I'm not gonna lie, 2JP held it's ground MUCH better than I expected it to. That tire setup was the way to go for sure! Probably one of the most exciting races to watch out of any of the Hoonicorn VS The World series. Was sweet to run round 2 straight heads up as well with the better reaction time and heat in the tires. Doug is the man!!

No prep with an 1100 hp 2 wheel drive 2JZ RZR I was amazed at just how close it was considering the Mustang was four-wheel drive and the Razor was trying to hook on a un prepped surface. Congrats guys on a great show and very close race..

I love this! win or lose, this was a great race, just a little more traction on the big end and the hoonicorn would have no chance. I've been watching you guys for a long time, and to see 2JP go from cool trail beating RZR to the tire burning smile making absolute beast of a unit that it is today, has been a lot of fun to watch, congrats to the whole SXS Blog crew, and Doug for being fearless behind the wheel, I cant wait to see what comes next. Less power, 2wd SXS, against an AWD 1400 hp car that races that track all the time and was built with the backing of Ford racing, you all did one hell of a job. That was fun to watch. I really love seeing 2JP in the sand. Hope we get some more of that in the future. Great job guys! Also forgot to add, why not add some nitrous to help the big ol turbo? Or is nitrous no good on a stroker engine?
THAT WOULD BE SICK! And ya it'd be fine, in my experience generally higher cr with nitrous the more power you get out of your shot so the stroker setup would rip, plus they could run no intercooler cause of its cooling properties and save weight there too.

Unreal!!! 2JP is no joke! If anyone has watched these races against the Hoonicorn you know what it means to hang within a car or two at finish is no easy accomplishment. My hats off to you boys for building the unicorn of sxs drag cars. Looking forward to seeing the development continue!!! They were nervous after the second run. They didn’t want to give another chance to a freaking SXS to possibly beat the Hoonicorn! We all know it and we all saw it. You did great Doug. A 1600hp AWD special built race car vs a mostly stock chassis 4door Rzr...you did better than ANYONE ever thought you would. If you watch the beginning build videos, they have the absolute smallest case powerglide available with basically no driveshaft. A gearvender wouldn't fit unfortunately

20:00 mark you can see the Hoonicorn more than walking by the second half...so low boost is 1400whp...high boost probably north of 2000whp with AWD on that surface. Maybe if you guys were half the weight you are and only 500' race you could do it on that track surface, but after 700' bye bye like the damn Roadrunner! Crazy impressive guys! Mad respect too.

Y’all are so supportive of each other and each other’s accomplishments. It’s clear as daylight how much true joy everyone gets from seeing each others machines “Choochin”. Doug is an awesome driver and it’s obvious how much love and admiration the crew has for him.

I knew it... I watched the Hoonigan version of this race before this one, and I knew the tires were spinning down the track. Still did a damn good job at staying with an AWD higher HP car. Still a win to me. Just imagine if you had traction.

I've been watching you guys for over 4 years ever since your first trip to Moab. To see you grow from a couple dudes messing with Doug's stock YXZ in your free time to building a 2JZ RZR going toe to toe with the Hoonicorn with over 300k subscribers just blows my mind. I gotta say, in a rear wheel drive car (Vehicle I guess?) you guys gave that Hoonicorn the best race out of any other RWD car ever! If you guys would have asked for the hit you would have won. Even though you lost you still won in my book.
