This is an Oster A5 turbo 2 speed clipper case replacement.
You don't pay me to change parts. Anyone can do that but you pay me to diagnose correctly the first time to save you money and make your job enjoyable. It will make you work less with working equipment.
My name is Nick George with Clouds Diamond Sharpening. I sharpen on a diamond sharpening wheel (grandpa made the wheels shape and figured out how to use the diamond process. that's so fine at 1500 diamond grit, that polishes your blade sharp. I fix any clippers that have parts available. I can sharpen any blade or scissor that can come apart. I sharpen convex, semi convex, chunkers, thinning, fabric, surgical, and little scissor at a fair price.

Awesome, just did this to my super old turbo. Never had it apart for at least 10 years. Grooming 2 very frisky standards. Thing was full of hair, no grease, black from carbon. What a mess. Cleaned it all up, and lubed it like you showed. What a difference!!! Feels so strong now. It does have a vibration however, and now I know where this comes from. Thanx for the great video.

I had to replace housing on Oster 76 clippers because the brass hinge screw anchors pulled out. Very informative video, glad I watched this before making change out, thanks.

Hello no problem I'm glad I helped you. But just so you know you can take the brass insert and there's a little cross piece inside of it you push it to the very back of the brass piece and Hammer it back in it spreads the ears out so it stays in the housing and then when the screw goes in it expands even more. I think I might start making videos about Clippers and giving tips and tricks I've learned over my time of sharpening and repairing I thank you for still watching I appreciate it

@@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973, tried inserting anchor and pushing bar, didn’t work. I inserted with some JB weld, holding so far but consensus is it will not last. I have a new housing standing by if JB fails. Thank you for the time and input.

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen. Was in the Quarter horse business for since 1968. Wish I'd had internet back then and been able to view your videos.because my clippers and blades would've lasted longer. Oster is what I always used. I just bought this Oster turbo 2 speed. Thanks for posting this.

Hi. Yes you can but it won't run faster it'll just have normal speed and then an even slower speed. You have to use a turbo/2 speed gear that has less teeth and a 2 speed aremature do it dont strip the gear. Thanks and thanks for watching

I need help re-assembling the spring and latch at minute 17:05 and that’s where it goes out of focus and then below the camera. I cannot figure out what is suppose to snap into place. I can’t find where it is suppose to catch in order to snap! I keep watch, pausing watch again. Help.

That's not an easy thing to describe. Perhaps I could make a how-to video in the future, but this video was just a demonstration of repairing the housing.

Hello. A thrust spring will go in the field and hold a thrust cup. And then has a thrust plate at the end of the armature

Hey, I really appreciate your videos; I am learning alot about my old used classic 76 clippers, that I picked up recently. I especially, appreciate the small "clues/tips" about what to look for, when checking/servicing these oster clippers and what the common failures are and which parts tend to wear out. You videos, are very through, a great viewpoint of the clipper, as you work and very helpful! Thanks again! :)
