I dont think charles is sticking at Ferrari past this contract. He has lost so many races due to Ferrari doing things only Ferrari would do. If Ferrari keep up what they have been doing he is gonna get out of there for sure

Leclerc is not the person to change Ferrari like Schumacher did. And he will be/is sick and tired of the team donig stupid Ferrari stuff. So he will be gone. This guy needs a proper reliable car and team and he will perform. It is very mentally demanding to drive for Ferrari if you don't make/form your own team around you ( again, like the great Michael Schumacher did ).

@@laurenm-w3634 Apparently merc or AM, based on their predictions, though i suspect a bit of recency bias there. Who's to say merc will be on top by then, or AM for that matter? New regs, new playing field, hard to say who will be on top, though if things keep going the way they are, RB can start focussing on 2026 rather early in 2025.

@@atsubw Everyone has their breaking point, Leclerc too. From what it looks like, he isn't going to extend his contract which ends at the end of next year.

I'm not sure why people say he "deserves it". Leclerc has made as many mistakes at Ferrari as Ferrari has made with him there. When the team finally pulls it together, somewhat, Leclerc cuts a corner, jumps a chicane, etc. and blows it anyway. He's talented, but he doesn't seem to have the ability to handle the pressure. See the Japan GP, last year, for a perfect example.

Arthur Leclerc was mediocre AF in F3 and is being carried by his surname. Bearman is the real deal.

Plus if he ascends up the ladder quickly (F4 this year, F3 in '24 and F2 in '25) I wouldn't rule out Tuukka Taponen being a potential F1 rookie in 2026.

Definitely, he just won his debut Super Formula race... think he'll be in AT next year and if that season goes well could replace Perez for 2025

He actually finished 17th in his rookie season, with 14 points. He won in his second season of F3

before f3 he was a master of driving in all classes, only in f3 and f2 has he had to learn the cars but when he did he drives amazing as we see now, but bad luck is dancing around him in f2, just look at that absolute torpedo he was taken put with in australia just last week, he would do amazing in f1 and i hope red bull sees that

Doohan definitely isb’t going to be in F1. Martins is SO overrated. Lawson and Hauger has possibilities, but Leclerc isn’t as terrible as you guys say.

@@Ferrarista_csm2009 Lawson is a De Vries 2.0, the train for F1 already passed him, also Tsunoda is way better than him, Iwasa is better, Maloney and Hauger could be better, he is not coming in F1 anymore.

Why was Hauger so mid last year in a Prema? Sargeant and Iwasa were also rookies but were better.

@@grm6486 Prema was absolute trash last year. His teammate didn't exactly have a great season either. You can also see how far back they are this year. Hauger also had ridiculously bad luck last year

It seems to be only the Sky commentators that only work for that one channel, all of the other F1 commentators I've seen seem to do stuff for other channels and projects. Would love to see them as official commentators on somewhere like Channel 4.

@@abigailcooling6604 Scarbs does everything including official F1. Would be cool to see Matt and Tommy get an official role though, something like Fan Ambassador/Liaison, so F1 can get some REAL feedback from what fans want and not just weighing wallets to get a seat at the table.

Perez is one of the best on the field to help develop a car, and this season will define if he can aim for another top tesm or s mid field, so its all up to him, (also Ford is giving checo special care lately so this will be important for a rsre but possibly stay at rbr) but if he ñeft the team, you need to see how rbr and even max grew up and learned from Pérez, any team would learn from him also he carries about 60% of sponsors of rbr with him as carlos slim owns or have important shares of wallmart, claro, american mobile, hard rock, etc etc, I could totally see Checo going to another team, even ferrari director have recently good spoke on checo, if he doesn get a good team he will move to Indy but unlike these brits he will not go to a backfield car.. They put checo on what they think was Going to be the slowest team 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, this is the lineup I'd be most excited to see, but I can't imagine Horner allowing Max to have such a strong teammate. I think Lando will steal too many points from Max, and the golden boy won't be happy.

Matt hates Lewis. Lewis has been hated for a long time because of his skin colour and success. Many people do not want Lewis to break M Schumacher's records. Thats why Matt thinks / hopes that Alonso will race at 45 but Lewis wont race at 41. It's a shame that people like Matt think this negatively toward ´s Lewis.

@@NerdChannelBrasil I’m sorry, but you don’t have to win everything to get up to F1. E.g. Albon is obviously an amazing F1 driver, but he hasn’t won anything since his kartning days. Vesti has the talent, otherwise Mercedes wouldn’t have chosen him for their junior programme. He hasn’t been consistent enough the last couple of years, but now he’s back with Prema, I think he’ll be a real championship contender this year in F2 🤍 and also, he’s just an incredibly nice and funny guy, which is also needed in the media circus that is F1

liam lawson derserves it 100000 times more , easily the most adabtible driver in motorsport right now, hes extremely competitive in every racing series hes been in

You're entitled to your opinion, but Fred is the championship leader in F2 in his second season, and Liam ended P3 in his second season, so I wouldn't say Liam deserves it 100000 times more, I would say they equally deserve it. But whatever, they are not competing for the same seat anyway.

@@cecilie4296 I get we both have our opinions but look at how competitive Liam Lawson has been in f3 Him and piastri championship fight, f2 he has a lot of bad luck, dtm shunted of top stop him from winning the championship having a f1 driver as he’s team who was no where near the front, he’s currently p2 in super formula which is meaning he’s an extremely adaptable driver, which means you know he’s gonna adapt to f1 way quicker then anyone else

First impressions are a lot and apparently Hertas first impressions from the Mclaren test was very good. He apparently prepared well for the test. While the SL points held him back this year I'm sure he will be sniffed at again in the next couple of season because word spreads but also his nationality. I could be wrong but the only team F1 whoi would be willing to take a chance on Pato is Mclaren.

Palou is more F1 Ready than O'Ward imo, Palou is literally joining Arrow McLaren for 2024 I believe so I think Palou is more likely

Audi has had good sales in China, but with the transition to BEVs their sales are dwindling. I can really see Audi using this unique opportunity to boost their BEV sales in China. They don't need Mick for marketing in Germany. We Germans will always buy our Mercs, BMWs and Audis and since F1 isn't available here in free TV anymore, its marketing potential is slim anyways.

I agree. I think they rushed Yuki into F1 as a favour to Honda but they are taking their time with Liam and he is following a similar path to Pierre Gasly who also drove in Super Formula before making his debut in F1. So unless de Vries has some epic turn around in his form... My prediction would be Yuki and Liam in Alpha Tauri for 2024.
