@@shawnkinghdoubleohoover9722 Gear for an AP build should have Anomaly Power, status power and cool down reduction. For the FTF weapon, you want armor pierce and status power.
Fun fact about first things first, you get the buff even if you dont finish reloading. so shoot get that mages rage going hit r to reload and immideatly spam skills. youll have the buff without having to wait for reload animation
Thank you for this video! Very important for German players: the mod „first things first“ says something completely wrong in the German translation. It says that shots will duplicate status effects to the nearest enemy, which is something entirely different. But i tried it and it actually adds the 50% armor pierce. Maybe address it in another video?*coughcoughthatwouldbeawesomeccoughcough*
I am enjoying my current build but I subscribed b/ ur producing actual realsistic builds n not using cheats as some RU-vidrs and passing them off as “legit builds”.

Great video. This mod is crazy fun. The icon looks like a bullet going through the left side of body armor for anyone keeping an eye out when it procs.
So inspired by your techno monger I tried it out at ascension 25 apocalypse 21 and added to it instead of full desolator pax I took undying and override from overseer pax I call it the facetank techie I was luck to get an heir to the dessert with deathdrome in the 3 slot so at an avg of 55gs now at 31 ascension I can reload to 650k and sit in the red zones to get almost 1 MIL anomaly power. And stupid amount of dps
The one thing I want the most is a Mythos with mages rage or fortress in the apoc slot so I can roll omen - mages rage - fortress although I'd settle for a final penance with Fortress as the apoc mod. Don't like double guns but I'm not using it for damage anyway xD
Nice tip! I am doing lot of damage with my AP builds, but I must say I miss my FP builds :P I did got for lazy techno tho, with minigun! just mow down the entire trial by holding in the button.
Hi Buzz - I thought the peeps that purchased Outriders on day 1 were going to get Worldslayer for free - you have wetted my appetite to reload the game but not sure about forking out more earth pounds.
Mage's Rage alone is a gigantic multiplier like it's honestly stupid how good it is. I finally got it on my Trickster the other week and damage shot up dramatically. I do think it kind of sucks however that for on-going abilities like Turrets the game doesn't snapshot your AP - you have to maintain buffs throughout the duration. Not getting too excited about anything until the big balance pass later this month, but I do sincerely hope they implement A LOT of buffs because too many mods are still underperforming IMO.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer Agreed, for starters they could buff the Sniper node on the Techno's PAX tree, but like just in general they need to crank up the multiplier on Sniper Rifles for landing headshots. SMGs could use some love as well.

just want to mention this because it is actually really good, but if you combine ice component with Hazardous Modifications it turns the blighted turret into both versions and deals the damage of both even though it loses toxin damage (if you are applying toxin through everything else this isn't an issue since only one toxin debuff can be active at a time)
Hey all! First thing first says that after the first shot the armor penetration is increased. However, in the German version, shots are fired at opponents who are affected by a status effect, which also transfer to an opponent who is closest to the target. What exactly is right now? Curious if this would work with the shieldbeast trickster setup using twisted rounds. Build that AP up super high so when you hit twisted rounds it holds that number. Having a blast playing an AP build that hits better than a FP build.
Twisted Rounds doesn't snapshot anymore. They fixed it. Which is a super buff to the skill because you can take skill nodes and mods that boost AP and not have to worry about trying to get your AP to a high level before you use it. Easiset way to test this is put mage rage on weapon...pop twisted and crit a few times and watch your dmg go way up. If it was still a snapshot then your dmg would stay low until you re-upped Twisted.
I had no idea about that T1 Mod, which btw, it seems broken as f***! In any case, if PCF doesn't fix that, if I return to the game I'll be sure to hunt for a weapon with that Mod. Thanks for the info!
My ap techno AT13 has a base ap of 85k and i use indeed mage's rage on my ar absolute zero which i find crits a lot But instead of using the armor piercing conversion i find the t3 mod arms and anomaly very good and it is also crits that proc it It is only one mod which increases my ap by 45k, with a base ap of 85k thats a lot and extremely good together with mage's rage
Iv heard global cooldown reduction is capped? You have over 130% so if there is a cap you maybe able to re-allocate some of that? Also sorry i just realised i hadnt subbed after watching many of your vids. They keep popping up on my youtube play lists so i assumed id joined 😂 glad to be part of the nearly 100k. I love your guides, videos and explanations. They are very precise. But i am still in the early game and really struggling. Is there an "early game" build guide you could make? Meaning: not having acces to all mods and not even having that many legendary weapons/armor (i only have 3). It would really help me out to get progression, because I am stuck at the moment.
I use it for ap builds as well. I rock the techmonger and the turrets just slap. I literally sit down and only have to take a few shots on the boss to proc the mage's rage. It's cheese and I love it 😅🤷🏾♂️
Use the setup. Get that weapon with armor pierce and First Things First. Fire a few shots, reload and then go wild with your melee abilities. LMK what you think of it once it is done.
There are other ways to get 300k AP that doesnt need 3 mod slots and to sacrifice fortress on weapon mod. Cant see how effective that combinpation really is until you show us the entire setup of your techno.

I remember turret build in pre expansion was my favorite build it was interactive swapping between different guns for different scenarios and it felt like a nice support role. Now it’s brain dead, cast cold snap and go do the dishes while it out dps everything in the game. This game has way too many broken mechanics. Everything is god mode.

What I think they changed I want to try this mod and the text says shots on enemy with status effect sprayed the status on nearly enemy I don't understand why I want this with amor piercing but the mod called first things first
Not a bad build, but my setup is better and hits much harder. Still using Blighted Rounds build. I'm doing well over 20 to 30 mill Crits on average on my build.
nerfed to the ground. (all 3 mods that are needed got nerfed) if you get fortified weaponmod (the green shield t3 mod) instead it gives you higher buff now.
Looking for anyone that can tell me if there is a cap on the resistance piercing… I have or can reach 125% without using this technique …would it still be worth it to push it higher?
@@LtBuzzLitebeer they need to put that in the mods description cause for some mods like mages you can swap and you don’t lose that buff and fortress you do lose if you swap it’s just confusing for some people.
yes it would require some skill management and wont be possible on every build but the way i read it u only get FP if u got exactly 2 skills on cooldown all other cases should be AP didnt get to test that yet tho
@@The_Annatar After looking into it I think I’m gunna main the Heir to the Desert and run Mage’s Rage and Fortress just because it’s got Armour Piercing, Status Power and Skills Life Leach.
Create a new character, go straight to WorldSlayer to skip to lvl 30 instantly, then visit Tiago and Re-Roll his inventory until it includes the weapon "Final Penance" . Buy it, dismantle it, and Voila,... Mages Rage is yours! It's much cheaper to roll his inventory on a low level character. Hopefully you have enough resources thru dismantling as many legendaries as you can possibly part with and get lucky on it appearing in his stock quickly. Hope this helps!
@@curtdazzle9416 bit of a longer strat I did but if you run that character through the Worldslayer campaign you get a ton of resources its enough to do a bunch of rerolls at Tiago
I've been using this mod since worldslayer dropped it was actually on accident I was doing more damage randomly I had no clue why then I saw my armor Peirce as an 80 and resistance at 125 and I was so confused and of course I had unstoppable force and the truth 2 I can't remember no resistance against the fortified I think.. if you can is it possible to check if above 100 res Pierce does anything?
This is all well & good, but look at your apoc-accession-avg lvl-mods,,,we all can’t play for millions of hours everyday,grinding away so for your average joe this isn’t really achievable??
This turret build was great before the gear set and this update. It was nobody but a hand full of people who knew how to make the build and have it better then all the bullet builds. Now we turret technos is not rare no more because they gave y’all players a easy button to build the turret build. Sucks, but it is what it is. Good informative video though.
