Outcast - A New Beginning - Ulukaï Trailer 2022 

The opening music gives me goosebumps. It's so surreal that it's really happening after all these years. I was 12 years old and in the last grade of elementary school when i played Outcast 1, now i'm a 35 year old teacher and father of two....crazy stuff!

I had a feeling a new trailer was on the way, and it definitely didn't disappoint, now I'm even more excited 😎

1:32 That's the face I remember, I was so hyped at the original reveal of Outcast 2, only complaint I had was that his face seemed off not bad just not comparable, this trailer however shows a familiar looking Cutter Slade and I'm now even more hyped.

Mixed bag for me unfortunately. I still don't like Cutters face. What happened to his eyebrows? 😂 Dude needs some Wilkinson Pro shavers ASAP. And he still doesn't look like a Marine soldier. Talans look way too human for my taste. Where are the iconic (cat?) eyes and the head shape? Why do they have lips and human shaped teeth now when they didn't have any of it in the original game? They don't give me the alien species type of feeling anymore. It almost looks as if Disney bought the Outcast license. 😐 Another concern I have is the gameplay. It looks like Cutter is super fast and agile so I hope the world is big enough to compensate the fast movement. Outcast always felt so big to me. And what about the Daokas? Are the regions fully connected or do we have to use the Daokas to travel like we did in Outcast 1? I'd prefer the Daoka traveling because it gave me the immersion of a planet and made the different climatic zones appear natural. Also I hope they don't dumb down the gameplay with loot, waypoints and so on. I might sound pessimistic. I'm just concerned the devs go the mainstream route towards the Ubisoft formula or change things to a point where I can't recognize Outcast anymore. Exciting! I wonder who is the voice of Cutter.

Looks great, absolutely. But (there's always a "but" :P), will he have the cool sci-fi gadgets and stuff, like teleporter pads, placeable explosives, proxy mines, x-ray binoculars? :) He looks better than in the earlier trailer but very bushy eyebrows. (I'd wish for a more original-like Cutter tho). Oh, and not least, will he have the sarcastic humour and snide remarks?

Wenn maar das sagt dan muss es wohl stimmen.

🤔... sieht toll aus, aber ich weiß noch nicht was ich von der herumfliegerei halten soll. Ein Twon-ha ist mir glaub ich lieber.
