Hey to everyone!!
We are two young adults, Despina 22 and Deivids 23 renovating an old farm house from 1817 in Latvia. Everything in and out of our house has been done by ourselves with no hired help. Soooo far everything is going great and there haven't been any incidents.
DIY is going to apply to nearly everything in our house. Our budget is tight and that has made us appreciate every "ugly" part of this house and turn it into something new and beautiful.
We give new life to things that others would throw away!
In this journey we are not alone! We are starting up our little Farmily and part of it are
3 goats
1 Mom Sheep & 2 Baby Sheep
4 chickens
1 rooster
and 2 geese
Oh yeah and my cat Ivi
Despite our daily problems we are two young people full of joy and happiness, ready to start a new crazy chapter in our life. It wouldn't be fair to keep this fun for us!
that's why we want YOU to be also part of our Farmily!!

Love this. I always dyed eggs for my kids with food coloring. It was very interesting to see other ways to do it. Again, you are so smart. Love the daily videos. I know it is a lot of work so just wanted to let you know that we appreciate what it takes to get these out. I look forward to each one. Love you both!!

I happened upon your channel by accident early yesterday! I watched the one where you had just bought and seen your house for $12 thousand dollars. I couldn’t believe you were actually going to try to renovate it. I watched the renovation unfold- and was shocked at how hard y’all worked and how wonderful you have made it!!!! Loved this, brought back some wonderful memories of my family Easters, we would hunt in different age groups from the toddlers, up to the elderly. It was always an all day Native American festive Easter. (We would play, Indian games & make Indian food too eat, from back in the old days, like 200yr old games)

Very clever, is there anything you guys can't do? You're both such an adorable couple, so hard working, know so much and like to have fun, the perfect mix lol. I'm curious in the differences between a Latvian and a Greek Easter, in the UK we do good Friday where you eat fish and then, on the Sunday people eat roast lamb oh and chocolate Easter eggs are a huge money maker lol, everyone buys Easter eggs! in fact anything easter or spring related in the shape of a chick, rabbit or even duck made out of chocolate is associated with Easter, we even have Easter trees nowadays, omg that is a bit silly but I can see why the companies who make these things really want people to buy. We also eat Simmnel cake although I have never seen one in real life or tasted but it's a thing. In my native Poland fish on the Friday but not sure if anything else is eaten, I was brought up in a non Catholic house and in England so not always sure of the tradition of what to eat on which holiday etc.. Anyway, lovely to see your little table of Easter treats and the little biscuits were so cute. ☺️

You are so creative with your coloring. If I may suggest beets. It has very deep, bright red color. And mint is gray color. Deivid you're quite an acrobat. That's one tight rope and strong tree branch. Fun, fun. You're one happy couple who love, care and work together with joy even when things get rough.

Deivids monkeyman. :D Coloring eggs like that is done in Norway too. Not much but sometimes. :) We make egghunts like that too. However haha just for the children. :D We have a saying here that one dont have more fun than one make yourself. Wich is true whatever age. This was a lot of fun to watch. I think I might torture my sweetooth partner with a egghunt next easter. He loves sweets. Make him work for it. Hehheeee. :D Ice cold spring wind is reaaly cold. Sucks because one really want to go outside when it is sunny. Nice hairdo for you Despina. :D

I use onion skins as well! I save old hose, cut them into six inch tubes tie one end, cover the raw eggs in skins and tie the other end so that it holds the skins around the egg. They look like marble.

Love this guys! Made our Lithuanian Easter eggs yesterday in Ireland. I (Michela) lost every time...I feel the Eastern European’s have the upper hand compared to us Mediterranean’s 😂🥚
