I went to Cuba just last March 2 years after this show and the Cubans were still buzzing from this concert. Stones posters, t-shirts and Stones art everywhere. I spoke to several Cubans on the street and they said the all the Stones walked the streets of Havana and mixed right in with the people, going to bars, listening to Cuban music, Jagger dancing with the locals and talking to anyone who approached them. These two Cuban bycicle taxi drivers were so emotional telling me about seeing the Stones mixing it up on the streets of Havana with the locals that tears of joy came to all our eyes. Ask any Cuban about the Rolling Stones and most from Havana went to see the show or listen outside. Greatest band and make no mistake about the Cubans, they're some of the greatest people I've ever met.
And what is the greatness of the Cubans? People allowed the Castro brothers to rule them for almost 70 years. At the same time, they allowed them to be dictators and bring their country to complete poverty
I love you guys! I was there and I was a 23 year old girl. I felt I couldn't do anything but cry it was a surreal amazing moment. Thank you for making history and making the most amazing times in my life
@Deane Hill and so did i , every time i listen to them it's like a leap in time , like a gleam from the past that re-emerges for a few moments.. what a wonderful and magical feeling !!
This is what I love about the Rolling Stones!!! Mick owns the stage like no other and Keith NEVER fails to find that "thing" in a song that nobody else can find!
@@toddpryll7524 y es un álbum excelente, como hecho en los 70s. La voz de Mick, colaboraciones de Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Steve Wonder, Elton John. En dos pistas participan Charlie Watts y Bill Wyman.
I keep comming back to this breathtaking performance over and over again. This is even better than the album version! Reaction of the audience....video...audio....everything is awesome!
It’s magical, because listening to The Rolling Stones was illegal in Cuba for a long period of time. They finally got to see the Stones live. This is beautiful, 1,2 million people listening to the greatest band of all time. Pura bellesa, esa noche.
I'll drink to that ,? but I'll let Keith have it. Mick is still bouncing ,saw him yrs ago at MSG NYC n a plastic huge form of a penis ,he jumped on it n he was getting busy. funny as hell but I wanted that Mick energy all my life . wish they had it in a bottle. be good be safe...☮️💕

They are the greatest RR band that ever lived. Have seen them 6 times. I was at their first US show in Lynn Massachusetts, was the 60s and got tear gassed. Last year I attended their Seattle performance. They were better than their first concert. 60,000 people singing every song. Magical.
I have been in love with that man ever since I was 14. I am now 67 and the love affair still continues. He is the only man that could give me butterflies! Love ya Mick
Definitely my favorite Rolling Stones Tune! I was young I was foolish angry vein charming & lucky.. What's changed? Well I'm out of control! Lord Help Me Now! Some days in my Journey I feel emotionally Inside out & Out of Control & I always say, "Lord Help Me Now!" Greatest Rock Band In The World!
I just can't get enough of "the boys"! Out of control, Midnight Rambler, Can't You hear Me Knocking and so many more! God bless these "old men" and keep them playing great music!
This is one of the best live tunes the Stones performed, in the most memorable venue ever. First Rock N Roll concert ever live Communist Cuba. Rock on forever!!
If you say RIo you don’t know what’s going on man. Die you ever got busted for listening to the Stones.? They did ! There was in the air that night in Havanna..........MAGIC
Fantastic performance! Absolutely electric response from the audience, wonderful how the intensity and energy build throughout the song - and I love the dynamic between the musicians. Bravo Tutti! Really inspring!!
The Rolling Stones are rock and roll. They are the greatest rock and roll band ever and nobody will beat them. No musical act today even comes near them! People say tht the beatles are the best wen they didnt even make it out of the 60's and Led Zeppelin doesnt even come close either. The Stones should be able to live forever. Love them!!
Cameron Grilione Led Zeppelin could run circles around the Stones and no one would care. The stones certainly wont and led Zeppelin wont try to,its because shit like this which people like you spew that r and r is dead
I was out in the city I was out in the rain I was feeling down hearted I was drinking again I was standing by the bridges Where the dark water flows I was talking to a stranger About times long ago I was young I was foolish I was angry I was vain I was charming I was lucky Tell me how have I changed Now I'm out Oh out of control Now I'm out Oh out of control Oh help me now And the girls in the doorway And the boys in the game And the drunks and the homeless They all know me And the police on the corner Give a nod and a wave As they point me To my final destination I was young I was foolish I was angry I was vain I was charming Feeling lucky Tell me how have I changed Now I'm out Oh out of control Now I'm out Oh out of control Oh help me now In the hotel I'm excited By the smile on her face But I wondered How was time Gonna change her I was young I was foolish I was angry I was vain I was charming I was out there Tell me how have I changed Now I'm out Oh out of control Oh I'm out Oh out of control
one of best rnr lyric erver, beside simple man,LS, and Lady in black...... but this is 90s sound and groove....there are doo great job for normal people around world and god have reason why thay still keep and play ---offensive, withouth control ....pAZ,mir, from eastern croatia.....
Never heard this track before but absolutely love it! These guys are legends in the real term, and adored all over the world and have contributed so much to music and people's lives. Fantastic!
Me too... still get goosebumps, Havana was the most amazing concert ever the energy that night was cosmic! It was a full moon! Can't wait to see it again on the big screen next Friday Sep 23 worldwide!
@@mitchgawlik1175 he's under appreciated cause he's been with them 29 years and they don't make him a stone and let him earn the big money. What's it matter to them? They closer to 80 than 70 ( except Ronnie) so let the man reap the rewards of 29 years loyalty,he's been with them as long as Bill was
He's absolutely electric. He blows those chilling, plantive notes on the harmonica, prances out to the small stage to sing; turns around, hands off to Keith Richards like a tag--team match; Keith plays some of his best, and Mick has to come back and blow some more; twice. He makes Keith laugh. Havana, fucking, Cuba, ya'll. What a night.
Yes here I am again! Simply in love with this man in a million new ways!!!What a complete showman of the end th degree!!!! Thank you for giving me pure joy during this life!!! You and the band are the best!!! I grew up in the music biz in LA and I’ve never ever heard such great meaningful music!!! You are not at all selfish stars only concerned with yourselves! You have inner joy with all yr music and share that with us! Love you for that! Love forever, Lynn❤❤❤❤
The Glimmer Twins looking menacing together is as always classic. The magnitude of what these two blokes gave the Rock and Roll we love cannot be exaggerated.
Have this concert recorded in 4k and watch it at least once a week on VERY LOUD!! Saw them 25 years ago and was amazed at their energy now - just phenomenal they are still rocking this well and with this much energy!!
Mick Jagger is the best stage performer in the world love the Rolling Stones he is natural n gifted n a good leader i am 69 now n watching them from the woodstock days love them n their music from South Africa 🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩🤩
I like it when they do more of the newer songs. I've heard Brown Sugar, Sympathy, Satisfaction and others enough for two lifetime's worth. This feels fresher, more immediate.
They are greastest EVER ! I was very lucky to have seen them 3 times live. I was right in front at a general admission Music Event With 3 bands as openers for the STONES....I was one of the few that saw Prince as the opening performer when he had his big moment on the STONES Tticket. He was amazing...with J. Cayles and Thergood 4 Bands 1 show. Then they have Guns and Roses open for them....Amazing... A concert in itself.....then THE ROLLING STONES.....TO ME is the greasest rock and roll band Ever....hands down......they include the audiance Mick is on a boom lift and there all running up and down the 3 to 4 stges they have going out......II listen toI them every day.....I will miss them so much..it truley brings tears to my eyes....I miss Charlie Woods....what a ride.....all of them......and they said we wont last 3 months and 3 yesrs later they were the biggest band in Europe......they have always been there for ME...... WHEN WORDS FAIL MUSIC SPEAKS....... MUCH LOVE TO STONES THANK YOU.
Europe mate?, the planet more like, set the standard for the live shows/tour model, it didn't get any bigger, the list of act's that were given a support slot reads for some list of act's/ band's, imitated often but never bettered
Just amazing, these guys keeping it on point after all these years. So awesome that they have been able to share their music in places they were once banned!
