You shouldn’t let anyone pressure you into changing your birth plan at the end of the day you’re the one who gotta push that baby out as long at you got your widwives and doula they’ll help you if something goes wrong they immediately jump in help you or get you to a hospital and make sure you get the correct help. Black women have the highest birthing death rate because doctors do not take us serious when we express we’re in pain or something is wrong and a doula and a midwife will stand up for you and make the doctors listen to you. Me personally I’m going the natural way but I’m not delivering at home instead I’m going to a birthing center it’s a happy medium for me and my partner who’s nervous about me not being in a hospital plus I can go home with my baby 5-12hrs after delivering and my midwives and doulas will do at home visits and check ups for 2-6wks after 🥰

Okay so I have experienced it all natural C-section and epidural now let me just say this we are the same sign Capricorn and like you I can't take pain so I will say this just stay calm make sure you breathe in and out and also don't listen to people that try to scare you because everybody is different when it comes to pregnancy now when you go natural you are going to feel that great ball of fire and that's only when it's time for the head to come out and then also let me just say this the contractions literally feel just like menstrual cramps that's really all they are but they just keep coming back to back also if you do get an epidural be aware that sometimes with the epidural you won't know when it's time to push like they'll tell you to push but you won't even know that you're supposed to because you won't even feel anything so make sure that if you do decide to get the epidural that it's where they let you choose how much you get and not them doing it for you because that's what happened to me they gave me too much epidural and I literally did not know when it was time to push like like they had to keep telling me to push because I didn't feel no contractions also with getting the epidural make sure you know that down the line it can cause back problems not nothing two major but yeah it definitely will so whatever you decide to do I wish you luck and I would say that if you're thinking about a C-section which I hope you don't get a C-section it takes about 4 months to heal after a c-section like literally I hated it but again I wish you nothing but blessings congrats on your beautiful bundle of joy and if you see this comment let me know your thoughts on what you think about what I said ☺️❤️

I had my second 12/2020 and I went natural this time after having an epidural with my daughter in 2010…it’s really gonna depend on how you feel honestly but I was glad to have my son natural, I was only labor for 4 hours and he came quick lol but the difference I felt from having the epidural was after the birth I was super sluggish and it took me a little bit of time to get back to myself because of all the meds versus the natural birth where I really felt good afterwards the nurses and stuff were like you need any pain medication, I felt that good that each time they asked I said nope I’m good 🙂 and the was looking like what’s wrong with her even asking me am I sure lmao 🤣 nonetheless I pray both you ladies have safe births🤎🤎🤎y’all got this whichever decision y’all decide☺️☺️can’t wait to see the beautiful babies!💕Britt

You do have back pains from the epidural. When it gets cold. It could hurt more. BUT I still recommend the epidural if you want it because the back pain is fine if you got a good bed you won't really have a problem

I tell you this daysha the EPIDURAL IS A HUGEEEEE DIFFERENCE! I had it with my first and too late to get it for my 2nd , and boyyyyy when I tell you SCREAMING YELLING KICKING AND TRYING TO GET OUT THE DAMN HOSPITAL , my first one had me thinking I’m built for this 😂😂😂😂😂 and my pain tolerance is high as hell

I had both of my kids with no epidural had my first baby at 19 when I tell you don’t get it cause having your baby with no medicine is worth it you can do it after the baby out it’s a big relief like (oooooh) the contractions like a period cramp that’s like long but it goes away n I kept telling myself I can do it out loud n I did the water birth I didn’t have them at the hospital I went to a birthing center the vibe is soooooo soothing I had a whole jacuzzi a big bed but the funny thing when it was time to push for both I got up n had them in the bed I literally got up n walked the baby head was kinda out I didn’t care lol I was like get her out I’m telling you it’s worth it you just have to believe in your self and know that god got you cause I was definitely talking to him

I feel like you have to really prepare way ahead of time as far as practicing your breathing & way to cope with the pain if you’re gonna go natural . My plan was to have my baby on my hands and knees but honestly it all depends on your baby when it comes down to it . My daughters heart rate kept dropping she did not like whenever I would lay on my left side to the point where they said if it kept dropping the would do an emergency c-section which was NOT my plan . Pray , good luck & every baby is different they gonna do what they wanna do

I was trying to go through the whole thing without getting the epidural and everytime the nurses kept coming in the check they kept asking me if I wanted the epidural I was like no I want to see how well I can do it. Then I ended up getting it . I wanted to breastfeed but our son was a NICU baby so I tried so many times to breast feed but he wouldn't latch. There was one time we were at home and he latched for like maybe 2 minutes and that didn't want to latch anymore

my sister water broke & she waited a few hours before she went to the hospital because she didn’t want to just “ be sitting there” she ended up getting there when she was literally ready to push, she couldn’t get an epidural or anything 😂 she said never again.

I had both my kids natural, first one I had contractions in my back so I didn't feel it much. The second I felt contractions but did most my labor at home and contractions was ok cuz I was up and moving...we are not meant to be restricted to a bed for labor just sobbing in pain that's why I went to the hospital when it was damn near time to push!

I’m not even going to lie, that shit hurt. I had 3 kids & all my kids I had an epidural. If you can deal with your period cramps times 10 then you’ll be fine. I had all natural births , no c-sections. I did have stitches with 2 of my children. I didn’t tear but I did have little more bleeding after the baby came out. U have to be 4CM dilated as of what I was told or your water, mucus plug breaks before being admitted. I was induced with 2 of my children so I didn’t have to wait obviously. Sometimes they have you walk around to get the baby to drop. Only thing I regret now was getting the epidural. I experience back pains after having the epidural but I had a car accident years before having children. You’ll know when it’s time though, it feels like you have to shit & that’s when most the pain starts to kick in. You can’t get an epidural after that lol. Good luck to you though! I had a. epidural with my first son & felt nothing giving birth but was in labor 34 hrs first & my second son I had him natural till the last hour I asked for a lil something to get me through so dr gave me a low dose cocktail in my IV & it helped ... 👌🏼👌🏼

I haven’t watched the whole video through yet. But don’t say no to epidural 100%. It’s not always healthier. I was natural until 6cm then I wasn’t progressing, and I was having 2 contractions at a time, my son was getting really stressed and I was so pressed to go without epidural. It’s still natural with medicine and when I got the epidural I enjoyed the rest of the birth and it was absolutely LOVELY. I also had a C-section but if I would have just done epidural off rip there wouldn’t have been as many problems. And the contractions start AS SOON AS your water break, and it takes your breath away. Birth is not what you think. It’s something you have to experience. And I don’t have any back pain due to the epidural.

I had both my daughters natural. With my oldest daughter I got to the hospital to late and was to far into the labor to where I couldn’t get the epidural. With her my water didn’t break. She is now 12 years old. My second daughter is turning 5 months next week. With her they had to induce me at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure and I had to get pitocin. Pitocin is NOT no joke BUT my daughter came 2 hours after they gave me the pitocin. They had to break my water with her as well. I do think you should do natural. Just think positive, practice breathing, and constantly tell yourself you got this. That’s what got me through both my deliveries. We are all strong women no matter what type of delivery we do. Natural is the way to go. You will feel pain while in labor but imagine feeling pain when it gets cold or rains. The epidural makes you numb but causes back pain and problems after.

I got mines too early!!! At 3cm it worn off, natural was completely fine!

I was induced and the plan was natural but that pitocin kicked in and made them contractions were so strong compared to how they were before the pitocin. I had to get the epidural. I had been in labor for 15 hours and was stuck at 4 cm the whole time. Contractions were soo strong and were a minute apart from the pitocin. I hadnt slept none of those 15 hours. The epidural kicked in and I finally got to rest 4 hours later he came. I don’t regret the epidural at all.

I got the epidural it’s a long ass needle in the middle of your back it’s a pinch but I was having contractions at the same time so it was hard to sit still . My second child I got a spinal leak from the epidural which gave me painful headaches and I had to get a patch and take caffeine pills 😭😭

Girl don't let no one needle stop you from getting a epidural that can stop the pain for the long number of hours you'll be in labor. That needle will be in you for a few seconds, but labor is wayyy longer than that. Pain for seconds or pain for hours??? lol choose wisely.

Idc how strong you are once tht pain hit you mannnnnnnnnnnn , I had a rough delivery no pain meds only laughing gas and couldn’t get epidural until I was in active labor , the anesthesiologist was being an ass wanted more blonde work I couldn’t push my baby out vaginally , I went from 1-6cm while she was checking my cervix my water broke , I went from 6-9 they said it’s go time we tried pushes nothing , still in pain just laughing gas , I was so exhausted , then I went back from 9-6cm I was still thick , my nurse was getting piss because the anesthesiologist was being an ass finally he came , baby heart rate started to drop , imagine being in pain the nurse rolling you from left to right on your knees different position I started getting worried , I literally had alll the nurse off the floor and OR NURSES MIDWIFE , then they call the doctor , baby heart still not going up , I can’t push , finally for the epidural doc said csection - sign paper work I felt a lot better once I got it , I was at ease omg I could finally relax , got rush to the OR NOT EVEN 5 mins I heard HAPPY BIRTHDAY my beautiful BUNDDLE OF JOY WAS HERE , I literally cried my baby gurl weighed 9POUND 6OZ ON JANUARY 3rd 2022 at 440pm !!!! The best birth is a at home birth. It’s healthier for you and your baby. Trust me, pay that 4,000 for a home birth. These hospitals lay you on your back to give birth and that’s incorrect!! They willl NOT allow you to do squat position! Please do a home birth. And do not disconnect the placenta from your baby. It will come off naturally after your baby completely absorb the nutrients from the placenta. Do not give it to the hospital either. All they will do is sell it for money! And use it in a lab 🧪
