a cute bear as your pfp and your channel bio being "life is like a box of chocolates, have a good day" and then be leaving savage comments like that, jesus christ go easy on me..
