Probably the best case reviews out of dozens I've looked at. Noone ever covers the side lips or even puts the device into view horizontally. Well done!
I have always been a loyal customer of Otterbox products I have used Defender cases on all my phones and tablets. They are rugged and reliable. When I had an issue you replaced them under warranty something I really appreciated about the company. I ordered the Defender Pro case for my New Samsung 23+ I paid full price (65.00 Each) for two cases on Amazon. When I received them last night I was very furious and disappointed. They do not have screen protectors for them since they were always offered on that line. Otterbox needs to get in gear and offer a screen protector and camera protector for this case line for the price they charge. I Returned them and found one that not only has a screen protector, it also has a sliding cover to protect the camera, and I got both cases for less than the cost of one Defender case !!
Yes it's a case... What's important is how well does it "Protect" your phone. Drop the phone in motion whilst walking at first pocket height then chest height onto the ground outside. Then say is it good or not. Outside that everything you're saying is a distant minor.
I really with there was a case that the sided were taller than the screen. Even the defender doesnt seem to be which is quite disappointing to me. If it lands on the edge of a counter it looks like the screen could still break.
Finally a review that covered the Strada case! Thank you so much! I have on question tho, apparently on the S22 Ultra, the Strada case were interfiering with the S-Pens funcionality on the right side of the screen, where the magnet is. Does this happen with the S23 Ultra case too or did they fix that issue? Like the S-Pen wouldn't regestier input in the middle of the right side ot the screen. It was quite a big area where that happend. Thank you so much and great video!
I tested it and it seems to work fine also did you see our S22 review with the strada? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4QOe0My0Z3E.html
@@TechMadeEzy Thank you for the quick answer. How the flip part of the cover holds with the magnet at the back of the case and the S-Pen compability were my major concerns. Thanks to your review and the given answer, I made my purchase decision!
@@TechMadeEzy sorry I meant to say I have been trying to find a video that explains the difference is between the cases. And yours did exactly that so thank you so much
Thanks for the review, exactly what I needed. One question: does the Defender have any side lip? You showed the Commuter has some side lip but not sure about the Defender. Do either of these cases pass the stylus test? (Putting the stylus width-wise on the phone and it rests on the case instead of the screen? Thanks again!
I've always been an OtterBox fan. However the line up for the s23 ultra don't feel so supportive. I bought the nude case the buttons felt loose making the case feel loose. I returned it and got the glitter one the on and off button was so hard to click. I returned it again, we t to best buy bought the clear one the rubber feels so awkward to me so sticky i hate it. I did keep it they sent me a warranty replacement just to keep me happy which i appreciated. But i wish it wasn't this way this year
Awesome video. Alot of attention to detail. Got a question about the commuter case. Amazon shows 2 different model numbers, 77-91107 for $59.99 and 77-91109 for $34.86. Which one is genuine? I ordered the 77-91109 for $34.86 and it came in a 100% recycled content box. Is the $25 price difference just from retail packaging vs recyclable type packaging?
1st thank you That I'm unsure of was Amazon the seller? The blue that I have has this number 77-91114 I'm not sure if those numbers can vary by the store you buy them from example Best Buy or Walmart Etc but I would call OtterBox I believe this is it for US +1-855-688-7269
@@TechMadeEzy Yes I believe the many different model numbers were because of the different packaging they came from. The commuter was a little too slippery from the back for me. Just bummed they don't sell the Defender pro model in Canada.
Hi I would recommend getting a case, friendly screen protector. When you look for a screen protector, you’ll see some actually say case friendly that means that they leave a little space all around.
I have a Samsung A52 5g and have a Otterbox cover, just under 1 year old! The case has cracked and is warping top and bottom! To the point where a new one is needed! Don't think I will be buying another!
