I have watched a number of these videos. As a person from t he mainland that has visited Hawaii over 10 times, I am shocked at how the constituents are treated by the council. The Hawaiian gentleman, Mr Tamashiro, was obviously very upset about how they are being treated. It appears that big business has control of the governing body in this area and I feel sad for the people of Hawaii and this area.

There hasn't been a single U.S. or International Court decision that has declared the annexation as being illegal in 126+ years. Queen Liliuokalani (and her Royalists), President Cleveland (and his Anti-Annexationists), and British Minister Wodehouse (and his allies) couldn't make a successful legal challenge. Texas was an independent, sovereign country with diplomatic relations, treaties and so on. It fought a war with Mexico for its independence and won.
