Yes, they are expensive. The lights lagging behind the train is actually better because it illustrates movement as opposed to being constantly illuminated.

Actually, its not a Die Hard Movie Set. The cinema is the O Scale Elektra Theatre from Atlas Model Trains. The building comes with letters that you can use to customize the marquee with whatever movies, actor's names, etc. that you want on there. Die Hard is a Christmas Movie, so that was a easy choice for me. The Starbucks is from the Menards home improvement store chain. They carry their own in-house brand of model train items and also ship nationwide (nearest store is over 1,000 miles from where I live.
