I am testing this and Blightfire is an issue for the Minigun the more you push higher tiers. Enemies become bullet sponges, and there is no way to kill a mob in less than three shots before Blightfire kicks in. - (EDIT) I found a work around and it is very effective; Replace your Blight Turret with Fixing Wave and replace the Toxic Lead mod with Quartermaster. This way, if you have good enough Cooldown reduction (which you should if you are using the 3 set Flame Leper set), the next step is to replace any other mod with Bang For Your Buck (which adds 100% ammo to your minigun, to approx. 320 rounds total) This way you will activate your wave every 10 seconds or so and never run out of ammo and you also heal yourself (Note: these effects also apply to your party at any range)
This build is fantastic. I run something similar but keep in mind with how the are treating status power this build will get weaker as you climb APOC levels. It doesnt hit like this at APOC 35. LOL
Break Their Ranks is really good when dealing with enemies that can become immune to status effects. You'll know that they are immune as you'll see the icon next to their name has a yellow circle around it. Normally you would have to wait for that immunity to wear off. But that Pax tree node will let your minigun strip that immunity off instantly. It has a 7 second cooldown, so if you're fighting more than one enemy that can become immune you won't be able to strip it off them until that time passes. It's going to be why your Cryo Turret can keep freezing bosses while you're shooting them (boss milage may very).
Actually minigun cannot trigger this node. As it is not "interrupt". Only rocket launcher has this property. So yes - tools of destructions benefit from this, but only when you use rockets.
Unless they have changed it since I last played a few weeks ago the increase to ordinance skills from status power only applies to explosive skills like the pain launcher, scrapnel and the rocket launcher for tool of destruction not the mini gun
I run a double cryo minigun with quartermaster for ammo refill, blight fire dealing 2 mil per tick is nice. And that one before last pax node removes the invulnerability status of bosses, meaning they can't escape being frozen and the arbeters can't use that ability in the middle of the field
I run the same build but I use twins and Cold snap and TOD, I got really lucky with mods and gear (all status and anomaly) so I have only one dead mod others are for cold snap and turrets plus anomaly stuff. I am at 69 gear level and that status penalty is no joke, prob will have to go to blighted rounds and drop TOD. Also get a a hand gun with stat and armour pierce as a stat stick. I run mostly duo/trio so bosses have way more health. In single you can mow down any bosses, this is why I dont put much weight on single man runs.
@@mikodel yeah, true, but I have no issues in duo's or trio's with th build I have and quartermaster gives unlimited ammo not just to me, but to anybody with me.
How does overclocked second chance work?. Is it supposed to save you from DBNO or does it save you from dying while DBNO?? So far it hasn't saved me in either solo or coop🤔
I have mine setup so that it melts everything. I was lucky enough to roll gloves and boots with anomoly, status, and cdr, with the anomoly for Resist pierce and quartermaster. Then I just throw on the extra 30% for active minigun with a few extras and the 100% status power contributes to ordinance. It's busted
Get the fixing wave on instead of the blighted turret and use quartermaster, a level 3 mod. It fills all ammo for all weapons for you and your team. It's perfect
Most probably Blightburn is kicking in before you kill the mob. Unfortunately, any enemy killed while affected with Blightburn won't replenish your Minigun ammo, that is the flaw in this build and why it won't work on higher APOC tiers, hell, it doesn't even work on APOC 17 if you're on par with your Ascension level (25-26) - Just avoid using the 3 piece Leper set, it is useless if your main purpose is to play with the Minigun all the time. The only reason why it is working for this RU-vidr is because he is playing on Tier 29 with an Ascension level 70. That's why enemies are weak AF.
