Hello Andrew, love that Daniel and the way he rushed to the rescue of your fall. Glad you were not injured. Grammie you are truly my hero with cooking for all the family members. I truly love all members of this family because they work so hard and in harmony with each other. Take care guys.
Joel was wiping zucchini and you were picking smaller cucumbers for a customer even though you made less money from those small cucumbers. That is the definition of customer service. Your customers can count on you to provide high quality at an affordable price. One of the many reasons I like your videos.
I saw a video by a farmer in Missouri. The drought conditions are so bad on his homestead that the cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini are hollow on the inside, even with a drip irrigation system. They are feeding their cattle winter hay because their pastures are dead. It really brought home how difficult farming can be. Many people take for granted that our food will always be at the market. I am very grateful for families like yours, Andrew!
Well said Ms Peach. I live near Lake Erie so we an abundance of water. Some People do take our farmers for granted , not realizing just how much work is involved in farming; vegetables and flowers, dairy cattle raising, chickens, pigs etc.
If it’s drip then it’s a seed/gene or nutrition problem. I did get some box store plants and they were horrible quality/wrong labeled peppers this yr. Our temps get into the hundred plus teens already hitting 108-110 each day water morning and night and plants grow crazy. If more hot I have to put weed cloth up so it doesn’t burn the leaves. We don’t have drip and but water on slow all night sometimes if plants need it.
@@calisingh7978 Gardening groups have been talking about poor germination rates on seeds this year. Some said they had issues last year, too. All the brands mentioned were multiple big brands. So I recommend using small brands only.
That would be Central Missouri to southern Missouri home we’ve been blessed northern Northeast Missouri . We were delayed about three weeks with crops in the Spring.
I was just about to say: "Watch out for that mud puddle!!" When you took a step backwards and slipped and fell right into it! 🤣 🤣 🤣 Don't feel bad that has happened to me many times in my 50 years of life!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 Especially the one time I was hunting with my late father, I was trying to cross a creek my foot hit a slick rock and I though I had good footing, well the rock rolled and I ended up in the creek!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 Yes dad stood there laughing at me! But I got him back a few years later when he was setting on his hunting chair and he bent forward to pick something up and just continued to go right on going face forward onto the ground!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 He says to me: "Are you going to set there and laugh at me all day or are you going to help me up?!!" I teased by saying: "What happened a deer sneak up behind you a push you over?!!" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Little miss Callie is by no means a "daddy's girl" naw...lol she just lights up when her daddy speaks to her. I love how yours truly is a family-operated farm and market.
Andrew, thank you for taking the time to talk to me and my family on Friday. My son wouldn't stop saying "buh bye" in the car when we left. Hopefully we can make another excuse to drive up your way and stock up on more produce! Sincerely, Chris, Sarah, and William
I love how Brian/Grandpa was so excited to show us the next round of blooms on the cucumbers...they sure are prolific. So good!!! It was super sweet that Daniel asked if you were alright after slipping in the mud..I mean, that was nice for a brother, right?!
"We're all losing it in the heat" -Except for Joel. He's the most stable one in the bunch! Padumtsss. 🥁 By the way, Andrew, I hope you appreciate that I'm literally the only one who hasn't mentioned you falling in the puddle. You're welcome. 😁
You guys are awesome. ❤ Andrew, you made me laugh so hard, and this is coming from somebody with many epic falls myself. 🤣 The clip of the fall was so dang funny. 🤣 I could tell you stories of my falls in the mud. lol Those peppers look great and Grammy, Grandpa and Callie swinging - priceless. 😁 💚💛💙
Hi Andrew and family. So glad I found your videos. It's been a little over a year since my son passed away your videos are the highlight of my week ❤. I did laugh when you fell in the mud. Been there done that. Tyvm again your family is awesome. Bless you all
Just picked tomatoes and cucumbers today. Glad you guy are doing well with what all you do. I know what you go through with the dry conditions. Keep on growing guys! God bless.
Nice to see the abundance! So many of the farming/ ranching channels I follow are really being hammered by the lack of rain. Lack of rain, no grass growing for cattle...high prices, etc...a lot of folks are really struggling right now.
I planted a cherry tomato variety called, "Sweet Million" and it sure lived up to it's name! Probably the sweetest, big grape-sized, cherry toms I've ever had. Out of two plants, we easily picked well over a grocery bag from each plant. Probably a good bag and a half. I'd say 10lbs to 15lbs per plant. I was glad to see them finish!
Great backward dive Andrew! Always love all your videos! Hope you all are getting some rain. You have a new worker, Tyler. How does he fit into the family? Keep the videos coming!!
Oh that puddle got you good. It was like watching a cartoon character spin out lol! Daniel seeing if you were ok was wonderful to see. Love watching your family work together.
Aunt Becky is a real treasure. I love her expressions. Great video partner. Let me see more Becky. On you, Hahahaha, just brutally great honest video. Put coffee grounds in those pots. Eaglegards...
Just love watching your videos fam🎊🎉🙌🙌 Your family is too funny, Just here laughing about your fall in the mud🤣🤣🤣sorry..but it was fun how everybody laughed about it,u inclusive
I bought Montauk corn seed last year after watching your videos. That has to be the best bicolor corn I’ve ever eaten. We will be growing it every year. Thanks
I have a marketing acronym that reminds me of your family quirk. In a positive way, been watching a good while now. All produce in the "Farm Market" which has been home grown by your family, should be labeled, "GOOFFY" And the acronym stands for, "Grown On Our Farm For You" Just seems to fit...? 👍🇬🇧😎🇱🇷👍m-E-m
Love your channel and absolutely love your daughter, she is soooo happy. I don’t know if you have mentioned on previous episodes but I am curious if year to year you record daily temperatures and “inches” of rainfall and amount of watering you have to do? Reason I ask is if you have better yields on some plants certain years maybe you can figure out if it’s temperatures, rainfall, seed type, mulch etc.
Had a good laugh at your "slip and slide" show earlier ... been wondering who was going to experience the first accident on film. Been watching you and your crew enjoying the fresh corn. Growing up we were not allowed to eat raw corn saying that would mess our stomachs. After my first experience with eating raw corn, I never ate it raw again; however, it did not stop me from eating boiled corn on the cob. It's been in season here for almost 2 months here and I have been thoroughly enjoying it and will for a while yet.
God bless you guys and all the other farmers and ranchers, with good, soaking rains, in Jesus' name. I've said it before, I'll say it again: you have a beautiful farm.
love, love, love watching you guys harvest!! a well-oiled machine!! what type of peppers were the first ones you picked? i like the sound of you picking them off the plant! 😬
Today is my baby's birthday he's 26 years old and has autism. He loves your Channel he watches it just like I do but he does not comment. He actually sits back and reads my comments LOL he is the most amazing person in the world he loves your farm and he has learned so much he actually tells me when I need to do in my garden LOL so everybody give a shout out to Casey for his birthday he deserves it. Casey was just watching your video he said Mama comment for me that I'm so glad their garden is doing great. You got to love this boy he's absolutely awesome❣️❣️🙏
@@theveggieboys Thank you so much for your reply it's the end of the day and you absolutely made it I showed Casey his comment this was the last one before he went to bed so y'all are absolutely awesome I appreciate you all so much. Casey said say hello to Grandpa and make sure you find his pants 😂 That's too much haha.
I just recently came across your channel & I'm so glad I did! Andrew, you are a natural in front of the camera & have such charisma, you could have your own TV show! You are truly blessed with a wonderful family, beautiful farm & adorable little girl, you must be so proud. I must admit I always wanted to be a crop farmer, it's so rewarding to plant seeds & watch your crops grow from the beginning to harvest. It was never in the cards for me I guess so I have to settle for my small backyard garden. I look forward to watching more of your video's so keep up the great work & God Bless!
Andrew I'm moving to Tennessee to become a veggie farmer. I have a question when it comes to organic fertilizers. What do you recommend for a good general fertilizer? 🤔
I started watching Joel at " Stable life" and saw you 🌝 started watching your videos and really enjoy them as well!! You boys are good boys!! Keep up the good work 👍👍
Andrew that was awesome!! Couldn't do that if you tried. Nice slip in the mud. This is what separate you from the rest of the RU-vidrs. Lol!! Sorry Andrew I had to play it back a couple of times. Priceless!!
I remember it was only 15k when I subscribed this channel. It’s good to see that your channel is keep on growing. I’m one of your silent viewers. God bless you and your whole family 🙏
Sorry Andrew but I laughed, that was better then where's my pants(grandpa). Thank you to all of your family for great entertainment and lots of knowledge. One of the best shows on the internet.
On a RU-vid video I saw some farmers in India using solar panels in their fields to run their irrigation system. I don't know if it would work for you and suppose initial set up would be expensive. Might be worth considering with gas prices as they are.
excellent video again, i like the bamboo shoots, they taste good, keep up the excellent videos and get your farm the way you like it🥰❤ ! And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
The hazards of farming, those mud puddles will get you every time. I'm glad you're okay, Andrew. You are a good sport because you could have edited that part out.
