The spiders were horrendous, but the trip overall was wonderful. The sunrise was truly spectacular. Shame that fish ruined my time-lapse!

Hi mate. Glad you enjoyed the video. The reason why I use the Tronixpro Baitex is that it is made from latex. Natural rubber latex is biodegradable and comes from natural sources. In my mind this makes it fish friendly too. However... I don't mention this in my videos as I haven't seen any concrete evidence that these products are natural latex and not synthetic latex (I guess I'm just blindly hoping it is natural!). There is another brand (Beginning with In...) that claims their latex elastic is biodegradable, but I trust that companies word less than I would Vladimir Putin's, they have a long history of lies and mistrust! So for that reason I stick with the Tronixpro product.

I haven't used an up and over since I started with the bar 15 or so years ago. It's replaced that entirely. It casts further and is far quicker and easier to tie (once you've got a few bars anyway).
