@@ollieroks dude, I'm sorry but mosh pits for Pantera and other more "hardcore" acts were NOT like the crowd shown on this video. Now the people on this video look like they're having a great time, which is great, and though the crowd was "active", they looked to be fairly safe. But comparing this video to mosh pits found in the concerts of more aggressive bands, there's nowhere near the anger, aggression, and violence that was rampant in say, concerts from the hardcore punk scene of the 1980s. I'm not putting these people down for lacking the chaos and violence of the crowds from shows of more aggressive acts...I'm just saying there's quite a clear distinction. Personally, id feel much safer in a crowd like this than in a Black Flag show from 1985
I find it amusing when someone tells me they were in a pit at a pop group show. No, you weren't in a pit. You danced in a circle. If you were in a pit and you tried that shit, you'd be obliterated. But you'd be helped up and asked if you were okay. The Hives thing here is a kindergarten sing-along. A pit is a playoff football game without pads.
Same here... tomorrow they will be playing in Barcelona. Too bad that Blink 182 are playing tomorrow as well, it's like a bad joke... I have the tickets for blink since last year...
There’s no such thing as “sold out” anymore. Ticket brokers have a monopoly and almost all of the tickets are “sold out” almost immediately for every popular event, then they are sold by “resellers” on a thousand different ticket sites. You just buy them there.
I was too young to go to those shows (according to my parents) since I was in junior high at the time, but I made up for it after high school. 🤘🏼 Thank goodness there are videos of those shows from the 80s.
@donaldchaney6485 apparently it's some British slang that means "to treat harshly". At least according to what I found online. If that's what it really means then this guy ain't doing a good job selling the band is he? Lmao
"This mosh pit is sponsored by O'douls, virgin daiquiris, Fume flavored air, and Wyngz. *Any resemblance to an actual moshpit is coincidental and was not the intent of the participants*"
being triggered by the word moshpit when the video was clearly about the freeze is the most incel metalhead shit I've seen and it's all over this comments section
if this band and from what I can tell, their fans as well, ever seen a actual working moshpit in full head slamming, bone jarring wide open mosh mode they would without a doubt turn around and run 900mph away from it lol!!!!
Interestingly, I find you far more annoying than that...opinions vary, there's no right or wrong, which is the point. Also you could've just kept that simple minded negativity to yourself, but you chose to share it with the world so you get what you get.
If you call a bunch of guys with their hands on the shoulders in front of the guy in front of him, a mosh pit, you've clearly not been punched in the face, by someone who can punch you in the face 🤣🤣
Why do people insist on putting their ignorance on display? "Hi, I don't know shit, and I can't even say it in a clever way" that's what you sound like.
Saw them on the Tyrannosaurus Hives tour in like ‘04 or ‘05 and they froze like this. It was so awesome. So good to see them still playing and sounding as good as ever.
