Thanks for sharing. I was on a trail w UBB when my Bronco 2022 started leaking coolant. Nobody could figure it out. Took it to a mechanic and all he did was replace the cap!!! Faulty cap. Ford doesnt want to reimburse me for that mishap!
Did you find out any more info on this problem? Have other people had this problem? kind of scary since I go out in the back country a lot and I’ve had one issue with my bronco raptor at about 3000 miles or the lines that run to the front axles one of the lines was cracked and hitting about 50 mph the axle was trying to connect with made a very loud metal to metal rubbing noise, The dealer had it for five days I actually had to go into the dealer myself talk to the mechanic tell him what to look for then he found the crack it was an easy fix but a hassle but what happened to you would be a bit scary out in the back country. 👍
I'm right there with ya. My 2021 Bronco left me on the side of the freeway 2 weeks ago. Fuel pump went out. It sat at the dealership for 2 week before anyone looked at it due to them being "short staffed". Finally looked at it on Friday. They ordered a new fuel fump but they have no eta on when the part will be available.
Sorry about the fuel sensor.... Last September I had about an hour at the top by myself and my drone... I got lots of good "Top of the World" shots. I did it with 40psi... Turned off at the bridge, drove up, drove down and headed back to West Virginia. 😅
Unfortunate……but, Most ppl would wish to have these problems and that raptor. All about prospective, and certainly looks like you took it in stride. Good for u, and keep the videos coming! 👍🏼
Assuming that replacing the sensor fixes it, then it was definitely just defective. I’m still slightly concerned that it could be a wiring issue, we’ll know that if it still happens with a new sensor.
"No ETA" = sounds like every other part in the Ford parts catalog. Ford's service parts organization is an utter mess. Sorry this happened and hope your part comes in sooner than later.
Technically, it was one bronco with an aftermarket lift kit that was squeaking like crazy, the new bronco’s at stock height or with a quality lift didn’t squeak at all.
This is why Jeep Wranglers are King. Too much experience, heartbreaks, joy, failures, etc... since 1941. I like the Bronco, but i will never buy one for now until after a decade of experiences. Wait until more parts and other problems fail. It's so new to the community that even manufacturers have no idea on what the design is capable of or fail to manage. It's a great concept and great looking vehicle....just not enough experience , so don't be part of an experiment and waste your money. Get a Jeep Wrangler with so much experience on this types of lifestyle, then switch to Bronco someday once they find what the problems are.
