Hari Om Crikey, the bloke with the electric scooter was probably onto something! That did me in just thinking about it! Ta for taking it in the legs for those of us who will never face it. Weather... don't even... I finally got into The Grey yesterday after a promising week, only to have snow appear on the hills and sub-zero temps overnight...and rain, rain, rain.... so I might be on wheels again, but I am still in Dunoon! Will ship off tomorrow as have people to see and places to be. YAM xx
You have both become one of our favourite RU-vid channels. My Wife & I have just purchased a Swift Carrera 132. Having to wait till Jan 2025 to take delivery! Till then, you both keep our dream alive. Loving your proud Scottishness and explanations of the occasional Scottish word(s), being an avid Scotland lover, though a Cornish Man and Herefordshire Lass. Have you found any negatives that are worth being aware of with the Swift Carrera and what solution(s) have you applied as a remedy? Your explanation of the Sink in the bathroom, has been extremely helpful, as it had been a concern of ours, so thank you very much, greatly appreciated. You are the only couple we have found on RU-vid who own a Swift Carrera, currently., true Scottish trail blazers! The information you are putting out into the public domain, is extremely useful, certainly for us, so thank you kindly again. Safe travels, fun adventures, stay healthy, enjoy and looking forward to your next video. Utrinque Paratus & Who Dares Wins!
Thanks so much, that has made our day reading that. We have a couple of videos in the pipeline, one about the gas system (that's the negative) in the van and one about sleeping in the van and you should find these two of interest. Thanks again for watching and glad that you found us👍🐾💕
Good to see you 3 again. Fascinating place, the Mont Saint-Michel. So much history. Thank you for sharing. Can hardly wait to see where "we" go next. Take care. Travel safe.
Lovely sharing your adventures in the new van and the new country, Keira really enjoys her holidays.....today's episode has been so very interesting...👏
Great video, thank you, i remember going to Mont St Michel over 20 years ago, I don't recall a shuttle bus 😀 The camping car parks look great, we could do with this system in the UK. Have fun on your trip🐶❤️😀🚐 xx
We saw this from a distance but never went as decided we would go on our next trip and it looked pretty good to visit Looks like Vanlife is going pretty well
Hello Mike Tricia and Keira - greetings from Poland What a lovely video. The visit to Mont St. Michel was superb. The island is obvoiusly set up for tourists who have to pay premium prices to purchase anything. The information you gave.about the Mont was excellent. Well done to all three of you on the walk. I bet the steps were rrally hard to negotiate.
These ancient Abbeys amaze me, how on earth did they build them, no computers, no machinery just fantastic c buildings. How is the Carrea suiting you ? really is a nice van, take care, Trev Debz and Tyler x x
We're loving it, makes such a difference having the bed and front seating areas. Tricia is having a lie in and I have been up and out with Keira and now sitting at table in the front having a coffee. Could never have done that in the last van👍🐾💕
Very interesting learning about Mont St Michel. I have been but didn’t explore as much as you both did. Well done on the walk let alone all those steps 😱 Happy & safe travels ☺️🌻
While in France you get a frog in your throat, or is it a wee horse lucky white Heather Mike. When you see the old towns needing renovated, and it gets done in the old style, I just wonder how Lochee wasn't done the same. Enjoy the rest of your trip M,T and K
Tend to just swallow if I get a frog in my throat since they eat them here 🤣. At least we still have Cox's stack, surprised the council didn't bulldoze that along with everything else.
Yippee, made my evening when your notification came up. Fabulous video as always, the camping car parks look fabulous, do they have Elsa points and water? Safe travels. Sue
Great video and update - it all looks amazing - have you come across any toilets or even showers on any of the camping car parks you have visited (or is that not part of the offer??) or is it just fresh water/ grey /black waste and bins…. What about electric hook up? We are looking at doing a month in our Motorhome in February 2025 into France and then into Spain to chase the sun - so very interested in your route and stops! We are self sufficient but would always use the toilets/ shower block if provided and of a decent standard etc ! We too have a cockapoo, so always interested how you get on etc- the update re the shuttle bus and abbey info is just great for us - as one of us would go in and the other would stay back with our dog-who would no doubt cry, as one of us dared to leave him! 😢
Aw, but think of the welcome you get from your pampered pooch when you come back. They have all had electric hook up and grey and black waste and fresh water. Only the orange ones on the map have showers and toilets and these sites are open but the toilet/ shower blocks are not open yet, think they open some time in March/April.
I like the idea of these camping car parks, I’m planning to go to France in August and as a single female traveller, the idea of a a barrier adds a bit more security. You mentioned an app that you had been using to find and book these sites, What App have you been using ? Thanks
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot ah, ok. Thanks, just joined and started watching your other blogs. Brilliant ! Loved your Auz trip. We’ve been twice and hit just about all the places you visited! Wife keeps shouting ‘ we’ve been there’ 🤣 keep up the blogs. Loving Daphne trip to France. We hire a Swift 122 every year for our summer hols. Off to Switzerland in June 😁
