I've visited China four times and saw different regions. Every time I've visited... I've seen big improvements. The greening of the city is very good, and there are many electric cars on the street, which proves that the Chinese government attaches great importance to environmental protection. What impresses me the most is that life is very convenient, a cashless society, the subway system is very new and clean, and the people are very friendly.Other than some culture shock, I feel China is very safe. You can also go out late at night. China's technological level is beyond my imagination. I feel that the future is in China.
yeah, Electrochemical do help reduce fossil fuel pollution and carbon emission, cuz electric in China comes from hydroelectric power, which cause less pollution but rely on natural terrain.@@voonjanted5043
This is due to the long-term accusation by American media that China's development pollutes the environment. As a result, China's environmental protection policy has become stricter and stricter.
30 years ago, when I first arrived in Shanghai, China. I felt cool, I felt China was still behind us. There was a very small subway system. After that, I saw big changed every few years I went there. And the last time I traveled to Shanghai, and six other cities. I felt China is the future. We travel to the future. The US is falling far behind, sadly but truely.
I feel proud when Westerners visit China and make positive videos of their visits rather than those false negatively videos by the western media. Thank you. 🙏 I'm from Malaysia by the way and even though we are a Muslim country we are very modern as we are a multicultural country.
China is the most fancy and beautiful place for my traveling around asia. This is a high-quality country keeping the best balance about the environment, living standard, convenience, scenery, price. You can enjoy the modern city, the clean and quiet countryside, the wide grassland, the high-altitude snowy mountains, the endless bamboo sea, the clear lakes and the beautiful desert. Whether from the city or the countryside, the facilities are very complete. Another such country is Japan, but the prices in Japan are relatively high, and the scenery is not so diversified. I also like Japan very much. Although I have returned to my home country, I have always missed life in China and the electric bicycle I stayed there.
When I was in China a few months ago, I stayed at the same hotel "Holiday Inn Express ❤. Actually I love the hotel and the food was amazing ❤. I really enjoyed it 👍. The language barrier is a bit of a troubled thing ❤. But I really enjoyed my days in China 🌸.
Amazing to find your channel , I typed in 144 China visa and up you come . This is exactly what I needed as we’re desperate to visit China . Being in our early 50s you get slightly more nervous than you would when young and free lol . Basically we can fly from London to Shanghai for a few days providing we have an onward travel ticket and accommodation booked . That’s pretty straightforward, thanks again for this mega helpful video
@anglohan5428Tibet has already been freed from pedophilic Dalai Lama. Hong Kong has already been freed from pro-anarchy terrorists. The Uighurs in Xinjiang have already freed from Islamic radical thoughts. Now Taiwan province has to freed be from american puppet Tsai. Your brain must also be freed from falsities. Taiwan is not an independent sovereignty, as stipulated in the UN charter.
❤ Shanghai is a magical city. The longest distance from east to west is 100 km. New and old buildings, culture, and society are integrated with diversity. Everything is unique! ❤
@anglohan5428 This “Chinese bot” is from Singapore. I guess anything that seems remotely pro-China, or in praise of China is considered a CCP bot or a Chinese agent. Brainwashing makes people kinda stupid. 😂😂
@anglohan5428 Do you have proof? Oh you just repeat the lies of the Western media.... An Italian RU-vid citizen has been in China for 6 months and shows the reality of those people... Even US citizens live in China and they live happy with a Good life.......
This is a lovely video for a UK family unfamiliar with China first went to Shanghai. China is a country based on community so with young family members along that is the best proof how safe, convenient, easy and friendly is China. Chinese style food will be a lot cheaper if one has to careful with budget.
As Shanghainese living in Melbourne Australia, our family watched this video together and enjoyed! and we laughed😂 so much through the video. Good to see Shanghai through this video again :)❤
It's the most crowded moment on National Day holiday. especially in Shanghai, Beijing and other famous destinations. There are various scene, food, history in different province of China. welcome your family to explore and wish you have a nice trip.
The surrounding cities nearby are very beautiful too…. Hangzhou… Suzhou… and some towns nearby with canals along which is a very traditional China back in the ancient city…
Really can't blame you for being blown away by Shanghai. I wish more people in the world would get to visit the city. That 144-hour transit is actually pretty sweet!
@anglohan5428 Haha, "Whataboutism" is an excuse for those who have lost the argument and cannot think of any other counterargument. You still haven't answered the question of picking and choosing a people/group to defend.
In July 2023 I visited Shanghai with the 144hr visa. My initial ticket I purchased got rejected by the check in staff as it was Seoul- Guangzhou- Shanghai, the Chinese visa rules is you must go directly. Once I landed in China the immigration were friendly and super professional. I thoroughly enjoyed Shanghai , great city.
it's extremely hurtful to chinese people to hear nothing but negative comments from western media. From those who hates china, sees China negatively, without being here in person. thank you for showing the world how china really is. And how friendly people are.
Great vlog guys well done your daughters are so cute and getting the education of their life they really are a part of your vlogs enjoy guys and best of luck...
I am glad you guys have plugged up courage and visit China after many negative reports from the western media. You have a lovely family with obviously curious minds to see the country that the west condemns. Hope you enjoy your trip and love to hear your honest opinions on China. 👍👍 From HK. Shanghai is one of the busiest cuties in China and as you have noticed it is extremely busy and that shows the reports from the west that 'China's economy is collapsing' theory right out the window.
Very nice video. Last time I visited China was back in 2002. Seeing your video and Josie's really shows how much has changed and improved. Hopefully I can revisit again in the future.
Shanghai and all of China’s 1st, 2nd and even 3rd tier cities, make my island-nation of Singapore look like a sleepy backwater village. China is so futuristic. It IS the future.
Singapore is more promoted by the western media because of their colonial past and alliance with the Americans, which doesn’t mean it’s the best in every single way. I’m okay that not a lot of people know what China really looks like, since there are already too many people here even with a slowing birth rate, but visiting and traveling is welcomed, thx.
I visited China in 2007, and even back then it was way ahead of anything my country could offer. And its pace of progress since then has only accelerated, if anything. Good on them for moving ahead as a country, something that cannot be said for many other countries in the ‘developed’ world. As a family, you will definitely appreciate the safety aspect over there, but the same can also be said for quite a few countries in SE Asia.
It is really great to see such an enthusiastic and gungho couple! Have a great time in China. Hope you will come back again, but for more than 144 hours! 🤗
It's so exciting to see you family navigating and enjoying Shanghai. Could not wait to learn more what other fun things you do while you are there. 2 days seem to be too short .... Good luck
You have a lovely family and I'm glad to see the British people have an honest view of China, usually we see British news accusing China of not doing things the Western way. I hope more and more British people will come to China to see it with their own eyes.
You are the people I am talking about, you must go and see the places you mentioned. So, if you actually speak for the people out there, you'll ask better, more relevant questions. Stop your hegemonic rhetoric and take a good look at yourself.@anglohan5428
Highly recommended to you, take the girls to any one of the ancient water-towns close to Shanghai, some back to thousand of years but is tourist attraction now, just ask your hotel for the information. One of the ancient water town very close is Zhujiajiao 朱家角古鎮,take subway line #2 to Hongqiao Railway Station, connect subway line #17 (approximately 40 minutes). Good luck and have fun in my hometown.
Thank you for showing me my hometown as I have not back home for 7 years. You picked up the buiest travel season to visit Shanghai as many people from other cities would take that national day holiday to visit Shanghai as well. Hope you enjoyed and share the experience to more people in your country.
Thanks for the upload! The city looks absolutely awesome. If only people would turn off the junk mass media. No wonder RU-vid et al are cracking down on people. Soon such content as this will be banned. So glad you enjoyed your trip!
This reminds me of taking my two older kids to China for the first time, visiting both Beijing and Shanghai when they were 4 and 6. The difference is that I do speak the language. To me, Shanghai and Shenzhen are the best cities to visit.
At the same time, some anti-China people who had never been to China posted videos saying that there were no tourists on the streets of China and that the economy was about to collapse.
Hi and thank you so much for this video, I just happened to find your channel. Your family video here highlighting China is really wonderful, God bless you all, Mario
the best thing of china is due to the cultural diversity, all the major cities are very different. Shanghai is definitely the most modern city in China.
Worst thing that could happen is you have to pay rebooking fee to leave to your final destination right away. But who would not love up to 144hrs (6days) in SHANGHAI China.
WOW. What a journey, You´ve travelled all the way, despite all odds, from Bangkok to China on an airplane!OMG. This is amazing. And as a family of 5! That is truely incredibly.
I lived in Shanghai for 9 years.... was a life changing positive experience. I went in with an open mind, and absolutely no regrets! I'm now considering retiring in China in fact. The smaller cities are incredibly cheap.
Wow your enthusiasm for travel adventures is enjoyable viewing and inspires your viewers to see beauty of this world wherever we go. And everyone loves visitors with such cute kids.
Your lovely little cuties are becoming little celebrities in China, love that. Btw, for night views you guys definitely should go Chongqing, absolutely cyberpunk and 6D.
Glad your whole family is enjoying the first visit to Shanghai China. Hope more of your country people will visit China to have a new perspective of China. Huge progress within such a short span of modernisation. A country with rich history, civilisation and culture. Amen om mani Padme hung
Great Video! I also remember being surprised by not hearing the e-bikes about to pass at full speed when I first came to China, it takes a while to get used to watching out for them! Love to see people visiting China for the first time, the Bund is incredible but you are very brave travelling during the National Holiday! The temperature in Shanghai does get intense and up to 35-40 in the summer months but it's just nice at this time of year. Enjoy the rest of your travels 👍
If you don’t have much time in Shanghai, I recommend exploring the French concession area on a shared bike or just walking around, those streets are full of big trees, unique architecture, nice little cafes, shops and restaurants
Just came back from Shanghai. Loving it.. The infrastructure and buildings, the foods and the night view at the bund was amazing. The only thing is I do not have a bank account in China. I can't use the wechat to pay. So only using cash. People there only carry little or no cash there... Only their phone. ❤❤also.. Lots of electric car..
I have been to China several times ,and different places throughout,I must say China is an amazing country,I hope u must have enjoyed your stay in China...😅
Great video. Glad you loved Shanghai! Liked. Subscribed. Not everyone is as fortunate to have the chance to see Shanghai in the 21 st century. Maybe someday, you or your girls might move to Shanghai. Yes!
i highly recommend Zhujiaqiao, it's an ancient town in the outskirts, the village looks more or less the same as 1000 years ago, the view and atmosphere are incredible
welcome to China mate sorry for inconvenient , yep Google maps doesn't work in China but Apple maps works , local SIM is not a good option as well, I suggest use roaming or esim instead coz it's able to access any social media our country banned ,hope this helps
Have been to China 5 times firstly in 2008. Flew to Nanning via Beijing. Spent my time in the city of Liuhzhou in Guangxi province getting to know my future wife whom I met on line. I was there for the 2009 Chinese New Year celebrations a very rewarding experience. My wife lives with me in British Isles and we have been together since 2009. We try to go back to China every two years. Have seen Great Wall the Forbidden City, the Giant Panda reservation etc but still more to see. I love the Chinese countryside and get on with many Chinese people when there. Hope many enjoy the experience as I do
To really appreciate the night view of Hong Kong, has to go to the peak, walk on the paths on the peak to look down the Victoria harbour ,then you can get a full gorgeous view
Lovely girls! Good to know you had a great time in China and know what is really like there. Hope you can visit Hong Kong sometime too if you have not 😊
your kids sooo cute😊. and welcome to my second home. I escaped SH and went back HK during the national holiday 😂 way too many people. Please try explore other cities to see what China got to offer
I feel very sad when I compare traveling to China as an adventure for you, and I am also angry at the false reports of China by British and Western media. Although the Chinese government is very vigilant about certain political remarks, for tourists, China is the safest country in the world.
If the Chinese government's approach were radical, extreme, inhumane, and full of surveillance and slavery, then Chinese society and people would not behave like they do now. Basic logical judgment can easily expose the lies of the British and American media.
@anglohan5428 Go talk to the United Nations in Europe and America. Talking is useless. According to world values, Tibet and Taiwan are both provinces of China. Even if the Palestinian state is recognized by the United Nations, it cannot be established. What do you care about? Human garbage, a rat in the eyes of 1.4 billion people.
Really like your vlog. Cozy background music, real experssion. Have a nice stay in China ! Hav fun and explore more here. Chinese people are always friendly ready to help.
