When the doctor tells Keith it's too soon to tell how bad Lucas's injuries are, he informs Haley, who throws Nathan out immediately and calls Peyton, who is with Brooke at the time. Karen and Deb comfort each-other at Lucas's sickbed, where Peyton briefly and Brooke more elaborately. Lucas wakes up with Nathan on his bedside.

Watching that hospital scene is so funny because Karen was already hip to what was really going on 🤣. You can tell by her eyes and expressions

I like this scene. I love Karen - I mean the fact that Peyton introduced herself and Karen was like I already know who u are. Man --- Lucas must have been like totally obsessed with Peyton that his own Mum didn't even need an introduction to know that's the girl who stole her son's heart damn.... Leyton TLA ❤️

Even if it didn't work between them in season 1 because of Brooke, I always knew Lucas and Peyton will find each other again and they did because they belong together ❤️

mothers intuition, when she saw Brooke was with him she was like nah she's not it and she didn't even know of Brooke. When Peyton walked in, she just smiles and didn't even need her name cause she just knew who she was. She knew it would be those two in the end, wish i had something like that. Karen and Peyton had this instant bond it was cute

Nah! Not even close. Lucas is just confused as Nathan attentionally was an asshole. He only changed after he met Haley. Lucas cares for both but is confused on who is the right choice to choose between the two.
