Other Lives - "Paper Cities" - HearYa Live Session 4/30/09 

2021.. and its still amazing

My wife and I got to see this band in November in D.C. and it was a beautiful performance. Afterwards they stuck around to hang out and drink beers with everyone. Very humble, very talented.

I discovered Other Lives in 2015 (a bit late, but then I'm always late for everything) My first thought when hearing their tunes was "wow, this is actually real music."

This sound moved my heart. And this dude's vibe is amazing. I get this sense of peace just watching him.

Stellar Band! This was my best band of 2009! Underated and unfortunetly missed by many people. Wake up peaople it ain't too late! Other Lives amazing band!

I really like this band, this song especially. The music is just so easy to lose yourself in.

It is still on top of the list the of best songs I have ever listened to. And it's getting more and more relevant these days.

My favorite song right now. The part where the band stops and it's just him singing gives me the chills every time

There is absolutely nothing wrong with becoming a huge successful band as long as they are humble and are original, the only thing is that has there ever been a mainstream band that has done it.

@flybynight26 Don't think they care much about the big money. Either way if they were to strike it big they wouldn't be so "big" in the eyes of their true fans. I hope they make it big but not too big.

@94sfitzgerald Why do everbody compare a band , wich makes very good music with the beatles? why they should get as commercially as the beatles? to change there sound...like the beatles?

@HerrPunkt well the beatles were a great band thats well known , i don't think they need to change their sound , i'd just like to see them get as widely known as the beatles rather than lil wayne or other mainstream music that gets popular. Atleast if these guys got huge , people would be listening to music with good lyrics that could better their lives rather than shallow materialistic songs that tell kids thatthey need to buy buy buy to be happy
