Yes, you can connect the Intel realsense t265 directly to Unreal Engine 5, however I doubt the result will be the same as with Aximmetry because Aximmetry already has parameters to optimize tracking. Right now, we're working on tutorials to post on our Patreon account, but we're starting with Aximmetry.
Yes, the Intel realsense tracker is no longer manufactured. Right now, I'm aware of two new tracker products: the HTC VIVE Mars CamTrack and the ReTracker Bliss. You should ask which tracker they recommend in the virtual production Facebook group, and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
There seems to always be a little too much parallax or background movement when it's hand-held, but if it weren't for that, this shot is 100% convincing. Having the actual sun hit you does wonders. Pretty amazing.
So cool. Do you use a regular USB 3 extension to connect the intel Realsense to the computer or do you need a special cable for that? And are you using the Atmos Ninja to record video in real time? Thanks again!
