Pro tip: if you’re planning on making a second character and don’t have some weapon or general armor mods you CAN transfer a piece of equipment from another character that has it. In other words, a “custom” weapon brought from character A to character B can be dismantled to get perpetual mobile early on.

The best survivability mod that no one is talking about is the one that gives you a shield when you drop to 30% HP. It only has a 5 sec CD. I literally never die now all because of that mod.

The only downside is that it kinda 'forces' you to not swap your weapon, and I love to do that to quickly adapt to different combat scenarios. Looking forward for more content!

Cryo turret can be clutch. Regarding cool down I can get a second turret down before the first one ends.

Just an addition to this, the amber vault legendary is crazy good for this build. It all but gives you +75% weapon damage so long as you are killing mobs constantly

B4 i saw this build my damage is nowhere even close to this but i was able to do a decent build using this video as reference with what i have and damn my damage went up like crazy. I cant even do hunts on t9 with my old build but im cruising real smooth with this one. thank you for this guide its amazing. hoping to see other builds from technomancer class.

Thanks for a good video, only issue im having is that every expedition ive gotten into wants you to stand in a small circle and get surrounded by mobs, doesnt really feel built for long range, which sucks.

So wen you build a new character you can easily put on your best mods on blue weapons from your main character and place them in storage. Dismantle those on your new character.. and done 👍can’t understand why players don’t do this

The turret has saved my arse, more times than should be admitted. As a boss is about to land the final blow.. freeze hits, I can run and counter with blight rounds or barrage. It’s been an enjoyable experience!

Did you figure all of this out yourself or were you using other resources to come up with this? I use ONLY TM and this guide was groundbreaking. I will post after applying principles. Thx man!

If you go Cryo Turret, you can freeze your mobs and in addition, there is part of the skill tree that inflicts "Vulnerable" on any enemy that gets frozen, and then there is another skill right next to it that extends Vulnerable an additional 30 seconds. That's pretty effective.

Been using the infinite volcanic rounds pyro build and it was doing decent then I swapped the extra mag mod for that stacking damage on kills mod took my dps up alot, also the sandstorm legendary auto rifle is insane, running t9 and my overall damage was 26 million and 9 mil of that was from sandstorm

Been struggling to keep Blighted Rounds active against bullet sponge bosses even with the spare mag and bullet refunds for kills. I'll find myself whitling them down and then going to search for an add to kill for the reload. I've been using the middle skill tree from the start mainly for survivability. I'll make the switch to the top tree with the LMG focused build and see how it improves my sustain. Great build advice 👍🏻

i recommend you try the minigun build with the mods that increase the ammo by 100%, and gives you anomaly power per kill so you kill 4-5 weak enemies and absolutely melt every boss

The voodoo makers ability is insane. Also the 30% of your anomoly is firepower is also really goof

Nice guide. The only question i have (my misundertanding i guess) is that why do we need at all "more weapon leech" if consider next: we have base 15% weap leech AND the damage numbers 100k+ shots (much higher even) but i take that value for easier math, so 1 such (and we do multiple per second basically) leeches 15k health (15% from 100k), which is basically full health. No? I mean, any other upgrade is better than "more life leech"? as we do "full health" each time we shoot.

You could use the cold snap mod where it increases your dmg on enemies effected by it

I maxed out a devastator to level 30, I decided to make a techno and Jesus Christ... the unlimited ammo from blighted rounds is so op... don’t think I will be going back to devastator

The only thing that worries me about playing tecnomancer is those times when you run out of Blighted Bullets because of some surprise death, after that you basically become a sitting duck until blighted round go off cool down again. That’s what I hate about the class so far. I didn’t know you could turn the Blighted turret into an ice turret. That makes it a lot more useful indeed. Can both turrets be active at the same time for maximum freezing potential?

Great video! Glad you discussed other options! Only question is how do you actually play the class? Throw down your turret, let lose with blighted rounds? Any tips when fighting solo enemies vs mobs? Close dmg vs far? Also, is 8 round sniper rifles the sweet spot? That seems to be the best IMO.

Tip: for weapons mods. I use BRAIN-EATER, it doesn't consume ammo with crit shots. Perfect with Blighted Rounds

How do we know blighted rounds bypass armor? Pyromancer volcanic rounds say it specifically. Trickster rounds are anomaly rounds specifically. Where did we figure out that blighted rounds do the same? Its not in the tooltip. Just looking for some clarity

It seems silly to run blighted turret. If it does decay you get that from blighted rounds anyway. If you run it with freeze you get that from cold snap. So why not run fixing wave instead? Blighted turret seems wasted

Any tips on what part of the game to focus on after hitting lvl 30? More expedition farms or monster hunt? Or both?

The only thing I would question about this video is you mention that Armor Piercing isn't worth it due to having Anomaly damage on your bullets due to decay, in saying that if you're levelling wouldn't you be better off going the bottom tree for the extra Anomaly damage as that should also affect the damage those bullets are doing, not to mention the increased tic damage over all on Toxic?

I'm loving this game but its really starting to show that their is no build diversity bc you need to use the blighted rounds, twisted rounds, or the volcanic rounds are a must for endgame which ruins literally all the non dps trees and devastator becomes almost useless

Find the disturbance mod from the imploder gun. Pop that on the gun ur using. Blighted rounds will not be number 1 anymore. Friend found it yesterday and tried it. Irs actually broken how much dmg that mod does

Nice video, i got a question: Does the game rounds up? I mean if i play a sniper with only 1 bullet in the magazine what will happen if i get 30, 50, 60 % of my ammo back? Same with mag size?

So question: I noticed that the assault rifle that shoots bursts of 3 does a lot of damage while leveling Technomancer. Is it just to compensate for not being full auto, or....is it benefitting from sniper mods on the tree? That would make this build even stronger. I can't play to test the theory at the moment, just a thought.

great vid and nice easily understandable information, a quick question about blighted rounds tho, does the skill overwrite the weapon mods or if u had a weapon with say bleed or burn bullets on it u would get both kinds of dmg dot together? appreciate the vids keep them coming

So basicaly same ase pyro. Empowered shots and skills are obsolete. Might ve strong, but killing the point of the game. Hope there will be more than just differet color on tip of the gun

Is this build also good if I am trying to level up and play through the campaign?

I'm still working through the campaign, but the skills I'm running with I haven't seen in any videos, so I'm wondering if they don't work well on the higher world tiers or something, if anyone knows anything about it. I take cryo and blighted turrets both and then (so far, though I'm debating changing to the healing skill or the mortars for certain situations) cold snap. The turrets do a great job of flushing enemies out of cover as well as causing damage, and if you take gear with +skill leech, the healing is great. I had a heck of a time soloing my way through the last fight in the forest, before the gate, and unlocked the blighted turret on what must have been my ninth try, and decided to give it a go. In boss fights you can basically just book it, dropping turrets as soon as they cooldown and then a cold snap when a group gets too close to slow them down, and against mobs it's great for protecting your back and advancing. I prefer long range and support fighting, but the game loves enemies that get in your face, so turrets kind of act like a buffer and are also great for room clearing.

So One Legendary I have that I'm wondering how it would work out with Technomancer is Rarog's Gaze, any thoughts or Ideas on if it's a worthwhile Weapon?

pyro techno and trickster all have problems with survivability and here i am trying too make a pea shooter do actual damage with my dev taking hits too the face like some pro boxer

If you ever get the high roller shot gun dismantle it for embalmer's rage to get auto crits for 5 seconds after 1 enemy kill and your damage numbers go through the roof lol

I feel like techno is hard on controller cause u have to use marksman and snipers

Healing wave is way better if you use the mod that gives it health regen for 8 seconds

Any reason to opt out of of two sides of the power & go for blurrscreen & wipe out? I’m still leveling at 22 but I never like going with the meta builds everyone else uses or you see on RU-vid. Build I created is for more the LMG/AR & I thought those 2 big ones looked more beneficial than trading survivabability for dmg. Thoughts? Aside from that my build I’m following looks identical with the same skills to be used.
