Extended timeline is such a great idea but the game is just not built for this long time period its very buggy and unbalanced ime

Yeah probably best idea to do something from earlier in history. I think the AI can't deal with the super stacks for some reason.

I'm 99% sure that't mod, not ai fault. I fought a few times in mp against 1M troops AI in ex-player countries and believe me, that's even harder than fighting player because of amout of micromanagement it can do xD

I only opened this mod once, started in like I think it was 300 year as Wei (one of Chinese) then I wanted to dev my province once... over 200 cost. Because it's so prolonged, at early dates you can do barely anything, expansion is super sluggish and wars on 0.5 morale are joke, you can't even dev really. Playing on dates after base eu4 is also weird, especially AI that just does not work with this mod

@@ZlewikkTV Just put it on 1.32 and it will work fine (although I don't think its possible to win as Poland without losing both wars in that case).

There is a bug in the extended timeline mod currently where the AIs for the modern start dates, especially large nations with large armies, do not move their troops. That is probably why Germany and the Soviets were really inactive, as shown in 5:15

It's really unfortunate because Extended Timeline is a great mod to play with but inactive AI armies makes the game unchallenging even for the newest players, thus making the mod unplayable at the current moment

It was the Norwegians and Danes that invaded the British isles for the most part, the Swedes mostly went eastwards.

It's only slightly historical, but here's an idea I've had for a while: -Start as Oirat. -Trigger Tumu Crisis. -Tag-switch to Ming and try to prevent (or recover from) the Mingplosion. Another one you could do in Extended Timeline mod could be re-uniting the Eastern and Western Roman Empires.

That was a mental shortcut as war indeed ended up upon capitulation, but it was a capitulation of the last fighting units, not country as a whole (how could country capitulate when big chunk of most important polititians were already abroad? kekw)
