@@alexachipman Ok... it's official: I'm geeking out! 🤓 Thank you for that gem!! That show got me through undergrad. Whenever I feel down or the pressures of post grad studies start weighing down, it's LotS and Hercules that get me through it -- they're both just SO uplifting! If you haven't seen the Hercules series, or know its back story, it's basically an entire series based on Hercules while he's training with Phil (the montage in the film) and in academy. His 2 besties, Cassandra and Icarus are GOALS. There's no strict continuity. They were really having fun with this series. Adore it. Couldn't find it anywhere back in the day. Reached out to Disney about it before Disney+, and they wrote back saying they were making it available "a different way" and to "stay tuned." At the time, thought it was a polite dismissal. Two years later, there it was, in all its upscaled, streaming glory. That's all to say *with syllabic finger wag*: Don't take it for granted! 😇

@@alexachipman Loved the series (w/ Gosling) and films (w/ Bohen). Both did great jobs, respectively. Random story: Was bedridden most winters as a child (bc I played in the snow negligently underdressed and contracted high fevers). That's how I got introduced to the Hercules TV movies, then subsequent spin-off series, remembered Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert as producers... fast forward, I must have gone through over half of LotS (always catching the second half of each ep), and I'd have it on mute because I was studying. It was just on in the background. One day I catch it from the beginning, muted, glance up on occasion, see the opening credits, BOOM: Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert. Unmute, click. Books down. No regrets. I've wanted daughters ever since named Cara, after the LotS character, and Aeon, after Aeon Flux (the series, film meh). I'm such a nerd, lol If you haven't seen Aeon Flux, you're in for a treat, especially if you study theology. Gnostic-influenced. To know it was made by the guy behind Rugrats makes it that much MORE enjoyable. This is all in good fun. Please don't feel like I'm inundating you homework!
