The one thing you can count on working without interruption is that damn bilge pump alarm. Sweet sound of pending doom...... Makes for an easy suspense filled edit but has to be the scariest sound in real life. Good to see you in good spirits with a full belly. Cheers!

Well done Sir! In my experience (which is light), the best and most capable sailors keep level-headed and calm in very serious and threatening circumstances. You've certainly done that, and managed to even be very gracious with your remaining food stores as well. Fair Winds!

@@jeremykamel9655 the Leeds Livapool canal is well worth a visit or Llangollen. Just check on the canal and river trust website for closures before booking. We have had a lot of flooding over the past two years and the network has taken a beating. I've lived on the canal for 8 year and love the life.

@@SAILINGintoFREEDOM Of course there are different degrees of adventure, you will probably go out of your mind on my next Catamaran, which will have an automated wing sail system, I have a "bad back" so I found a solution without all the rigging. Man you do it tough! Some people are singled out by pure dumb luck for life in a shitstorm of bad luck punctuated occasionally by good fortune, and I'm speaking from bitter experience. I dunno mate - you seem resilient enough but I bet it takes a toll at times. The fact that you're going through this on your own while your partner is off whooping it up in relative luxury somewhere is a bit cruel. You do a fantastic job on pretty much everything you do, so you're one of those unsung heroes especially seeing that you haven't had the luxury of being born with a silver spoon jammed up every orifice! Fantastic!

Thanks MT. Don’t worry she did it tough during Cuba and the exile series, have you seen those. That was very trying for her that I couldn’t manage to capture on video. I am glad she was not there suffering some more, perhaps it made me more single minded and pig headed just to keep going I am not sure but in the end I had a bit of luck because at the start it was tied for quite a while

@@SAILINGintoFREEDOM Yep! saw the exile series and I could see the tension, and it was quite palpable - in fact it looked like the relationship was broken - reading between the lines of course while paying attention to your satirical segues. Anyway, I hope things work out well although reality probably has other plans. I've always taken refuge in the truism: Life is a shit sandwich - the more bread you have, the less shit you have to eat! Bon appetit bro!
