Brilliant I love Wales I moved here 6 months ago I'm currently in the south Wales in the valleys . But I've traveled most Wales. I spent just over a month in the Gower last year . I waited all my life to fall in love visited Wales fell in love . Went back to Suffolk and felt home sick for Wales my heart was hurting . I left everything and everyone behind me my boys we made unanimous desotion to move here. I'm not English I'm Sicilian and was born bread in Sicily and Wales is the closest to home I can get . I would never go back to England. Love Wales and the Welsh.

I know quite a few Welsh ended up in South America to start sheep farming. Wales was (and still is) quite a small country and there's not that many of us around the world. It's definitely worth visiting some time.

Yeah, top 5 for me after spending 6 months there are: 1. People are super welcoming and extremely nice 2. Hill forts, which there are many, especially the ones not frequently visited, some of the best of which have stunning views of the Beacons. Pen y Crug comes to mind, as does Twyn y Gaer, not the one in the Beacons, but the one by Skirrid 3. Elan valley in the winter when the dams are spilling over. Amazing place 4. Devil's Bridge. Costs a couple pound to do the trails on either side of the road, both of which are well worth the few quid required for entry 5. Llyn y Fan Fach, totally amazing place, hard to get to and incredibly scenic

We loved Wales on our visit last year - you've covered most of them! Our highlights were the Brecon Beacons, Mount Snowdon, Anglesey, the castles of King Edward (a World Heritage site!), and a gorgeous beach we went to down in the south-east that I can't remember the name of!

Sorry I meant south-west! It was Barafundle Bay I was thinking of, though we also loved Ty Coch beach up in the north-west. I think we spent two nights in Cardiff though, visited St Fagans and the Big Pit on the way in! Just a few days before the European Cup final last year, so a great atmosphere in the city as well

not wanting to get too political but (most) of the castles were built to wage war against the welsh who were constantly fighting english invasion, it was called the ring of steel and wales has more castles per head of population than anywhere small history lesson but if you visit dig deeper👍

Wales is closer to London, Cardiff the capital is just over 2 hours by train from London. Cardiff has it's own castle, we do have a link to this on our You Tube channel. The coastline of West Wales is beautiful with the coastal walk along the rugged cliffs and there are some pretty little seaside towns like Tenby, Pembroke castle is also very impressive.

Hi, thanks for watching. From London, Cardiff is only a couple of hours by train from Paddington. This has Cardiff Castle, museums and St Fagans Welsh Life museum, all are worth a visit. Brains beer is the name of the local Cardiff Brewery SA Brains (Brain was just the man's surname), luckily no real brains involved! Although it was often referred to as 'Skull Attack'!! That place at the end was on a farm, so a real sheep could've shown up.

In North Wales the weather is better - we don't have rain, only liquid sunshine; the last snow melted last week. The climate is equable - there is at least one vineyard producing really good wine; we have bigger, better, World Heritage castles and the finest walled town in Britain, the best Tudor town house in the country, the greatest little railways in Britain and the biggest mountains south of Hadrian's wall. The wildlife is varied with ravens, kites, ospreys, martens, otters and many others - if you don't see at least one baby dragon, you are not doing very well.

Depends on where you live west and north a lot more Welsh spoken I live in the gwendreath valley ..where 80% are welsh speakers you will hear welsh and English spoken ....parts of north Wales are 99% welsh speakers ...most of south Wales lost the language due to industrial trade ...and the major townships Cardiff Newport Swansea ...but as you enter dyfed ..all the signs will become welsh 1st a sign that your in Welsh speaking areas ....Wales has a population of 3 Million ....with only 600 thousand fluent welsh speakers ...but ...most of the population is in the three cities .....in average land mass Wales is 7% populated ..so lots of open space but if you want to hear the langague spoken openly head to west or as it's 1 st langague for most appart south walians ....;) north ....Carmarthen .Llanelli .ammanford ..aberareon ..Ceredigion. Powys and all north west from Conway to Anglesey to aberwystyh you will hear the Celtic tongue spoken.....enjoy
