I’m so new to your videos and I absolutely love y’all! I’m going to buy a wig or two, get out of my house, and start to live again. I’m 70 years old, but I don’t feel that old. I lost my husband 6 years ago and it’s caused me such a huge mental breakdown. I lost a year and a half of my life that I don’t remember and the stress has been unbelievable. The two of you has showed me how to restart my life. Thank you and many blessings to you both….

I lost my border collie rescue earlier this year to cancer. She was an amazing dog. SO smart! I feel like my zoey’s memory will get to live on in your videos. Tears of joy.

For the first time in my 38 years, I am spending Christmas in another country, away from family, and everything else familiar. Last year, I took your advice to RYOW and decided it was time for a BIG change. My husband and I saved every penny we could in a years time and moved to a small island off the coast of Honduras so that I could pursue my dream of becoming a professional scuba diver. I cannot even begin to tell you how much the 2 of you have inspired me since I started watching years ago. You are full of life and joy and happiness and humor and adventure and realness. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both. Congratulations on all of you accomplishments this year. I can't wait to see the house renovations, the homecoming of a new dog, and the wedding. I just want you two to know you have saved me. I was lost, mentally, and didn't know what was going to happen as I was having horrible thoughts about my life. I would watch your videos and they would bring me out of this dark place to be happy to live vicariously through you two. I am now getting help and am on the right meds. I just want to thank you for saving my life, literally. I love you two so much. I feel like just saying thank you isn't enough.

Great achievements this year. Always love watching your commercials too. They're the best! I'm sooooo excited about your house purchase and "feel" your appreciation and happiness for your new home. Wouldn't it be great to fix the barn enough to have your wedding there and then convert it into a work and guest space, where your favorite peeps in the whole world can stay and share your local adventures. I'm sure you'll come up with great ideas. Thank you both for sharing your adventures, including their downs and ups. Every step in life will have its chapters, and your new home home chapter will be filled with plenty of stories as well. Make a home plan and ASK and ALLOW God to guide you along the way and HE WILL Guide you to the right people with the best ideas and skills, and it will inevitably turn out better than you could ever imagine yourself. My personal opinion about a dog is get a small 15 lb poodle mix. I have had many dogs and all are heavy cleaning maintenance. The poodle mixes don’t shed if they have a high enough poodle mix and it’s a dream. The work to groom is far easier than constant cleaning. If you take you four legged bundle with you in the van it will be difficult to maintain the space. Other breeds are non shedding. I have a poodle doodle mix and she is a great dog. Playful and always wants to be with you. She is emotionally in the anxious side but that was because a car her in a crosswalk and she is anxious now-so ask about that. Mostly she doesn’t like moving objects and the rest she is great with. Love how you took care of mental health and are in the upside of things again. Good luck in the rebuild and take care as it will be a challenge for sure.

Craig and Aimee - a bit of house advice. Aside from shoring up structural issues, live in your house for a while to get a feel for how you will use the rooms before making major remodeling decisions. You will be surprised how your ideas change over time.

As a soon 50 year old man , that's gone through an awful lot of changes in my life over the last 2 years, on personal and mental levels , watching you both being open, honest , and absolute nutters in the best possible way , are a true breath of fresh air and how to approach life. Especially after what both of you have been through. You may be only in your early 30's but your wisdom and insight is beyond that. You are also making me want to return to Scotland and see if I can find the location where my father grew up in Glasgow , that would be an adventure in itself. Keep being you guys. 4:19 Hi Craig, I was diagnosed as severely depressed 12 years ago, the doctor told me I was attention seeking so wouldn't give me any help (I was in my teens) since then I've been too afraid to reach out for help, the depression hasn't improved, I can't trust therapy and CBT only helps so much. My biggest fear for reaching out for help is not being taken seriously and the fear of what medication could do to me. Knowing you plan to release your story about your journey fills me with so much positivity, it's actually my new year resolution to get my depression sorted by the end of 2024 and you've certainly help drive that with what you've mentioned in this video. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I wish for you two to have a blissful life

Lads, not seen the one where you find the house yet...will go take a look for sure though. I'm currently fixing up mine after a bout of Melanoma took me out of the workforce at the start of the pandemic. I knew it had woodworm, so, i went looking for it while i had nothing better to do. Long story short, new windows, doors, front room floor poured, stripping back of front room ceiling with a whole bunch of side by sides added, a refitting of the bathroom, a new boiler placed up in the loft, and the creation of an airing cupboard at the top of the stairs, I'm still very much at it! One thing with Scotland that i know... anything youre doing HAS to be to the Scottish code...not a bad thing as their codes are often better than the English codes...but, it can cause added/unexpected expense. Oh, and make sure you have the right set of tools...may i suggest the Milwaukee brushless M18 Red Lithium series of tools to start with...in particular to get you going, a medium/large circular saw, a multi-tool woth a wode selection of heads, a cordless drill and an impact driver. Also, for drilling through wood, the Bosch Expert Speed Spade Drill bits are second to none. Also, their mountain biking is just the best! It would be cool to see you guys getting into it a bit more. Also, if youre anywhere neart Perthshire, check out The Scottish Detectorist channel...he's always digging up good stuff. And, for Scottish history, checkout the Scotland History Tours channel for a familiar but truly unique perspective. Giz a shout if you need a hand with anything next year. Im no tradesman but I've had to deal with a fair bit at home 😂

I am 4:42 into your video. My younger brother took his own life 2 weeks ago at the young age of 45. We did not see it coming so I think the video you are making will help a lot of people. I would not normally post this in a comment but when it happes to you, you understand that awareness around metal health needs to be more of a priority. Congrats on the new house, cannot wait for the renovation series. Your videos make me laugh and are so entertaining. Please keep it up. You never know who you are helping.
