The way I see it is " every country does terrible things at one point or another. But how and when will vary depending on unfathomable numbers of choices and actions occurring as time goes on. Some countries do small bad things all the time, some do them in short, sharp bursts...Like Germany. To use a cake analogy, a country like China would calculate the exact minimum to feed the rich and then sell cake merch to everybody else. Germany is more like a hangry hormonal teenager, the cake is gone! But now everything is over and done!!!! No country has a moral high ground, sturdy enough to judge others. (I love Germany, I grew up there as a child).

The difference, of course, being that Germany was brazen about it and that's why they're singled out.

@@ChrisLawton66 None of us were around during the time any of this happened, also there was no computers, internet or world-wide connectivity. The reason it's important to point that out is because we rely only on the reporting of our respective countries. In the UK newspapers agreed to only report allied wins and villify the whole of Germany. This was to uplift the population and ensure compliance to the war efforts. Propaganda was everywhere and governments had a tight grip on the truth and the press. In the USA post-war reporting suggests the country's war contributions were a 'beacon of feel-good unity and patriotism'. However, the country was hugely divided with a government whose politics lined up very closely to Hitler's. There was huge racial tensions and the country was in politics. Charles Lindbergh gave a political speech in which he stated "Racial strength is vital, politics is a luxury.” Urging listeners to close ranks with Germany in a common struggle against “Asiatic intruders”-Russians, Persians, Turks and Jews-who would defile America’s “most priceless possession: our inheritance of European blood" The Associated Press actually made a deal with Hitler to obtain images taken by the German Military for their articles (which were reviewed by the German military before publication). This deal only came to light a few ago! The whole western world were writing about Hitlers rise, years before the war broke out. Winston Churchill described it as the "avoidable war" and stated “How the English-speaking peoples through their unwisdom, carelessness, and good nature allowed the wicked to rearm and undertake the ventures, that led to the war." The point of this response it to point out that whilst Germany may have seemed Brazen, all countries involved failed to prevent a war that was predictable. This was because racist and fascist sentiment was rife throughout the western world at the time. The blame for the atrocities should be spread much further than the German borders. Never not forget history is written by the victors.

As Ren so wisely said, we must never forget that we are all human beings. Every country is made up of human beings, and we are the only species on this planet that devises new and ever more horrible ways to torture and kill our own kind, and we will always be at war with each other other. Too bad we’re at the top of the food chain. This planet was a wonderful place until we fucked it up.

Ren doesn't appear psychotic. Good analysis otherwise.

@@ChrisLawton66 i think the "psychotic" was more refeering to The Story of him just Kidnapping someone. you remove the name and song and hear the story without it would sound like a phychotic person. someone Kidnapped, forced them to do things, psychologically torturing them, leacturing and singing them/himself about money and immigrents and in the end burning himself alive.

@@ChrisLawton66 I don't know what it takes for you to label someone psychotic but notice in this video. Ren (dressed in all black) has a hostage tied to a chair about to pull a trigger. Then, puts gloves on and grabs a bat while singing and dancing to smash his skull in. After that, he decides death by fire shall be the route of execution, not the victim's, but his own. ;) Edit: Although, some "Psycho's" will tell you they are the most sane person in the world...

Internets a wild place, mischaracterization or not seeing something from someone elses view can cloud how we Respond to people and Snowball into things. hence why i said "i think" All good in the end. You're on the money friend.... Pun intended. We are of similar ilk as my experience and observation upon reflection is pretty close to that of your own. I navigated my way through a number of levels within the money game. Foremost part with my integrity and moral fibre intact. Every new rung revealed a little bit more of how strings are pulled on the next floor above. Without a word being said it didn't take genius to know what you must do to get to the next step. A little less human being and a lot more inhumane get's you places in the old money game. Spinning a regional dictator by his neck tie and requesting in a rather raised manner that he join me outside old school style during our lavish Corporate Christmas party was apparently deemed inappropriate behaviour? Was invited to attend an early morning meeting where I was to apologise directly and learn what disciplinary actions I would face. Hmmm, I did do it on the night, but I had just witnessed him drunkenly berate a young female staffer at the top of his lungs, poking his finger into her chest whilst doing so. This all happening in front of literally a hundred plus staff, middle of a dancefloor no-one now dancing, watching though, some even laughing no-one interjecting. Well some did interject, when it became apparent the big boss was in danger. Managers around the same level as me, attempted to subdue me. They were offered the same courtesy as my boss the regional director was. No-one accepted but security had arrived and I was asked to leave so i did. Attended the meeting, HR present, as well as some witnesses. Those managers who stepped in. A statement was read detailing my actions, reactions and interactions and then was asked if I have anything to say. I said the offer still stands and some other choice words and it was there and then I realised what was expected of me to proceed further into the money game. I run that company now.......... Just kidding, but it was the start of me awakening to reality. That was in 2010. I don't advocate for or enjoy violence. Never have, but how much can we really ignore. Much love and peace friend. A full analysis on the music video for Pt. 1: The kidnapped individual was a 'defendant' in a 'trial' with the psychotic Ren accusing him and acting as Judge/Jury/Executioner. Ren's character, through the song, goes on to explain the individual's crime: being part of a money game - a twisted game where people are divided and suffering for the sake of wealth. People who are willing to exploit their peers get ahead, and other are forced to do bad things for survival. Each time he gets close to exacting punishment and killing his victim, he stops to continue explaining more ways we twist our lives for that wealth. He even symbolically draws eyes on the head sack to signify that the victim isn't blind to it: the captor has 'opened his eyes'. He has no excuse and deserves this punishment of death. Finally, with one final attempt to do the deed, Ren's character realized the futility of what he's doing. Looking in the mirror, as per the lyrics, he is also part of the money game. And so, he puts aside his holier attitude and burns himself to death instead. As he said, as assuredly as the whole world turns while playing this game, the whole world burns as well. I have read this message I am sharing once and feel obligated to share it where ever needed.

@@mistyramsey1840 I found it posted by another user and I found it profound and on point; in my opinion. Being that Ren is VERY public on Twitch and responding on RU-vid to comments as well. Personally, I FEEL as if it was something from Ren personally as I have saw him comment and set the record straight on a couple videos as well as usually a description on the video itself on his personal RU-vid. Unfortunately like most I am late to Ren finding him the past 2 months. However, the fans that have known him for years have heard him speak on many things, I feel this is one of them. I have NOT did research to confirm but feel it to be true in my heart. ;)

@Reactive Replays I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and get on Twitch. I've avoided social media as much as possible but I really would like to hear more from Ren himself, his music has helped me immensely in the work I'm doing on myself, even just getting into discussions with people about the music has changed me.

His ability to act, sing, write, produce, play instruments, connect, and relay a message... THE Bard of our time!
