who doesn't love some nostalgic childhood food, right? well, i don't apparently. actually i'd say it was about half and half. half of them were amazing. half of them made me wish i were but a victorian peasant child living off of the land.
also sorry the video AND audio quality in this video is... sad. oops
anyway what's up. happy holidays and new year season. i'm done with the semester, obviously. whooooo. i'm still recovering ngl. so i think with that i'm gonna go watch some tv and bask in my lack of academic responsibilities. ok bye

In Italy we had our version of lunchables. They were called "la merenda di Paolo" (Paolo's snack) or something like that. Ham&cheese on crackers. I think they still sell them, it's just something I've stopped noticing when I go get groceries - until now. I will definitely take a look next time.

It’s quite a trip going from like a 12 year old watching RU-vidrs who are like in their 20s to being a 19 year old watching other 19 year olds who apparently all had the same childhood as me Also watching you pour the danimals into a glass instead of drinking it out of the container triggered something in me that I did not like

Watching this as a non-American is so funny because I've barely heard of any of these before, and we have none of them where I live. That does seem to check out, though. Sometimes we import American staples like pop tarts and such, and they're never as good as they're made to seem.

@@monith9496 I have no idea how being called Pop Tarts has anything to do with a toaster. Is it about how the toaster lowers stuff as it heats them and then raises them after? Is that the pop? I have actually tried them toasted, though. They were very, very sugary, but overall decently good. Pretty sure that's the only American thing that I'm kind of familiar with, though.

I used to have this kid in my 7th grade debate class who was my brownie dealer. I’d pay him like a buck a day to get one of those mf brownies. Then supposedly either the brownies contained something bad to consume or the industry was bad. Whatever it was, for some reason he stopped selling them. Which was probably a good thing, but I was so heart broken.
