Sorry to hear about your Dad Trish, totally understand why you guys want to take a break. Miss you guys being on our screens, looking forward to your return and your new adventures. You two are an inspiration and are giving Vicky and I a list of amazing places to visit in our van. Best wishes Peter and Vicky.

only just getting into your videos guys and I know this is a time back. I am so very sorry for your loss, I lost my father not so long back so totally understand how difficult it is. I have watched all of your youtube videos and really enjoy going along for the ride. It difficult which I enjoy more, the landscape, you two or Keira. But the whole show is very entertaining. It is so good to see you all again. So very sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad in the hight of covid (not from covid) and we could not be with him. So hard. Loss of a parent is hard no matter how it happens. Praying for you Trish and Mike and Trish’s family. Know of the prayers of all us Sisters of St Benedict here in southern Indiana, USA. Hi Mike and Trish. Very sorry to know of your loss - our thoughts are with you both. Some terrific plans for 2022 - looking forward to watching those unfold. And all presented in beautiful surroundings - made us homesick again ! West Highland Way is certainly a great "getaway" walk. I enjoyed it but not as much as the Great Glen Way - Ft. William to Inverness. Even better views on that one, especially on the higher old "drover" roads above Loch Ness. Enjoyed that one so much I went back and did it again - recommended ! As far as the opening , I have to agree it was a little annoying each time, especially with Kiera lovingly licking you all over the face, again and again and again. lol Like the newer shorter version. Sorry to hear of your loss. RU-vid and your followers have missed you. A little tip if you go Orkney this year book more than a fortnight . There is so much to explore there I think you will find to weeks isn’t enough. The new scapa flow museum is meant to be opening this year sometime, that will be worth a visit. We love it up there but we are off to Shetland this year for a change. Good luck with all your trips this year .looking forward to the videos. Stay safe and all the best.

I have had Toyota cars over forty years and have never had a breakdown,, your video has certainly made myself and my wife think seriously about buying a campervan and it will have to be a Toyota as we would love to explore Devon and Cornwall as well as the Scottish Islands.

Your father will always be there in your memories. He will pop in to your thoughts when you are least expecting it and bring a tear to your eye. Nothing wrong in that whatsoever and is a sign of love and happy memories. Go do all the things you have dreamed of and have a wonderful time.

hi, i am new to your videos and i like them a lot! i traveled to Lisbon Portugal with a small caravan pulled by an old volvo v70, i went across at dover but came back by Bilboa to Portsmouth, although i enjoyed the travel through france and Spain and there are lots of stop offs for campers, i wanted to get to portugal asap, So, next time, i would go by portsmouth to Bilboa especially if my time was limited. saves a lot of ware & tear & petrol. I hope all runs smothly for you this year.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. Even when you know it's coming it's still a shock when it happens. But that "he's still watching the videos -- after all, we upload them to the cloud" caught me so much by surprise I started laughing out loud. Which is rather frowned upon when one works in a library, might I add. Do what you gotta do and take care of yourselves. We'll still be here when you get back to sharing videos. Heck, I might even be caught up by then! :D

May is the best month to visit Orkney and you should allow time to take one or more inter-island ferries to enjoy some of the smaller islands. Spain's too warm for me and I guess Mike will need a knotted hanky (Broon's style) for his head when he's out in the Spanish sun 😂. I really enjoy watching your videos and 'analysing' your editing. I'm still getting my head around my "What to do in '22" vid!
