I have RTX 2070 8GB graphic card. In older versions, I always picked DX11. It gives me better performance. With DX12 I have seen so many FPS drops. That situation is happening with another games. Do you recommend to use DX12 with this new update of Squad. Is there any kind of positive effects on performance ? Thanks for the video and greetings from Türkiye 👋🏻🇹🇷
Hi there, i have checked dx12 with this v6 update and dx11 fps difference is minimal. However during mortar shelling even my fps dropped to 15. Squad still needs to be optimised. However in all aspects it is advisable to try dx12. Hardly it will require a game restart. Thanks
I have an RTX 2060 and when I use FSR 2 my FPS actually decreases vs having it off (no matter what quality setting I pick). It is better for FPS to disable Anti Aliasing instead of using FSR, since I think FSR enables AA which nukes performance.
DX12 has always been an issue specifically for Squad, causes alot of crashes etc. I've got a 3080 and stick with DX11. Idk the difference tbh but I do know I never have issues with 11. Actually speaking of the devil - I swapped to 12 out of curiousity, game had me do a force restart and upon after relaunching its completely froze and cant even end task 😂😂 Jinxed myself
this new update, when i aim i get huge fps drops with the scopes rework etc. I will wait for you to test the new version and wait for a new video, until then won't play :)
Hi @Nasheer1998 , try settings of 5.1 once clear the settings cache. Switch between dx11/12. As a squadie i will request you to not stop playing this piece of art. The developers will surely get these issues fixed by a minor update.
@@TheGaz023I run on a i7 4790k and game runs good, but not with the setting this man used. I don’t use fsr in the game just in the gpu Radeon settings and the anti lag. I run 60+ at 1440p. I know all these RU-vidrs act like you need the latest and best but I was just playing on a gtx 1070 till the other day at high settings. Only a few maps I had to lower settings a bit. These youtubers must be paid to push all this nonsense about having to upgrade to the latest tech! Remember they get paid to advertise, same way they push amd because amd pays them a shit ton of money, but everyone knows intel is still king
Alot of people are saying the complete opposite for once, and I agree with them. That is the optimization with this update is GREAT finally, but alot of us seem to have issues fine tweaking the new scope settings (clarity/AA) I myself even after tuning still drop a few frames whenever I ADS.
Yes on some cards later one Dx12 has better performance. I had rtx 2070 on that dx11 was better performing but on rtx 3070ti dx 12 has better fidelity and fps and compared to dx11
