I have a love-hate relationship with Ouidad. It’s the only gel that I’ve used that really helps with Texas’ heat and humidity. That’s what I love about it, but I hate the price. I use Ouidad just like you I have to re-apply some after plopping and when I’m refreshing I don’t need to re-wet my whole head I just wet my hands a little bit and add a little bit of the gel and apply it as needed. You should try the stronger hold one I think you’ll like it.
Seriously, Day 4 looked beautiful and natural. Most people would love for their hair to look that gorgeous on the 4th day. Loved you review. You are so cute!
After watching a couple of videos about this particular brand (Climate Control)...I love it. It works really well on South Florida weather; which is summer all year long. The only thing I hate is the price for the little bottle you get. I can justify the price because I don't dye my hair and I have stopped doing Keratin treatments. The reason I purchased was because ULTA had the shampoo and conditioner for $32 instead of the $26 dollars each. I ended up purchasing two of each. It will definitely last me a long time.
I am a newbie subscriber, new to curly hair styling and love your videos. Honestly, I would love to have your Day 4 curls and frizz on my Day 1! It looks beautiful!
I bought a sample of the Jessicurl. I have 2b curls & it's just okay to me. My hair was still frizzy & it felt heavy on my hair compared to the Giovanni gel I'm also trying. The Giovanni makes my hair look dry on the ends though. Maybe this stuff will work for me. I'm in Maine right now but I'm moving back to Virginia Beach in May.
Woow! She looks great with the makeup and heavy black eyeliner but without any makeup she looks STUNNING! so prettier bare face and I curls look great!
I loved this review and found this so beneficial. I keep transitioning from devacurl to ouidad but tend to go back to this Gel during the rainy/humid but warm weather in seattle. I prefer the extra strong hold version in the summer and tend to go back to the original in the winter. I am going to try this in the next coming week (your process) and hopefully get good results after the 1st or second day. Thanks so much! I would love to know what Conditioner and Shampoo do you use?
I'm wondering what curl cream do you recommend using under the Ouidad advanced climate control red label? Fine hair, high porosity, low density hair. Thanks for your reply.
