I swear to god our nation is such a two faced crap heap. If all this respectful protest doesn't work, we are gonna have to get much more disruptive. The govourment wont listen if they dont face repercussions.

A nature reserve near me which is now full of common lizards but they almost disapeared there after people stealing them, and that was with the laws in place and there almost gauranteed to disappear if these laws aren’t kept

It’s actually a disgrace to see. Some people have no idea what they are doing and they are just so stupid. If they want to help. Don’t do it. Like this is so terrible because these could all go extinct

Habitat loss is the key lads,,I am 61 yes old and when I was a kid the amount of Wimpey homes that went on greenbelt was shocking,,bird loss was awfull,,Lapwing,Barn owl in particular,,,as for ponds that were filled in I spent my weekend moving frogs toads newts to other safe sites,,,it was truly disheartening...keep up the fight lads you doin a top job,👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Same here, as a kid I could find so many reptiles and amphibians at many locations within 15 minutes walk from home, I no longer visit the area as its too sad, almost everything has gone.

Does this affect all the species covered by the wildlife and countryside act? Even ones such as the polecat(schedule 6) which are one of the best examples of what these protections can do for a species?
