OUTRAGEOUS things passengers do on cruise ships 

As a man I find it completely disgusting for a married man to feel up a woman in front of his wife. It's completely disgusting for even a single man to do that to any woman without her consent.

The inappropriate touching is definitely the worst and is absolutely unacceptable. Although the poo incident was not nice the poor guy is likely to have been mortified and very embarrassed.

This was GREAT! The only thing I will say is this: It is worth losing your job to stand up to sexual harassment! And if you lose your job then that's not a place you want to work. How you handled it though was creative and PRICELESS!

By far and away most guests are respectful and polite. As the Passenger Services Director I catch more flak than anyone. We do our very best to make our guests happy but there are things we cannot do because its against company policy or its just not doable or worth it to the cruise line. Ultimately, its a business and must be run as such. I will not tolerate abuse of my employees either by profanity, or verbal or physical abuse. I will tell them I will contact the Hotel Director and have them talk to you. We run up the chain of command, as we don't send every problem to the captain. If the guest persists (sometimes they are intoxicated) I will call ship security who will advise the guest to stop the behavior and walk them to their cabin. Sometimes guests are locked in their cabin or as a last resort there are lockups on the ship (brigs, cells) for guests that are a danger to others or themselves. We don't want them trashing the cabin or setting fires. In some cases they are discharged from the ship at the next port or in severe cases the ship makes an unscheduled stop and are met by the police. Sad but true.

For me the worst one is you being assaulted by a passenger, its a deliberate act unlike the poo or sick one. Definitely gotten over my being nice phase and more into “no bs” phase. If that happened now to me, i would say out loud (not just for him to hear), “keep your hands to yourself or you both will have to leave, do you understand?” And i wouldnt continue until i got verbal agreement, then once it was over, go to supervisor and report incident and make sure its written down

LUCY, i am so sorry that any of this happened to you. I was a female corrections officer (working with men) and i dont have half the stories you do. People can "Look" normal - and then be totally off the wall. The worst (other than mr POOP) was the crew bar story. Cause they just wanted some excitement at your expense. SAD. Kathy from Canada

These stories are absolutely hilarious / terrifying. The guy on the massage table that was basically abusing you should have been thrown in the brig and kicked off at the next port. I laughed out loud at the nerve of the lady shoving all of the products in her bag after her massage! Shows some nerve! Hope you get a nice new contract soon - I was on the Scarlet Lady UK sailings in August and loved it!

Most bizarre one was the "old man" needing our help! Very creepy.

I just started watching your channel. I love your stories. It's a fascinating insight into the lives of the people who work on cruise ships. The first story of the couple being massaged. Is there a protocol for being molested by a passenger? He definitely should of been called out on it...The other massage stories were hilarious, although somewhat gross. Pointers for thiefs, only take the good shit! I'm not worried about "window licker" getting sick from germs. I'm more worried about the crazy germs he left! You're fantastic. keep up the great stories and advice. I'd love to sail Virgin sometime. If I see you I promise not to creep anyone out....

Watching this, it occurs to me your life should either be a movie or a tv series! Either way, a definite comedy! They have series about office workers, big box store workers, etc. AND, you have the personality and delivery skills to be a success!g

Hard to believe that some people don't recognize boundaries between passengers and crew. I learned long ago that you can't trust attention from people _who are paid to be nice to you_ . Like you said, you represent the ship even if you are off-duty. It's also not fair to impose yourself on the free time of crew members who spend all day putting your needs first.

I had a relationship that ended due to distance and it was the hardest thing ever. Nothing went wrong and we were great together. We're still great friends so it does have a happy ending so to speak.

What about a guest that stole a whole prosciutto from the buffet?! I saw him passing the pool very fast with the prosciutto under his arms and I was like "what the fuck?"😶 few seconds after some restaurant guys running after him ahaha!

The crew bar was the most outrageous, because they gate crashed, wouldn't leave when you explained, the had the audacity to complain about you saying that you invited them to the bar when you had been nothing but nice to them.

Now I know what a facepalm moment is....hearing your story about the guy who got sooooo relaxed by your massage that he basically let it all go.....maaaaaaaan, I literally had to pause the video, take off my glasses, facepalm, rub my temples, rub my eyes, all the while chuckling to myself while also shaking my head in horror and basically, take a bit of a pause before I could continue the video...I swear your stories are addictive.... 17:36 my wife and I were in the largest cabin on a Viking cruise (owner's suite) in 2019 and it came with certain privileges such as a custom excursion. Meanwhile, we had become quite chummy with the excursion coordinator. A couple of nights in a row, we noticed this one lady eating by herself (you don't see singles on Viking), so we ate with her. It turns out she was the wife of the excursion coordinator. So, we invited her to come along with us on our custom excursion. We could tell she really wanted to go as we had picked some non-customary stops. And we didn't think it would be an issue since techically she was not a member of the crew. Ultimately, Viking didn't allow her to come with us. This was very dissapointing as they were both very lovely people.

Girl, I used to work at a tanning bed place in my 20's and unbeknownst to me, he had shat on the bed and put the towel we provided in the trash. He walked out like nothing happened and I had to call my manager after he left. Tanning beds get hot so pretty sure he was drunk and got the shats. So disgusting. Who does that? Here's to never working in the spa on a cruise ship or tanning bed!

One night, several years ago on the Carnival Magic (although I'm sure this happens on every ship at some time or another), I had an extraordinary night in casino (paid for the whole cruise...that extraordinary...love those Quick Hit slot machines), and thus actually stayed in there until about 3:30 AM, when they closed. The casino was on Deck 5 and our traveling group's cabins were on Deck 9, and my S.O., (aka My Princess) and I decided we'd take the steps. On the steps, between Decks 7 and 8 we encountered a couple engaging in their own sort of "magic." Since they were oblivious to us as we got to the landing, we figured they wouldn't even notice if we walked right past them. We were right.

Having lived and worked in the resort area of Lake Tahoe for years, I'd probably be more comfortable hanging with the crew than being treated like one of the tourists. Those are my people.

As soon as I saw those passengers in the crew bar I would have asked them to leave, and I’d they resisted AT ALL I would have called security. Flat out.

I think the poo in the massage bed wasn’t even that outrageous. That’s just a natural mistake by your muscles being relaxed I guess if that makes sense ? Still gross BUT the dude licking the windows and then acting like nothing happened is definitely more disturbing than anything because he’s clearly got a few screws loose lol.

I think one way to deal with the sexual harassment is for your colleague to film him, and then make a complaint to your employer. The employer should then deal with him.

Wow, those were some stories Lucy. Its a shame that some people think that they can behave differently on a cruise ship compared to being on land. Also it wasn't fair that as a female masseuse you have to put up sexual advances from clients (Mostly Men). Awesome job on standing back on that guy and giving him the pissed off look. The sexual harassment one is definitely the worst. My concern is that, while you could stand up to him, other women on the ship could not. There are many female crew members on the ship from poor countries. Many may not know they can complain to the cruise line about his behaviour, because they may think they will lose their jobs if they do. I think that one way would have been for your colleague to pick up her phone and film him, (unless the CCTV cameras had captured the incident). That way you have evidence and you inform the cruise. They can take action against him. Your employers have a duty of care. I don’t know if they would have taken it seriously then, but with the Me Too movement, there is no way commercially a cruise line can allow this to happen to its crew. Passengers will start boycotting them if these incidents become known.

Anytime you deal with people (or even aware of your own body at times), you must be aware that bodily functions sometimes occur at unexpected times. It's just a fact of life, people get sick suddenly, people get hit with a diarrhea attack suddenly. I taught school for several years, EVERYTHING can and does happen. You deal with it respectfully, compassionately and professionally. If you can't, YOU are in the wrong line of work.

I wonder if that lady who took everything was my friend. LOL. She is so embarrassing. Whenever we go to a hotel, she takes everything. All the coffee/tea products. all the boxes of tissues. all the products from the bathroom including all rolls of toilet paper. I've seen her take batteries out of remotes. I once asked her why she was leaving the light bulbs and the bible. she hadn't thought of those. If we are someplace where someone has samples set out, she will take all of them.

On Oasis we were doing our 2AM last night wander ( it's our thing) of the ship, and went in the solarium and there in one of the big cabana chairs was a couple banging away like some Pornhub video. On another RCI it was "The Quest " game night. We were outside the venue and a couple came out , stripped completely 5 feet away from us. The poo on the massage bed is definitely the grossest, but that was at least unintentional (I hope!). Probably a normal "relaxed massage fart" that was unfortunately reinforced with some extra substance behind it. The guy licking the dirty windows was a deliberate action, so that's gotta take the cake for the grossest *deliberate* action, especially because he didn't display any shame at all. I assume that the poo guy was embarassed, but the window licker just carried on his business like nothing happened.

I don’t know which I think is the most outrageous, I do wonder if the windows guy was high though and I’d like to give the slow old guy the benefit of the doubt as I have back issues and my speed can be very variable or if I need to use a stick or not depending on a number of things including stress and if he was genuinely lost that is something that would seize me right up.

Hahaha,brought back so many memories from my time as a massage therapist on board...on my first week I did couples massage too,my client also shit herself...she was keep farting louder and louder..I was looking at my colleague..like is normal? I didn't know where to put the situation... especially that she didnt say a word and her husband didn't seem to bother either. When it was obvious that something is really" cooking" inside,I told her I think it'ss better if you go to the toilet. As soon as she stood up she shit herself...and she started to walk towards to the toilet which was at the corridor...it was everywhere...! I almost got fired cos her behaviour. Turned up she had diarrhea for days but she didn't tell anyone. Good old days😆
