If we had scored a TD on those turnover drives, there probably wouldn’t have been enough time for Texas to get a FG into half, making it 24-0, but hey, mistakes happen.

Rewatching after our Big XII championship against Baylor. Love Joel Klatt at the end of this game: "Lincoln Riley will likely have to see Tom Herman again in the Big XII championship". Texas goes on to be 5-4 in conference. Can't love it more.

This shows you how bad Mike Stoops was at scheming new age offenses his game plan usually always had no pressure and tried to play soft and cover for to long letting QBs sit back and pick us apart we seemed to always be in the exact wrong play call on third down we don't have to be #1 in def yards allowed all that matters is 3rd down Def and PPG if we get 1 or 2 TO in a game its a guaranteed win with this offense Once this new O line gels watch out also this D is going to do nothing but get better

this is really nit picky but this ref crew made some terrible spots of the football that cost us on every run except the touchdowns runs obviously. this is the crew that flagged tre brown at OSU at the end of the game two years ago and the same crew that worked the championship game. terrible work. different crew for this years title game please?!?!
I think Hurts has surpassed Landry Jones as the most overrated QB in school history. With either Baker or Kyler leading the offense, this would most likely have been a 2000 or 2003-level blowout.
