The two that shocked me the most was Katelyn not getting "I love you. I know" and Evan not getting "...waffles". I don't think you even needed to see either of those movies to know those. They're like EVERYWHERE! Funny how when you play games like this, your mind has to head in the right direction or you're not gonna get it. Good game guys!

I think youre doing the right thing diversifying. I think the key thing that you do is not keep it all on RU-vid. Like when I listen to Bob (THE Bob) talk about it. He seems to speak more about media types and platforms. Not just keeping it all on RU-vid. If RU-vid decided to stop paying people overnight, there would be other platforms\income coming in. You covered a lot of important business topics today, but one you touched on and didn't go too deeply into is the sunk-cost fallacy, where you over-value the time you've spent with something (taxes, or more specifically, learning how to do them correctly and accurately), and don't value the time or value you get back by buying something new (or having someone do your taxes for you). Of course, giving business lessons isn't the primary focus of the podcast, so I can't blame you for not diving too deep with it! I do think your willingness to start exploring options for outsourcing, while tough to let happen, are going to prove to be important going forward, especially to keep up with all y'all's ambitions! There are only so many hours in the week, and don't forget to sleep! I did...poorly in this game, ha ha! I'm not as much of a movie guy as I am a music guy, so I was in trouble from the get-go, but even on some of the movies I've seen (Shrek, for example), I didn't get them...My first thought for "'I love you,' 'I know,'" was actually Return of the Jedi, even though it was said in the Empire Strikes Back first; I think I just like the scene in Jedi better! Others have already mentioned the frame sneaking in periodically, but I'll mention it again. Despite that technical glitch, it was still a very enjoyable podcast!

Evan... for the record it's in both Star Wars Empire Strikes Back AND Return of the Jedi. The first time it was Leia that says I love you, and it was Han that says I know just before getting frozen in carbonite. In jedi, it's Han that says it and Leia replies with I know wearing a little smirk on her face. So technically it's in more than one movie ;-) And Katelyn... I was yelling at you through my monitor. That is one of the most iconic lines from Ferris.... !!!!!!

I've been listening to the Podcasts since you mentioned there was a Google Podcast app for Android (previously didn't know so wasn't listening to any podcasts). I'm all caught up on yours and I only have 5 left til I am all caught up on No Instructions. On SEO - My new CNC arrived yesterday! 750x750 Open Source locally made version of the X-Carve because the cost of shipping an X-Carve to Australia is... well basically it would be cheaper for you to buy 3 of the largest X-Carves with all the options. So I still need to clear space in the garage to set it up/build it but I yesterday I was looking at "how can I take designs from Fusion360 and get them into Easel to run this CNC" when I put them together and googling the first hit was your tutorial... on Instructables

Looked like Katelyn removing headphones from the start of the video .(.could have been a streaming issue my side ) Game idea.."The movie game!"(great title huh?) We used to play this when I was freelancing as a Modelmaker ...So bare with me on this .. You take two apparently unrelated film stars and you have to make a movie trail to link one to the other.. So here's how that works .. Task: link Michael J fox to Robert Downey Jr.... Okay so Micheal J Fox was in The Frighteners,which was directed by Peter Jackson..Peter Jackson directed Lord of the Rings..lord of the rings had Sean Austin ..Sean Austin was in Goonies which was directed by Steven Spielberg..Steven Spielberg Directed AI ..AI had Jude Law , Jude law acted oppsite Robert Downey Jr in Sherlock Holmes ..and your done! Not exactly a scoring type game but a good mental excersise and interesting hearing the route people take ..also somtimes there are super short link and other times they can seriously zig and zag. Also I was a Pixel evan Kate and mokey shirt one day:) ..is Mokey named after the fraggle?

Oh man haha I bet we would both be really bad at that game which might make it hilarious!! That's weird about the glitch, a few people have mentioned it but we don't see it on our end... So strange! Mochi is actually spelled like the Japanese dessert but spelled like Mocha with an i... Her original name was Mochi Bear because she looked like a little dark bear and I thought Mochi was cuter than Mocha. Haha weird logic

On the gaming livestreams, I'm in the UK so very rarely can watch live (for many twitch streamers that I watch) but I still like to watch the whole streams the next day or whenever I feel like it. Not sure about others or the direction you want to take E&K Gaming on youtube but I personally am not interested in highlights video if I can watch the full stream on twitch the next day or so.

Hey. Interesting. But .... actually this is how you start a business. You get your vision. You start doing it. You create in your mind a process vision and an organizational structure vision, a revenue vision. You learn, grow, evolve. You wear all the hats -- but you name the hats -- your cheat sheets are job descriptions -- you wear the hats until you find the right people, one at a time, to wear some of those hats and take some of the load off your shoulders. Don't think of it as outsourcing. Think of it as managing an organizational structure that is internet-online and spread out. Temporary contract employees are still employees needing leadership, culture and vision. They WANT to get involved and they want to see you guys succeed -- only they are thinking they want to see "US SUCCEED". People like to belong to something. They want to be on a team. They want to be a player on a championship team. WAY TO GO. It is so fun to watch you guys evolve. How about "We don't need no stinking badges" What movie?

@@EvanandKatelynPodcast There is no reason you can't have a company that is creative, laid back and fun to work for -- the trick is to wear all the hats until you find someone who can do a better job than you, wearing one of those hats, who catches and appreciates the vision, the ambiance, the "culture", and wants to be a part of it. You are the coach. You are building a team. You are the one giving the half time pep talk. Don't think of it as a "task". Think of it as a fun challenge. It is really fun to coach and mentor, and bring people along. It does not matter if they are part time contract employees -- if your company takes off and succeeds that can change. They are on the team. You want them to be fully involved and engaged. Anyway, it is just a thought. Here is another quote from the same movie: "My name is Jim. But most people call me ... Jim."
