I used to live on Anna maria Island , and Bradenton. The real problem now is dealing with the red tide, it will choke the life out of fish, mammals, and humans. If I had the correct amount of money I would live on the east coast of Florida
i feel like florida is getting to much hate, poeple say that florida is getting alot more expensive when you can look for a condo thats $60 a night. and poeple say that the humitidy is way too hot, when you just have to get used to it.
Some people aren’t willing to get used to something even if it means for the better. I live in Georgia, and I love the Twin Cities metro (Minneapolis), but I couldn’t live in weather that cold if it were to save my life. I do agree that Florida gets too much hate. Like every state there is something wrong with it. People are always going to overlook the negatives over the positives. A state of 22 Mil ppl fs is gonna have some error because there is so much room for it.
@@w-joshMN barf I lived there 30 years. Ya don't do it. Everything sucks bout that place except fishing n kinda hunting. N ya way too cold. Ga ur good there
We’re down in Swfl house hunting now .. and wow what a challenge it’s been . These prices are insane !! Especially Naples .. which was my first pick . Now I’ve expanded my search . The insurance and taxes down here are also extremely high . Thank you for these videos Jose . I enjoy watching your channel ❤.
Traffic in Naples is horrible- Immokalee Road is a parking lot. The overdevelopment and building on every square inch has ruined the town. If you do not golf. play pickleball or tennis or like to drink a lot you will not fit in. Many rude and snarky self entitled people there. Lived there years before moving- had enough of being looked down on on a daily basis as I do not play golf or want to sit at a bar drinking all night.
I just moved to Florida from New York, Pennsylvania and now I’m in Fort Myers. Just trying to learn as much as I can about Florida. Haven’t heard of your town. But thanks for sharing.
I'm in the summer of the boat although I'm still in New York but in the process of moving slowly to Fort Myers in 2 years when I retire I already have a place and Iona selfie I really love the area whenever I go down but I guess if you spend more time there you see more things
Fort Myers also, I’ll say the homeless problem is crazy, anywhere you see large overgrown areas there’s people living in there. Downtown Is better then when I lived here 12 years ago. I actually like Bonita Springs much better but it’s now hard to buy for under $500k. Hopefully people from out of state that are moving here will start fixing properties and the area will be flourishing again.
I wish Katie all the best in her real estate career👍I think an expensive place like Naples, and other places that you’ve mentioned would be great for her! She has the sweetest personality 💖
You need to check Gibsonton Florida someday in southern Hillsborough County nearby.I realize it can be trashy but it has an interesting history of retirees from the circus especially from the freak shows, they were able to keep a low profile there without being bothered.
I was born and raised in Bradenton, my whole life and in my opinion this is one of those places, where are you have to be born here to love it every single outsider I met hates it
I've lived in Bradenton since 1998 and a lot has changed! The area used to be a ton of fun. Not anymore. As soon as we have the opportunity we will be moving out of the state.
My son and I were in this area to see a Pittsburgh Pirate Grapefruit League game a few years ago. You drove by the stadium which was on the left. Not the greatest area.
Hello Southern Life folks, I remenber living in ST Petersurg on 30th Ave N near US 19 back in 1967, it was awesome. Had to move away and today Sarasota is turning into a mess. What has happened to my Florida,
I’ve seen major ups and downs over the years in Brandon with the homeless population. Same thing over in Clearwater where I used to work. I think it reaches a limit and then the police start making life uncomfortable for them. Then they drift somewhere else. The homeless just keep getting shoved around in Florida but because of the climate they’ll always be around.
First 10 mins your driving down ninth street widely considered the worst steet in town i used to live in th village of the arts a gentrifided 10. Block area between 9th and 14 street aka hooker alley
I think we all wish that there was something that could be done about homeless people but you seem to be particularly offended by them in Cuba do they not have any homeless people I think that if you stop driving around the worst parts of town you will see a lot less of them also you guys jump from 9 homeless people to 13 and you guys came up with a total of 16 homeless people in 45 minutes if you counted correctly that would be 12 can you guys decided that anybody who was on a bicycle with a backpack was homeless which is pretty heavily profiled I don't know I just don't want you guys to slander Bradenton or any other City by only showing the ghetto maybe next time take a drive down Manatee Avenue from downtown Bradenton to the beaches
I would MUCH RATHER do a beach drive I promise. but sadly youtube is a beast. I will upload tommorow a drive along ST PETE COAST recorded today you will absolutely love it. it was pretty today. should be up tommorow
Some parts of lehigh are an absolute dump. the SW side in particular.. duplex nightmare. I lived in Buckingham section before moving up here and it was OK, but no good internet. It was kinda desolate so i rode an ATV all day and even at night thru dirt trails.. great memories but you have to be ON POINT, and ALLERT.,. becuase there is NO ONE out there.. you can get your hosue robbed in a heartbeat. i only ran into ONE homeless guy in lehigh he was living like tarzan.. sometimes he was naked.. hunting squrriels and turltes, fishing.. super reclusive guy. I think he had warrants and was hiding out. anyways, they are building houses like crazy in lehigh... but what a horrible commute. I like LWR more because more things to do, but not ATV allowed here.
My old dog love living in Lehigh we lived out by George Washington and 82 when my first moved down here only house on the street but it's as you say the commute is terrible and you might get your door kicked in business-wise anybody who calls for you to do work out there it doesn't have any money
How do you know he doesn't? Some people give a bottle of water and make a big deal about it and others give pizzas and cases of water, can goods etc and do not feel good about bragging about it..
