We cook up breakfast in our Patio Villa and then take a final golf cart ride to Brownwood Paddock Square. Lunch at Island Fin Poke (Dole Whip Happy Hour), shop for The Villages Logo Merch before checking out live music and a rainy golf cart ride back. Isn't it an amazing place! I have a friend that lives there so I get to visit often. We are renting in April 2024 and I can hardly wait! Pick out a fabulous home, a great golf cart, hit the multi modle, get lost, and fine your way home! Someone will always be ready to give you directions! Congratulations!

Wish you both the best on your journey to becoming Villagers. We were fortunate to be able to purchase the exact home we wanted last year which is an Avondale model courtyard villa in the exact area we wanted to live which is south St. Johns. We could not be happier especially leaving the cold snowy winters of R.I. behind. 🌞

I loved the video I love to see more of this place other town squares and more places in the villages. I love you guys wish I could move there but Im only 45 it's seems like perfect place to live. Good luck buying house there I would love to see different models of homes you can buy .

We’ve been here 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. We bought in May, but we’re going to be “snowbirds”. Not going back up north until April. You passed our house many times. We’re in Newell and our lanai faces Meggison. You should have waved at us 👋🏻 Safe travels home. Good stuff. 👍🏻 Enjoyed it.

Your videos gave a good perspective on what to expect for a visit. Were you able to do everything you wanted in the few days you were there? You also seemed to have learned the multi modal paths pretty quickly.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this part of our TV experience. On to the next chapter of this journey! No we did not get to do everything (but we did almost everything). In hindsight we should have stayed the full 7 nights. This place can be overwhelming at first but once you learn the major intersections and landmarks it’s pretty easy to navigate (especially with GPS and the official TV app).

Pick a village and take your time finding a house. I bought preowned South of 44 in Linden and got all the upgrades. Not new but only 2 years old when I bought it. Hope to see you around the Villages when you get here.😀😃

We are in your last day video. You were in the Logo store at Brownwood Square. We were watching your video on UTube on your final day and saw Doug in his blue Villages cap. I saw my step daughter in your video and I saw my hair and blue cap. I hope you get our comments. Did you actually purchase. Your videos are awesome. We will be doing the Lifestyle Experience in December. We just happened to be in The Logo Store when u filmed visiting relatives and were really surprised to see us there on your video. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. GoPro Hero 10 and an iPhone 14 Pro Max. All shot and uploaded in 4K. I also have a Canon DSLR but very rarely use it anymore.

sorry I havent watched all your videos yet ,but will ask here, did you use the Villages App Map to get around, or did you just wing it. I cant imagine not using some sort of guidance to avoid getting lost every 5 minutes in such a large place. Thanks for sharing about your stay. We our doing our in March 2024, along with OTOTW and Stone Creek.

Yes you can easily get lost in The Villages. We used The Villages app for navigating on the golf cart and then used Google Maps when driving in our car. Good luck on your upcoming visits. Hope you find the best place for you!

I'm a younger person who lives in the surrounding area. I ride my bike in the Villages. In the summer all the full yesr villagers wave at me w big smiles everyone says hello. When October comes and all the snow birds from ohio, Michigan NY and NJ come I get mostly dirty looks, scowels and general unfriendlyness. Amazing how the vibe changes when all the nasty northerners come down. And dont even get me started how the vibes on the road changes. The Villages could be a nicr place if it wasn't for the people from the north who bring their negative energy w them. Bless their hearts

Yep… After 4 years on the road it is time to close out our full time RV chapter of life. I think there are some older homes that have RV garages. Not sure how big they are but we will check them out and do a video once we are full time at TV. We are putting our RV and both of our Florida RV lots for sale (one with a 400 sf casita coach house) in the next week or so.

I love everything I've watched on RU-vid about the villages. Such an active and full of life community. I wish you the best of luck in your hunt for a new home in the villages. There will be many new adventures for both of you in the villages! BTW my RV is a 21' van so I only need a 10-12' tall garage door and 25-30 deep RV garage.
