I love the fact Cora isn't pissed because Regina wanted her dead. She's pissed because she didn't come do it herself. Lol gotta love Cora, everyone from Rumple on down respects her brand of Evil.
Cora always said that if she were to rule some domain, she would hold the hearts of her people. But as the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland, when she did so in a literal sense, I don't think she realized how much she held the hearts of even her viewers. Cora will be dearly missed, and so may she rest in peace.
For those confused there are 2 queens shown in this variant of wonderland the queen of hearts and the red queen. 1 has more of a card game motive and the other a chess like one. Both are seperate characters entirely and even share history with eachother showing that they are not one in the same character.
I love how matter-of-factly she says she's going to rip out the heart of her own daughter. She really is ruthless. Still, that's what was so great about her. She will be missed.
Yes agree with you Yvon Young. I never thought she's in her sixties, didn't look like, she looks like forty something. Pretty, sophisticated, she's act so well for this character. I miss her played Cora instead of Rose McGowan
Cora is seriously one of the best villains ever created. I wish they had used her more. Even if I hate what she does in the show, she’s such a fan-freakin-tastic villain. And Barbara Hershey portrays her perfectly. I love to hate her lol
LET'S EXPLAIN...: Cora is the *Queen Of Hearts* from _"Alice's Adventures In Wonderland"_ and _"Disney's Alice In Wonderland"_ (and also the Miller's Daughter from the tale _"Rumplestiltskin"_ but anyways...), and Anastasia is the *Red Queen* from the book sequel _"Through The Looking Glass And What Alice Found There"_ ...Two completely different characters! Although Tim Burton's live-action combined them, in _"Once Upon A Time"_ universe and in the books universe, they are both completely different women! ;3
I wonder what Cora is thinking at the moment when Hook said that her daughter wants her dead? She thinks: "Regina? It can't be!" or she thinks: "But who, Regina or Zelina? And how can she know?"
I see a lot of confusion about the two queens so I will try my best to explain, in the ouat universe Wonderland is ruled by Cora the Queen of Hearts and Anastasia the Red Queen, both are characters from the Alice books but technically live different lands. Hearts is in the first book and controls a deck of cards in Wonderland and Red is in the second book and is a chess piece in the looking glass land. Now During this time frame Cora had already met the Red Queen and both rule as villains now once The Red Queen becomes good her and will scarlet became the White King and Queen which are characters from the second book as well and Cora had already left Wonderland at that point. So they are two totally different characters and had different backgrounds
@@Kingsterplet7456 well yes and no, before the dark curse the queen of hearts was the main ruler and during that time frame Red Queen came to wonderland with will scarlet and decided to marry the Red king and hearts taught the Red Queen magic basically manipulated her to become evil so I guess at that point wonderland had two main rulers but when Regina casted the curse The Queen of Hearts was in the Enchanted Forest with hook so from that point on the Red Queen and Red King ruled wonderland untill The red queen became good and married Will scarlet and they became the White king and queen. That's just my prospective of it. It can get sort of confusing

That's interesting, too. She _can't_ be all that shocked. Cora is a supreme realist, in the sense of cold calculation (love throws her because she doesn't really believe in it). Yet it seems to surprise her. I wonder if she's more bothered that Regina would seek her death (Cora herself trained that little serpent, it shouldn't be surprising), or if she's shocked that Regina did such a shoddy job of carrying it out?
At first behind the mask her eyes are bright blue, but once she takes it off they are brown! :) I really don't care because I love this show but I noticed! ;)

In ouat in wonderland the king asks the younger queen of hearts to become his wife and the king is the guy that's in the begining that says "kneel before the queen". Just Incase anyone was confused
no u wrong cuz they never show the part wen cora takes over wounderland in becoming Queen of Hearts but i could only imagine with how powerfull she is she musta dominated the king of hearts n in making her Queen of hearts that's my thoughts but again they never show it but the red Queen yes they did show her part n how she became the Red Queen thats all cuz cora was Already Queen of heart way before Anastasia became the Red Queen ok n thats the facts!!!
Rumple made a mirror which could send her to Wonderland and gave it to Regina. Then Regina pushes Cora through the mirror, sending her to Wonderland and the mirror shatters, making her unable to return. In Wonderland, she probably used her magic (and her ability to rip out hearts) to become the Queen of Hearts.
How do they explain the queen being younger in once upon a time in wonderland? Does she take over from Cora or something? I like the show, but I am confused at that detail cause I saw this episode awhile ago.

The young one is the red queen not the queen of hearts. The queen if hearts controls cards and says off with tge head and comes from the first alice book. The red queen controls red chess pieces and comes from the second book.
