St. Rd. 64 Walmart area. You are right about what you said in this video. It’s very odd how there are $1 million homes and then across the street, slums. Most tourists and those that move here don’t even know about that. Thanks for putting this video together. From Ellenton.
We retired and moved here three years ago from Ohio. We live in West Bradenton and so far, we are loving it! It’s wonderful to have so many doctors and specialists, restaurants, shopping and of course the beaches on the island so close to us! Our neighborhood is absolutely stunning! There is a wonderful sense of community and we love that! We are 5-6 miles from the beach and go there early in the morning about 3-4 times a week with a few of our neighbors. It truly is like living in paradise!🌴☀️🌴☀️
Thank you. Retired and looking to move South, but skyrocketing prices, put most houses out of range for moderate income people. Bradenton seemed as a possible place that's more reasonable. Now I know why. Guess the option is not here and continue to search.
I bet ya thought I was gonna complain 😂 I'm 1st generation Floridian and you were pretty spot on. When I graduated, I found out that most of my school mates couldn't read and everything I was interested in was out of state so maybe your vid will help to make the positive changes that are needed, thank you ✌💪💜
Thank you! I was considering Bradenton northwest area but I don't want to be surrounded by drugs and homeless. Glad I found your video. Can you do one on Sarasota pls? I'm surprised online says sarasota is a C grade on crime. What's your take on this?
we did the same video for sarasota. wife had a realtors licence here but she recently let it go idle due to lack of sales. sarasota is WAY better jsut avoid anything NORTH of downtown
I mean, I've lived in worst areas in Bradenton. But its not the worst. I agree with a lot of your video, anyone moving into Bradenton should definitely do some research first
Hi! I lived in Bradenton way back. I bought in to the village of the arts. The city spent $700,00.00 on research to improve the city. I don't think they achieved what they were trying to do. I live in Palmetto, now. I am retired, and I felt bad that you showed a plaza that is right behind the property that I live in. I have to say that we are isolationists and the reality of life is "Out there" I enjoyed your video very much. I am surely numb to the reality of the real world. Bay shore gaardens used to be one of the nicest places to own property( 1985ish)
Have you ever gone to around 12 Ave E in the south side area right on 9th street parallel to 14th? You should go down into that neighborhood, I live here and its pretty rough
I know its bad back there, boosie did a music video there many years ago. I try to not go there because I know what areas are best avioded. I've driven thru there for sure. but havent done videos yet. I try to use discretion here and there were just making videos not worth getting into crap. But yeah its definately wild in there at times.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS yea man, it gets a little wild back here haha, we have those big brinx trucks but police vehicles with like 6 cameras in them and cops stationed around here, just wondered if you've ever did a vid on this area
My Grandfather had a Bradenton house in the 70s. Today, it is NOT a good place to live. Heat, humidity, RedTide, and serious crime. Don’t move there…you will be sorry.
A great way to take care of drug dealers is to go to the DEA and complain that local cops are not working on it. They get very aggressive when they are questioned by the Feds. And sometimes the Feds take over the prosecution resulting in Federal prison.
I moved to Bradenton in 2018. I live in the Bayshore Gardens/South Bradenton area. Definelty not the "nice" part of town but I don't find it too unsafe. I feel comfortable walking/running around the neighborhood. Trash and upkeep is pretty poor so that makes it look a lot worse than it is. Cool seeing streets I am on everyday on this video. I think Bradenton's problem is that we are too close to a major city in Tampa, and a wealthy city in Sarasota. Bradenton is kind of the in-between. Why would a developer come here when they could go to Sarasota or Tampa? Just my thoughts
@@JudyDuduks-gm4rb I lived there 78-80. My son was born there in 1980. I lived on County line Road. It’s a whole different world down there. When I lived there, there was places to live for the locals that was reasonable, and then you always had the place for the Tourists, which was outrageous. Now all the locals are priced out. You have to have some really deep pockets to live there, but that’s what they want.
You are giving so much information.. i'm born and raised in the Netherlands (still living there) I travel allot and was thinking about buying some property in Florida. Your videos give me the info i need of where not to buy
I have lived in Sarasota for 40 years and Bradenton has been known for as long as I can remember to be crime ridden with lots of homeless . Downtown Bradenton is a shame s waste , nothing much is downtown and it too has crime. Manatee county is corrupt and have not done anything for the county or city . The elected officials of Manatee county is a big reason Bradenton sucks, , because they have done nothing to compete with Sarasota . In the 40 years of living in Sarasota, Bradenton has not changed , it was bad 40 years ago and it's still bad.
Beautiful beaches? What, all three of them? Manatee Beach Holmes Beach Coquina Beach?. That's it. One county south being Sarasota is beach capital of the Florida west coast. Bradenton is a dump. Rubonia is not Bradenton. It is north Manatee. It is north of Manatee River. Palmetto has a nice area about the size of a postage stamp. Oneco is East of 1st Street. Pride park included. Northwest corner of Bradenton and Anna Maria is it. The rest is hell. 9th St West is hell. All the way from Cortez road to Manatee River. Samoset used to be quaint. Used to be. Tropicana Juice Plant is nearby. Downtown Bradenton? What downtown? Main Street? Bayshore is middleclass. Lower middle class. The sidewalks are intermittent on US 41. If you use a power chair forget Btown. Manatee Ave is only decent west of 1st St. Manatee County sucks. I can't imagine paying taxes there. The school systemand government are full of generational people. The homeless STERNO bums of taken over from ultra liberalism.
Please keep trash talking about Bradenton. I have lived here since 1977 and I find most everything about your video to be inaccurate, but we need to discourage as many people as possible from moving here, so keep up the good work.
Everybcify in Florida has it. Go to ft pierce and chec k outflying js gas station. Homeless in cars . Year round. U are wrong about lots but right in some aspects. But lakewood ranch had the highest teenage drug rate for several years. Top 2. Back when but it only slowed down bc it switched to fetty not roxys and youngsters don’t wanna die
First off Bradenton doesn’t kick out homeless people. That’s a fact. Sarasota . Now SRQ I live wheere you vacation. Sarasota does. And it 2007 it was voted no 1 worst and meanest city to the homeless. …… they literally kicked out homeless from downtown and pandhandling. Bradenton does was it can w homeless . But people can’t change any more. What’s the point.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS it's hilarious to see 20 years later he still pissing people off and they're still writing Sammy Turner is gay on various things in Palmetto I graduated in 2005
no cool story guy was just a high school bully. lots of people hated him. I guess they still do since they spray painted sam turner is gay @FLORIDAHOODVLOGS
