In today's vlog we head to Disney's Contemporary Resort to have a Valentines's Day dinner at Steakhouse 71! We try the french onion soup, bacon and eggs, the delicious bread, filet and the stack burger! Everything was so good! Definitely recommend Steakhouse 71 for breakfast, lunch or dinner, everything was good! We headed into Magic Kingdom for a ride a little bit of the fireworks after dinner. The next day we had a bit of a rough morning and a little concern with wether or not my water broke, so we went to the hospital just to check everything out and be totally sure that everything was okay. Everything was fine, the baby is healthy and I'm okay too. I'm so happy it was nothing to worry. Thank you for being here during this pregnancy journey, we really appreciate all of the support! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

I was a labor and delivery nurse. Don't ever feel bad about going in there to get things checked out. Seriously, please go if you think any little thing is off!!! Also, my water DID break right after I went to the bathroom. I was done, stood up and then a HUGE, HUGE gush of water came out. It was unmistakable! So much was coming out that I had to stuff a regular sized bath towel down my pants to go to the hospital. lol BUT, sometimes your water can break and it will just be a little wetness in your underwear, but it will not stop. You'd say change your underwear and then it would be wet again. Anyway, WHEN IN DOUBT CHECK IT OUT!!!!!! Baby boy is probably now engaged. That means you will start dilating and effacing. Get those rooms finished!

Yes that happened to me. A tiny gush then small amounts constantly. Went the hospital as I wasn’t due for a month and a half. They said it wasn’t my waters. It was as a day later I went into labour. In the uk you can buy products to check if it amniotic fluid now. Very useful.

I want to praise Jen for always being very open about such personal info. There are so many things about women’s bodies that no one talks about. I think it’s so important to normalize talking about our health so that people don’t feel weird or shy about it and about seeking medical care. I’ve learned so much about pregnancy from watching your videos.

Working in the medical field, I honestly hope that the first two nurses you experienced were not trying to belittle your feelings, but just didn’t realize how they were coming across. Never feel silly about things like this, call and go in, THAT IS WHY WE ARE THERE!!!! ❣️

You were smart to go into the hospital. I have four children and they came into the world all different ways and all varieties of being LATE to arrive! Tim is right. The baby isn’t moving much because he is getting into position. I never felt my water break…in fact, only one time I felt a bit wet for a few weeks which was probably a leak. One of my daughters was born without hardly any amniotic fluid, so I can’t even recall when the leaking happened. And I was diligent and hyper aware constantly. I was induced twice and 2 children were on their own time. All of my kids were “late”…9 days, 6 days, 11 days and 14 days…it’s good to get the ball moving like you are planning, as long as the baby is ready. Be well and blessings to you and your family. ❤️

So happy everything was good with baby and you. As a mom/baby nurse never hesitate ever to go in. Like Tim said you can never be too sure. I always tell all my pregnant moms better to go in and have it be nothing. Don't second guess yourself ever, and don't let any nurse make you feel wrong or silly for taking care of you and the baby! 💙💙 also my water breaking felt like a rubber band popped or broke and some water gushed out.

Jenn, never feel bad for getting checked out. I’ve been made to feel like that before and it’s a horrible feeling but you must follow your gut! You know your body best❤️also, when my water broke with my first pregnancy I woke up to a wet bed, thinking I’d peed the bed😂 it then proceeded to trickle out. No huge gush of water for me like I’d imagined. Enough to definitely wet my pants though, the nurse told me to come in with a towel between my legs and I didn’t think I’d need quite that amount of padding but turns out I did. Definitely more than a maxi pad can hold for me. I know it’s different for all.

Jackson's giggles literally give me life. Just a personal piece of info, my water did break while going to the bathroom, it felt like a balloon pop and there was some gush followed by limited leaking. I went so many times to the hospital while pregnant that I’m sure the staff was like “oh no not this lady AGAIN!!” 😂. Don’t feel bad, as you said, you would feel so guilty for NOT checking it out in case something was truly wrong! For the water breaking, mine was a lot of water that just kept coming out, best way to describe it is when you have a heavy period and you feel it coming out but there’s no sensation related to it, you just start feeling “oh something is coming out of me”. Much love ❤

This is the best description I’ve seen. Feels like a super heavy period, nothing you can do to stop it and gushes if you stand up or change position. 😂 I was laying in my hospital bed, felt a pop in my belly, thought “that was weird”, then when I rolled over the flood came. 😅

To answer the question of what does it feel like when your water breaks, for me I had an odd sensation and instantly knew what was happening even with it being my first child. I was in bed and had barely enough time to get out of the bed before a huge gush and there is no stopping it and after the initial gush it does tend to trickle for a while.

Hi Jen! When I was pregnant at the age of 27 and my water did break but it was just a slow leak and I knew it did. I just went back to sleep and got up in the next morning got ready and then I could really feel like it was coming out, not gushing, but more than just a drizzle. You will definitely know and when I got there they did the test and they’re like yeah your water broke I was told during my birthing class that I didn’t end up finishing because I went to labor that if your water breaks like that, you’re good to go in when it starts being more rapid. But then when I got there, the nurse wasn’t very happy that I had waited. Anyways, all turned out good and I’m glad that you listened to your body because that’s what you always need to do, even just for peace of mind💕

I was taught that the best person who knows their body the best is the patients, regardless what is in the record, ask the patient first. Glad everything is okay! 😊

Jenn, I'm sorry you and Tim had a rough morning. I was a nurse for many years did some OB and mostly ER. I have to say that you do know your body best and that if you do have anything that feels different then the norm it's always a good thing to go and get checked out. That way you're at the right place to be observed and checked so if there's anything that needs done it can be and if everything checks out okay then having peace of mind is so worth it! You and Tim are most likely right that he's shifted and is getting into better position for when delivery time comes along. I wish you and baby boy health continued good health. I like your birth plan.

Always go in. You are never being silly or overreacting. It’s ALWAYS better to be safe and check things out. I’m so glad everything is okay! Hoping for a smooth rest of pregnancy and delivery when he’s ready to come! ❤️❤️

Thank you for being so open about your pregnancy! We’re technically all strangers so the fact that you share it all with us is so kind! I think during my pregnancy I went to the hospital 3-4 times total being worried or scared that something was wrong and they always told me that it was good I came in just incase. You should never be scared to go in and get checked and the nurses should have been slightly more considerate! It’s always better to be on the safe side! Hopefully baby comes soon and is happy and healthy!!

Jenn (coming from a nurse here) don’t ever feel silly about going to the hospital. That last nurse was right. We’d rather you come in and it be nothing than not and it be something. You know your body better than anyone else!😊

Glad to hear everything is ok. You were so smart to head to the hospital. Like the nurse said, you know your body and it felt different. Pregnancy can be very scary whether it is your first or fifth time. Always go with your gut feeling and thank you so much for sharing your personal journey. There are so many women that need to hear that they should do as you did and do what they feel is the best decision for their baby. Wishing you a swift labor!! 😊😊

My belly definitely changed all of a sudden right at the end, I was told he had moved down and was closer to the cervix. I was so surprised, because I suddenly felt like I had so much more room in my abdomen, I could breathe again! But yeah, it was definitely a weird sensation a bit alarming. I'm glad you went to the doctor, there is NO SHAME EVER in double checking. No need to feel silly, you did the exact right thing. You are your best advocate, never forget that!

Definitely sounds like the baby dropped into position. Hey, you should always go if you feel nothing is right. My husband's cousin (with her first baby) felt something wasn't right and that she needed to go right then to the hospital. Her baby wasn't moving and she felt the urgency. Well, they lived right down the road from one. She was about 37 weeks along and when they checked her out they said the baby was only 4 pounds, the placenta was starting to deteriorate and that he was barely alive. Another hour, he would have been stillborn! They did an emergency c-section and he was 4pounds, 4 oz. He has some breathing issue that resolved after a few days and he was ok, thank God. It is always smart to get checked out if you think something isn't right. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Glad your baby is fine.

Please Please don't feel silly Jen. I went to the doctor's because I just felt something was wrong. The Doctor assured me I was fine and I ended up having a 2nd trimesters miscarriage. Please stick with what you feel and know..Take it easy and anytime you feel something go with your instincts. Praying for you guys!

I had a c-section with my first so also didn't know what the water breaking feeling was. I woke up in the morning having to pee so bad. I rushed to the bathroom and felt so much water gush out. I stood up and it just kept trickling down. I also sat there and googled. Once I realized it wasn't stopping, I headed to the hospital. Sure enough my water had broke. You know your body more than anyone! I'm so glad you went to get checked out. Sending so much love ❤️

My water broke while I was in bed. I woke up thinking oh my gosh, I peed the bed, LOL I sat on the toilet and it just poured out and wouldn't stop. I had to fold up a small towel to put in my pants in order to make it to the hospital. I had no contractions until they started to induce me. This was with my first child and I had her natural. My water broke at around 6 in the morning and I had her at 9:16 that night. It felt so strange when my water broke. I'm so happy things are good!!
