We closed on our new home and I am thrilled to share it with you today! It's been a crazy whirlwind journey over the past few months but we are SO thankful to be here. I hope y'all love our "Grand Old Lady" as much as we do!

You spoiled American people, where everything is supposed to be so Grand, extravaganza 🙈🙈😂 In Norway this is a big, huge mansion! ⛪ So so beautiful !🤩 I loved to see the happiness in your eyes, you are glowing, Angela, and I fully understand! I see the history this home comes with, and I'm so so thrilled to think about the history your big family will make here, hopefully for generations! Can't wait to see the touch you will give this home with your taste but into it 🙏 🏡 When you showed us the "Princess room" upstairs, I thought... That must be a great space for the homeschooling! Like a in for outdoor school on the roof. My being a mother of eighteen (12 biological and 6 adopted) I admire you and I know all the work you guys are doing with your beautiful family. It's not just about how many beds, square feet etc. its about the love you give those children and their happiness from your videos I see this. Okay, this is quite literally my dream house! The windows, the french doors, the kitchen, all the little balconies and porches, not to mention the historic aspect - everything I love in one place! I teared up too! I love how she described it like a hug from the Lord, when he gives you some special little thing that means a lot! I have thought the same thing when the Lord has done that for me! I am in awe that he cares about each of us so much, too even pay attention to the small things!

So happy for you all! A dream come true! 🥳 (One small suggestion if I may. Would you talk to your family about a practice fire drill for your family? It is so useful to do, especially in a new house so everyone in the house knows the nearest exits etc. Older kida to help guide the younger ones if stuck on the first floor etc. Pray they never need to actually use the drill.Hope you don't mind the suggestion) Again, enjoy your beautiful home! May it be blessed with happy years together.

I love this house! I think this is the first home tour that I have ever watched where I have had to fight off the sin of jealousy. 😂 This is what we want so bad! It’s stunning! Angela and family, Congrats! Dont you just love those "God winks". My husband was going through some serious health concerns a few years ago. He was coming out of a specialist office and a lucky penny fell from the sky heads up right in front of him. A God hug and wink from heaven to let him know who is really in charge.......right? I do house histories for a living in the Washington DC area. I would suggest reaching out to the local historical society to see if they have any history on the house 😁

I am in complete and utter awe of your new estate. The grounds alone are magical. Your family is truly touched by God. I too have a huge family (7 children) and I would squeeze them all in if I had to, just to have that piece of paradise that you get to call home. Enjoy and congrats! We only had 1 1/2 bathrooms growing up in a 9 person family on a farm and it was fine. I love that there are so many windows

What an absolutely beautiful house 😍😍 I just bought my first house and it’s 120 years old, built in 1900! This gives me a ton of inspiration for how to make it modern but keep all the little charming characteristics to stay true to the history :)

Oh I was so excited for this video!! Had to comment before watching. This house looks so familiar. I grew up in lIncoln county, nc. We had a 1920s home and we had French doors from our living room to our dining room. It was one of my favorite things.

Congratulations, it is just stunning. I can see you and your gorgeous family celebrating birthdays and the kids weddings. Then the rewards of the kids coming home to visit, with all your grandchildren. You may have to include a bunkhouse for the overflow sleepovers. It is definitely a glorious old style home built for a beautiful big family, that will always be filled with love. We moved about 2 months ago into our new house, we were really excited that it came with a pool, but after 2 months my parents are over taking care of it and are going to sell it in the spring. Its above ground, I dont know what kind of pool yall want to get, but it's a lot of work (maintaining the chemical balances, sweeping, vacuuming, etc) so if you want the pool but dont want to deal with the daily upkeep, maybe think of getting someone who can take care of it, or have your kids learn how to care of it (I dont do it alone, I have help from my parents, but my brother and I help take a load off). Btw the house is so gorgeous and I'm so happy for you!! 💕

Beautiful! Beautiful! I love the view(I long to plant my own fruit and vegetable garden, also tropical flowers etc). The master bathroom and copy are so beautiful . This reminds me of my childhood memory of my grandfather's estate in the islands(massive with animals). I'm especially in love with your kitchen. I would be sold on that alone. Watching you pack up the last few weeks was giving me PTSD, lol. We moved our seven (now expecting our 8th) kids to our dream home in April during SHELTER IN PLACE and A BLIZZARD. It. Was. CRAZY! Like you ,we had hoped to have final photos of us in the house, two were even born there but COVID threw everything off and those last two months (the move was a year in the works) just happened. We have no family here to help so it was insane. So happy for your family! It is a dreamy home for sure!

Love the wood trim! You just don’t see wood trim in newer houses anymore. Everything is white, white, white now... The wood trim adds so much character to the house. I can imagine your grown kiddos coming home for holidays. Hanging out in the grand kitchen! Ah so happy for y’all! Gorgeous home!

Congrats. I see many memory making rooms in this house. The kitchen area will just be where you are. That living room is more like a bonus room. Bet you use it as an old time Parlor. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.

A great way to keep the mosquitos away without affecting good pollinators is to plant certain types of plants around the house such as lavender, marigolds, citronella, basil, and rosemary. There are lot of others too, if you google “plants mosquitos hate” you can find lists. I noticed you talking about the annoying bugs on the other channel so I thought I’d leave this here :)
