and does it have a cup holder? Had a Kubota at my old job with one in the fender. I'd put my thermos of coffee in there. Different job and i'm wishin the tractor i'm riding on in the hayfield had a cup holder for my water bottle. Then again you guys probably won't be on it for hours at a time either.
Congratulations to the machine / Loader ownership :) As a friend usually signs his messages "What cannot be done with machines is not worth doing" :) So it will be interesting to follow your adventures with this one :)
I am pretty sure that its going to last long on our use and if not then we have lot of content coming about issues and fixing them :D Luckily I am pretty good mechanic :D
We have been given a jig boring machine, one catch, we have to move it. You're really lucky having such a useful machine. We're using an engine hoist and splitting the borer in two. Your machine would pop it into the trailer in one piece.
I'm envious that it's cool enough there to wear jackets in the evening. It's 10:45 p.m. here, and still in the 90s--for both temperature and % humidity. The poor get their saunas in the summer! =D
You bought "the floor model" (because it sits on the sales floor - the area where you have samples that the customers choose from) also known as a "demo" or "demonstrator" when it's used to physically demonstrate what it can do. Good deal - very thrifty.
Cool machine, and I'm thinking that you guys will figure out things to do with that universal package... Can't wait for your full moving report! I'll have a pizza ready to watch that one ;-)
The one maintenance thing you need to do is changing the hydraulic oil as required by the manual and also keep in mind that even with little use the hydraulic hoses will eventually get brittle and start to leak. And always keep the joints lubricated with grease, very important! You should get a dedicated grease gun witha supply of grease for the front loader nearby. But other than that the machine should last a long time.
I have driven one of those at work for some time. I think it is going to be perfect for your needs but you need to expect some problems with it. The quality isnt exactly the best 😅
I was also surprised by the size, which is strange as I saw the thumbnail but I pictured something else (larger than I thought, quite a bit larger). When I used to operate wheel loaders the volvo L50E felt like a toy compared to the larger i drove but the L50E would take 2.5 of these in its big bucket (weight wise). But yeah I could see myself having one of these when I buy a house so looking forward to an honest opinion of it when you've used it for some time :)
Same colored paint as John - Deere. Overall if it keeps running ok think you guys made a good choice for your very first “big boy/girl loader machine” 👍👍👍
Considering that China builds more infrastructure than any other country I assume their construction machines are at least decent. But the cabin is clearly made for small chinese people and not large europeans.
Mmmm I think you will. Those vehicles are brilliant. I am sure in a few weeks your husband will say. "Honey should have bought a bigger tractor." Thank you for your message. Please blow more stuff up. Love you both
Fuel light is burning will go to my vocabulary immediately! 🤣 Extremely funny, because it actually means the fuel light is on fire and it's so finnish to say it like that instead of "lit up" or something 😅
You will get to know the tractor fast, braking problems, rust, and electrical problems. Snakes will also rot, so you will get a leak. Lots of vibration, and a lot of noise. But yes, it is cheap (for a reason), and handy at least. :)
To me, anything from a lawn mower to big farm equipment is ALL a "tractor" so I think you're fine, Anni. Getting into construction equipment changes though, for me personally.
Growing up in Pennsylvania, my GranDad had a farm, and every year we'd go out in the fields and help him collect the hay bales. He had 2 tractors. The smaller one was a Massey Ferguson and the big one was a John Deere. Both were of the 5 Million category, so yeah... pretty good. :-D
