Awe....I feel her pain we just bought a dehumidifier for our basement apartment because the owner dont fix anything and we had to toss a bunch of furniture and clothing and pull down walls due to black mold. The house has a crack in the foundation but the owner dont want to fix it 😣

You need mould and mildew spray to kill it and get big electric dehumidifier ! Its a life saver when it comes to moisture issues causing mould as it removes the moisture out the room xxx

We are livebutnotlive from Huddersfield, west yorkshire! your channel is actually one of the main reasons we decided to start our channel :) you're such an inspiration! aww i feel so sorry for Jamie, our first and second home both ended up covered in mould and it was horrible to live in, luckily we now have a mould free home! x

Damp and mould are caused by excess moisture. Moisture in buildings can be caused by leaking pipes, rising damp in basements or ground floors, or rain seeping in because of damage to the roof or around window frames. In a newly built home damp can occur if the water used when the house was built is still drying out.

You can buy electric de humidifiers which should help draw the moisture out as much as possible. The landlord needs to find the source though and sort it .

Humidifiers create extra moisture in the air and can encourage the growth of mold and mildew. You need a de-humidifier. But I am sure that is what you meant.

Awwwwwwww I’m so glad you sorted everything for Jamie, bless her. I had a problem with mould at one time in my son’s old bedroom and I know how that made me feel. I was so happy too when it was sorted. We will always be there for our kids no matter what. Sending extra special hugs to Jamie and also to you for being an amazing mum & dad and to JoJo for being a little ray of sunshine 🌞 xxx

Open the windows to give the room ventilation. Also get one of those damp boxes and keep the windows open more until the problem is sorted.

Aw poor Jamie , hope the landlord sorts it soon , in one of the houses we stayed in as a wain there was mild on one of the walls because the upstairs neighbours pipes burst and it was never sorted but the landlord had to install vents into the windows and 2 in the outer wall 🙄 I hope the landlord sorts it properly fast because it can have bad effects on your lungs being around mold even for a short time. aww Jamie its a horrible feeling when you find things like this and its not within your control.There is paint that you can paint the walls with to help clear the mold but i should hope your landlord sees the pictures of how bad it is and sorts it. please don't be too upset, what ever you need to do just do it, even if that's moving back home until you find a place that is not damp. its a bit of a crappy feeling moving back home when you have been away but it will power you on to get a new place. things happen for a reason and you are obv meant to find a different palace to be a princess in :) i never comment on your vlogs but i just had to today seeing Jamie so upset. sending hugs and positive thoughts to you Jamie xx

Blessings go out to Jamie I’ve been in the same situation in my old place which I had to move out of in the end! Although putting bleach on it was the worse thing u can do as it feeds the mould! Which will allow it to grow back harder! I was told this by environmental health as my old landlord kept telling us to do this. Hope she gets it all sorted!

Don’t worry Jamie! I had the exact same problem when I first moved into my first flat!!!!! One thing that stopped my mould problem, was getting a dehumidifier! I only got a small one was around £90 but TOTALLY worth it!!!!!! Also keeping the bathroom door closed with the light/fan on for around an hour after showering also helped stop the moisture turning into mould elsewhere!!!! Goodluck!!!!! It will get better! 💕

I have mould in my room and you have to make sure that you don’t put anything right up against the outside walls leave a few inch gap between furniture and the walls x

I used to love going on the Bouncy castles and the tall inflatable slides. I also loved the carousels either the traditional ones with the horses or the ones with different vehicles like buses etc.

You can get paint that stops moisture getting through just be careful that the moisture does not go to other places in the house. We had a damp issue in our basement but the pain fixed it

I use to have mould in my old bedroom when I use to live at my parents it was only room in the house that use to have it, i notice if you dont put things right against the wall the mould should be as bad. Leave a bit of a gap. Just check it every few days so if it starts you can spray it with mould spray so doesnt spread. I know how she feels its nasty especially when it makes the paint come off the wall. Luckily I've moved out numbers of years ago & brought a house which is a new build so hopefully it will never happen again. But builders these days rush things & cut corners as I have found out since leaving here especially finding out last year the concrete in the garden underneath the slabs wasnt even set. It was by chance as she had to raise the garden as it kept flooding. So even new builds aren't perfect.

I live in the USA and we have a product called zep it's a mold stain and mildew stain remover. All you do is spray it on it bubbles up and kills it. Than 8n my apartment they painted over it with kiltz paint to seal it. They names might be different but in a home store like lowes they probably have it. I hope this helps!

We have a really bad mould problem my mum found this mould paint on eBay and you clean the mould and bleach it then you paint the white mould paint over the mould patches and then paint normal paint over it and it sorts the problem out we haven’t had mould in months it really works I hope it helps Jamie

Every place I haves lived in has mould, I have a clothes horse in my room so that’s why i get mould, Wilkinson’s sell a mould killer that’s good, costs a 5er

I suggest if you have any tumble dryer sheets put one of them on your brush that will dry your hair as well as give your hair a lovely fragrance

Bleach the wall, dry it with a towel, spray mould spray (sold on eBay) then paint the wall and leave a heater on it for 2 days! Make sure you vent the room daily. I had really bad mould in my kids room I did this and it’s completely gone 😁

Dehumdifier for room used whenever not in it and a damp trap by the window. It would also help if the heating was put on for an hour a day. I had damp in my flat for a while and those things sorted it
