This version is honestly one of my favorite versions of this song ever recorded. The way Darrell Jones comes out of nowhere with that incredible bass playing is amazing. When you have Keith Richards stop playing and watch you play with a smile on his face like he does here you know you are doing it right.

😔Sadly Charlie Watts passed at age 80 early this am London time... last night late, I wasn't tired & was listening to classic rock & the Stones music kept popping up & then this fav song... "Missing You", so I sent it to a special musician friend just before I feel asleep... only to learn today, that Charlie had passed away into a better place time... so rock & roll heaven just gained another great musician... I can't really say RIP Charlie... because I hope you are partying it up with all your rock heaven buddies tonight! Thx for the last & best Stones concert ever... in Havana, March 2016, with amazing high vibes & a beautiful full moon in the sky!💗💥✌🏼🙏⚡🎶🌝👍

Well OK look at the "age" of the crowd they're turning on They are spirit and they've reached souls all over the world And across generations Here they're having a bit of fun on home turf. The Stones are ageless timeless You don't stop dancing because you get old You get old because you stop dancing. Look at some of the ages of the people buzzing off it. What does age matter ?? --------------------------------------- N.b. [midnight*[ ? Keith gets shitty about ramblers* going past his house Charlie enjoys working with the band but hates travelling Mick is a "sir" but somehow I can't see Keith calling him "sir" Ronnie is enjoying every wrinkle and being stuck in the 70's Legends.

I saw the stones on their first US tour in Rochester NY in the sixties. The crowd lost their minds , jumped out of their seats and strarted dancing in the isles , which was forbidden in those days. the show was stopped and a cop came on stage to tell everyone to sit down . Some kid near the front screamed Fuck you and threw his boot , hitting the cop in the forehead. At that point i grabbed the two girls i was with and made a bee line for the door. It was insane and electric. I saw them about four more times in later years, always amazing , always ROCK and ROLL , at it finest.

I was there with my first wife, Alice Boyle-Miller, for the first one in the late 60's, while I was living in the UK. My friend, filmmaker Tom Hughes from Alaska was visiting, and ended up filming huge chunks of the concert, from the foot of the stage. I have tons of still pics from the event and a one hour vhs tape Tom sent me, but have yet to transfer it to DVD. It's on my Things to Do List. Jethro Tull played, along with King Crimson - both new and unsigned bands. Incredible day. Wonderful memory.

Chip, as a hardcore Stones fan since 1963, who missed Hyde Park 1969, I would love to see that footage and stills. There is little or no footage from any of the other bands on that day, and there were many, which I am sure many fans would love to see too. I respectfully suggest you do a transfer to DVD as vhs tape degrades over time, as you know. If it's watchable, it is worth a bit to a collector, of course!

True love knows no time, no age, no numbers. I have loved Mick Jagger since I was a lil kid...all my life. I will always love him, no matter where he goes, or what he chooses to do. #MissYou is my all time fave... #MickLuv♡♡♡
