My uncle was the drummer. They weren't upset that they weren't massive because they refused to sign a 360 deal which most stars do which helps make you blow up to #1 right away. Lil Nas x for example; it was all the 360 and record play due to signing the deal. All they cares about was their fans enjoying their music and they all loved playing and seeing a huge crowd, which most of their shows did sell out. They had many fans but if you go up to a random person and ask if they know of Saliva, they may say no. They wanted to be big enough for people to find and hear their music but the whole Hollywood red carpet stuff, they had no interest. Especially the guitarist (forgot his name). They made alright money but nothing huge. Bands don't make money like that even hit bands. They all made decent money and the record label fucked them over and they were left with almost nothing. People can purchase their music still. My dad's brother now just plays locally with people around town, in his 50s now. Yes I met the other band members, I was only a kid but they were cool af. This was late 90s and I'm only 29 so I was small ; ha. But I remember well. thanks for watching this. I'm not being biased, their music is actually amazing. The best music is music most people never hear.
They're still around and the new singer DEFINITELY deserves his flowers. All the new albums are GOD tier. Give the song "How to be Human" a try. Promise the audience will love it. It's my favorite song right now. Much love 💖
Always is another banger from Saliva. Lead Singer Josie Scott also did a collaboration with the frontman from Nickelback on the Spiderman soundtrack Hero.
Showing my age a bit, but, I saw them live in 2007. Seven Mary Three, Kitty, Daughtry, SevenDust, Saliva, Puddle of Mudd and some I can't remember now, all under one roof in one night... Was an absolutely insane show.
So from what I have understood, this song is about loving music! It’s about the old-school stereos you would click the power button then you would hear the click of the amplifier turning on And then the boom of the music blaring out! Always love this song and there’s several great ones from saliva! You guys need to do some drowning pool step up and if you have not done bodies that would be great
I remember back in the day when these guys were on the local buzz out of Nashville as an up and coming group XD Tennessee locals, starting low, going big. They were always one of my favorite bands growing up
Been watching a lot of Y’all’s reviews the past two days, gotta say you guys actually react to the right songs . There’s so many songs I wanna see you guys react to lol . Deftones, goo goo dolls, foo fighters . My favorite song since I was little has always been everlong by the foo fighters Dave is a super talented artist and drummer .
The young teenager guy in the video was my double look alike of me back 20 yrs ago, when I was 15, exact time when I heard this and bought the CD of it, This song strikes us all with a good chord, ' it's all inside of me!' Still to this day.
Still dig me some Saliva! Another hit of theirs is Always, song I like by them are Your Disease, Greater Than/Less Than, Back Into Your System, Rest in Pieces. Any of those would be good to listen to I think! Keep on rockin!
I love how diverse your playlist is. The best variety of any reactors on you tube. Good for you guys, and thank you. You should check, "Slipknot - opium of the people"for you next Slipknot reaction.
If you like this from Saliva. Did you both see The Fast and The Furious?🏎️💨💨💨 Then you have to hear the song- "Superstar"! They played it in that part where Brian & Dom was in that strawberry red Supra, racing that arrogant douchebag in that Mercedes.😂 Dom said, "smoke him" & Paul Walker/O'Connor did just that! 😎
Whenever I hear “S&M” I think of a certain non family friendly thing, but with how much I watch you two it’s starting to get the meaning you intended (Which is probably a good thing lol) 😅
Hey S&M, subscriber and fan. I would love to see a reaction to my favorite song ever, Found Out About You by The Gin Blossoms. They had some rock hits in the 90's (Hey Jealousy is another popular one). It is the lyrics of Found Out About You that will really hit you. A song about being betrayed, lied to, cheated on...something nearly all of us can relate to. Thanks and keep up the great reactions!
