He is Alive, in Him we live and survives Amen. I can't even stop listening to this beautiful song in this situation.... (Covid 19),thumps up with me if you agree 👍
This one is a classic. I’m 19 years old, and I remember singin’ this one loud back in the day. Songs like this will never die in my heart. Songs like this make me feel closer to my Heavenly Father. Thanks a bunch
All of this artists music is amazing. A one man quartet, BEAUTIFUL!!!! He takes me back to a time when this type of singing was the norm; and he does it all by himself. I will be 77 years old this year and he takes me back to age 17 when our choirs sang with such joy. Thank you from my ❤. May our wonderful Father continue to bless you and your music.
Dawn Graham - Your response reminds me of the time when at age four I asked my mom if it was true that He’s got the whole world in his hands? She said Yes. So then I asked her, “What’s He standing on?”
You bless my heart! Beautiful songs of the faith! I don't hear these songs anymore. GOD BLESS YOU! KEEP SINGING. I WILL SEE YOU IN HEAVEN. AMEN!!! ROSEMARIE

I grew up across the aisle in the independent Christian Churches, have visited Churches of Christ, and yet my strongest impression of this hymn is from the three years I spent with the (Acapella) Beachy Amish/Mennonites, very popular with them as well, and you really should hear them sing it :-)
I fell in love with this song when I used to worship in a lovely C of C congregation in Nashville, TN almost 30 years ago. If I recall correctly an elder there told me the beautiful hymn was written by a science professor in a C of C university in Arkansas. The world would be a better place if it contained more scientists who embraced the rich faith expressed in this hymn!
@North Woods In pursuit of pretending to get smarter than the ancients. The modern scientists disregard evidential reasoning which governed how men should study nature to begin with. The law of conservation of matter literally means that something cannot become nothing, and nothing cannot become something. Because that fundamentally governs nature, without the intervening of a force which is not governed by nature, existence would not be possible.
@North Woods I wouldn't say I have any area of expertise. I'd like to call myself a philosopher because that makes one sound intelligent or cool. However, I believed the Bible by faith. When I had doubts, I spent hours thinking through the concepts of the scripture until I figured out that its still consistent with reason. So with my minimal understanding of science and my knowledge of history, there's no doubt in my mind that God is the very same that his scripture describes. Now I don't see what brought you to discuss dispensationalism, yet these are my thoughts. I do disagree regarding your stance of the scriptures. The entire Bible is perfect. The law, the records, the poets, the prophets, the gospels, and epistles all are the inspired perfect word of God. 2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" By the works of the law is no man justified, but by the grace of God. Salvation is a gift, not earned. Regarding the scriptures' perfection the whole Bible must be referred to when growing in the Lord. Jesus is the measure which you should compare for godly living. Jesus fulfilled the law which was good. So then the law of the Old Testament is still applicable in defining how to accomplish godly living. Excluding the sacrifices, the Sabbath, and abstaining from meats which is delivered exclusively for Israel's peculiarity. Not that breaking that law will remove from you that which is a gift of God, but that breaking those laws is crucifying Christ afresh. John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
I always think of my dad when I hear this song. He loves this one. We don’t sing them as much as we once did at church but this is an absolute classic!

I was born in a Seventh Day Adventist home and when I hear some of your songs it reminds me of my mother and going to youth camps during our school recess. God bless you and glory to God
Yes, He is alive, in Him we live and we survive!!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent. Your music is like cool water in a desert. God bless you and your family! My 11 yo son listens to your music every day, on Sabbath you are a guest of honour. This song is one of our favourites.
Thank you for sharing your music. I love how it lifts up and honors our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. I love how I can hear each word clearly. Beautiful, joyful harmonies, too. My 94 year old aunt loves it, too.
