Sis I get u ! I was a raccoon in pre med ! But I became alien in med school ! But the doctors and nurses in our hospital r soo fine ! Maybe when we graduate One day in the future we r gonna look fine like miracle !!
What do you mean? I don't think the problem was the job, but the way they are or what the priorities, don't you? Both my parents worked a lot and my sister and I never felt lonely
Billie Freitas maybe because you had someone to spend your time with? I dunno... Both my parents came at 10 o’clock when a I was asleep and I just got to see them 1hr tops in the morning. But because my siblings weren’t home either I spent my whole day studying or drawing alone in my room.
@@trashdump7623 I think it's because my parents spent the entire weekend with me and my sister and we used to travel a lot, so I didn't felt felt out. Of course, my dad missing my ballet performances and all made me sad, but not so much. I'm going to be a doctor and my boyfriend a attorney, but we always say that we will try to do the same as my parents when we have kids. Well, I hope you guys have a good relationship now
Glad to see a young hardworking couple contributing and sharing their daily lives.....remember to take care of your yourself too so that you guys can provide the care that others need. Thank M & K from Singapore
@ Tom Yam Hard working Couple? ... Not! He is lazy. She paid his Med School bills, and he has a nonchalant, narcissist personality. If they are not married, it's because he doesn't show interest.
I AM A 40 yr old singaporean accountant , watching you young lads working hard always energize my boring routine days.....thumbs up and please keep it up!!!
Lads is just for males. The equivalent for females is lass, plural lasses. They're both slang in England. Sound out of place to be said in this setting.
I love this bc I feel like we’re all so used to just watching a vlogger’s day in the life. It’s refreshing to watch a day in the life of a different profession. A tough one at that! Hats off to you for being able to be in the healthcare field and vlog! Thanks for your service 💛

My mom's a nurse and she also has 12 hours and when she comes back she looks so tired but still she talks to us about what all happened there.....you all nurses and doctors all of them who are working for our health in this pandemic Salute to all. Thanks fo taking care of us without caring about yourselves health. Respect all nurses and doctors.
I love how this video seems to be of you guys sharing simple things in an ordinary day. Then we realise together that how something simple (but also not really) like being able to car pool together can bring so much happiness! The joy of you guys just sitting together in the car is palpable (:
You and Kevin inspire me so much! I’m almost 30, just barely starting my classes for my prerequisites so I can finally get into nursing. I’ve been in the healthcare field for years, but never had the motivation to go. You guys are awesome and so inspiring!!!!!! ❤️ thank you
My sister is a nurse here in Portugal and they received free meals from all type of restaurants during the quarantine. It's really sad knowing that in the usa nurses are even more mistreated then normal. Just a shame
In the Philippines, us nurses, specially on the private hospital have a low salary, we get minimum wage just like the fast food crew employee. Also they don't pay us for the unplotted OT. like for example, your duty is 6-2 but you finish up by 4 or 6 then thank you but you dont get to have OT payment for that.
@@razan1322 yep that's the way it is here. only thank you for the unplotted OT. then salary deduction if ur late. that's why most nurses here try to go abroad where in we are paid the right amount of what we are working for. here I get 7.8 US dollars per supposed 8hrs shift. but if for example 15mins before shift doctors made rounds and made orders I have to finish it. Sometimes I have 6-8 patients per shift then i'm from IM dept. where in patients get to have 3-5 doctors so that's a lot of work to finish.
@@grazelleclarin2526 also in tunisia xD if u work in a private clinic u get maximum 500dt, u guys can see how much it's worth in dollors u will be shocked
OMG, THANK YOU for differentiating and segregating ‘outside/dirty’ and ‘inside/clean’ especially as healthcare professionals. Even if you weren’t a healthcare professional, the idea of coming home in whatever we’re wearing that was touching on all types of public surfaces and then sitting on your couch/bed/etc without changing? 😱
This is the first time i watch your channel. So relatable and down to earth. Please stay safe and healthy. I am rooting for you guys! Thank you for staying strong and help others during the pandemic 🤍🤗
I am definitely on autopilot whenever I get ready for work. I work nights and do 12s and even tho it’s like waking for day shift, for some reason I can’t wake up early for days! I’m always so tired waking up for day shift but when I wake up for nights I’m fine and usually wake up before my alarm. Even tho it’s technically the same. It’s so strange. But being on nights, I definitely lack a lot more sleep and yet I manage to survive somehow. Kev waiting until last min to wake up is totally me 😂 I’m usually up and out the door in like 30 min 😅

y’all are such an inspiration! this video reminds me of me & my bf, we’re both medical students who hope we can go to work together like this someday day 🥰❤️
Just starting my Nursing School 🩺💉🧠🧬 journey! In my pre-nursing classes now and LOVING IT! crazy during COVID (everything is virtual 😒) but I’m still loving every minute of this new knowledge! Any advice for this newbie ☺️
@@sofiaguerrero0969 I am also a nurse student, and like you I am so stressed out. Those stressful times often make me doubt myself and if I have chosen the right path. But my family and friends have been so precious and supportive, and God has given me strength that I will one day graduate and help other people. Good luck on your journey, and maybe we will one day meet as future nurses, take care of yourself, and also don't forget to rest. Your health and mentality is also important.
Just an FYI, that's not how you brush with electric toothbrush. You don't move it around, you just gently glide it along your tooth holding it at a 90 degree angle. You don't have to move it around at all, it'll do all the work itself, you just walk it
I’m a student nurse and the doctors in my hospital are young but they look very sleep deprived. Ofc only in the morning lol by noon they’re pretty alert because of the multiple cups of coffee.
You are so beautiful! And lovely couple. I am Filipino but I'm currently living in the US and works as a nurse here. I feel you about the mask. I work straight 3 days 12 hr shifts every week. It's super tiring especially on crazy days but I like it. I am actually gonna upload my video this saturday about this. So excited!
I love you guys and you guys relationship!!!! I tell all of my friends to check you guys out. I’m a student nurse graduating this semester. I’m single and hope to one day have what you guys have!!! Stay together, stay focused, keep up the good work and don’t let anyone come in between what you guys have!!! You guys rock and are a huge inspiration for me, thanks!!!😇💕🤗🙏👍
I love watching your channel❤️ I'm really energized by your videos. I've been studying for becoming nurse in Japan. But one of my dreams is to work abroad as a nurse. So your videos that shows how the foreign nurses spend days is extremely interesting and impressive. (Also I love your character and the way you talk. ) 日本に縁があるのも少し嬉しいです🗼 Anyway,I think the situation of medical stuffs has not been easy these days. But I hope you are safe and be healthy.
I'm going to study nursing this year and I'm excited twelve hours sounds good to me (not really) but I'm really excited I pray to God that He leads me every step of the way 🙌💕🙏
Your videos make me excited to become an RN currently going to school at my local community college and it's driving me nuts going to school. But your videos keep me motivated for that light at the end of the tunnel 💕
Hellooo from Australia! I'm 2.5 years into my nursing career and my boyfriend is currently studying medicine - he'll be an intern in 2023 and I'm very excited to see how things will be for us by then! Thank god nurses here don't do 12 hour shifts (at least not the ward where I work, though I did have to do a double shift once from 1pm till 7am the next day) - I don't know how you U.S nurses do it all the time 😭 Props to you guys x
My dad is a health inspector in India .In this pandemic sometimes I won't be getting good sleep so I will wake up and go to the kitchen for drinking water on that time almost at 2:00 am my dad will be awake and listing patients and doing other works and he have to go to hospital very early morning also.I always say him to sleep then he says to me I have some more work to do dear please go and sleep so I respect all the health workers in the world like doctors,Health inspectors, nurses everyone who work for us.Big Salute❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻
night shift's where its at, except for those 'mandatory' 10 am meetings to talk about how the unit can improve their patient satisfaction score from 95 upto 99, and also discussions on what size styrofoam cups to order
That dog deserves better guys, take him out in the morning too, if you can’t, take him to a day care, if that’s not option, find someone to take him out when you’re in the hospital. Do the right thing!!

As a nursing student (and later at work) in Norway we are not allowed to use make up, watches or any kind of jewelry. One only gets scrubs at the hospital and it's not allowed to get them home, and we have to use the hospital uniforms only.
