I tow with a 2019 model, its a company car so makes good tax sense for me. It's extremely stable towing, no idea where they got the feeling that it's not stable. Yes towing with it is a little different, you tow with it in charge mode so it can rev a little higher than what you expect from a diesel or petrol when going up hills but it doesn't lack power. It returns around 25 mpg towing, the problem is has a small petrol tank so your always watching the level, this for me is it's only major failing.

Similarly Priced Audi & BMW ?! A similarly equipped Audi Q5 or BMW X5 is nearly twice as expensive in Denmark.

Hi, are u sure the towing capacity is 1500kg? Because in Canada Mitsubishi official website, it states 1500 Lbs, so just want to know, because im interested the PHev one..thx

G'day from Western Australia. Hey, great question. I think you might have spotted an error! I can confirm in Australia the specified braked towing capacity in 2024 is 1600kg! I guess the new model is up 100kg from the 1500kg quoted here. I also checked both the Canadian and US specs - they currently state 1500lbs although the US data was 2023. So I suggest you ask your local Mitsubishi agent if there is a mistake, and if not, why so low tow capacity. I also spotted one comment on one site saying that the battery isn't used when towing.

So if i was to buy one of these to tow my caravan the 320m trip down to Cornwall it would only do 24mpg ....that doesn't seem too frugal to me as I know a L322/l405 Range Rover with a 4.4 v8 twin turbo would reach around 30mpg on that long run....I know these are free to tax but I would happily pay £605 for the extra year round comfort. They are not making sense to me just yet.

Why would anyone buy this very limited suv over the far superior many competitors? No you wouldn’t and certainly not for towing any caravan.

Why buy a morbidly obese unpleasant looking suv like this. Mitsubishi vehicles are so off the pace in design and engineering they will continue to woefully perform in the world markets needing to be rescued again to survive. Targeting caravaners with this undesirable lump is a desperate sales pitch showing their desperation to get any more sales when it can only get 2 stars or 3 if lucky from serious tow car tests and awards. 🤔👎

??? Only 79.8% tow match as maximum for such a big heavy car, 1500 🤣 Nose weight limit extremely low 75 🤔🤣 Unrefined petrol engine with under 30 miles electric! It’s mediocre yester year technology pretending to be today’s advanced that is not up to towing the majority of today’s bigger c’vans including my own unless an Alpine or something little larger but still smallish to light mid. For middle aged or older people who don’t know any better about far superior advanced vehicles on the road for the money that will also retain their value a hell of a lot better. (Wider family had tried Mits Lancer/Charisma - so inappropriately named /ASX, all were woeful and got rid of.)

Why does the Club employ this drab boring presenter.. He's so boring, his vocabulary leaves a lot to be desired. As Morecambe and Wise used to say: "Get him off"
